Be prepared for odd language. No, not cursing, just...strange to everyone but me.
How dare you forget about the best jazz instrument of all? Vibraphone!
Dost thou not knowst of which I speak? (I warned you)
For those of you who don't bother to know what an instrument is called, it's the big, shiny, golden bells-type-thing with a pedal. Which in our case, continuously falls off.
Ok, enough of my insane (and slightly Shakespearian)rantings. I love vibes. They're like...suped up xylophones!

Piano and French horn, which isn't great for jazz but it can work if you manage to get the right tone for it.
Haha yeah that clarinet solo in Sing, Sing, Sing is really cool. I love that piece.

well, I play Guitar (mainly acoustic guitar) and I sing (but I´ve got more like a soul, PopRock kinda voice)

popadonky Here you can discuss any instrument/s you play, wish to play, used to play or just any instrument u like. Try to relate it to jazz. OK to start off I play clarinet and I wish I could play the clarinet solo from sing, sing, sing by benny goodman. I really like the sound on the soprano sax. though. cool cool cool I play the soprano sax. Also I play tenor, barry, and alto.. I dont think there are any others xd I played clarinet when I learned alto sax. then I ditched the clarinet xd and stayed with my saxophone!

I play flute and alto sax. I used to play viola... which was weird. anyway... yeah I feel like an amateur... all you guys play a ton of instruments, I'd like to learn all those.

Haven't been here in a while. Quite curious...
It's spiff how most folk here have secondary instruments and spoof. o: I started out with.. drums and cello, then to the piano, clarinet, tenor sax, and was learning but phailed at violin, trombone, and vocals.

Bass (I got a proper Jazzy bass too, a Hofner 500/1), piano and tuba (though I don't use my tuba for jazz)

i play bass guitar...
and i think i would love to play the trumpet aswell....but i doubt i have the patience for it though...
piano might also be nice to learn how to play xp

i play saxophone (i have an alto and a tenor, so those two)..
and i think the saxophone is the only instrument of which i want to claim that i really CAN play it.. and also use it in a band..
i also play the flute, but only for myself and not that much lately anyways.. and never had any lessons for that sadly..
what i would like to learn playing properly is the piano (not too very well yet) but dont have money for instrument and lessons..
and well.. i used to play a bit on my dad's acoustic guitar until i gave it to a friend of mine which is really really good at playing any kind of guitars..
apart from that i used to sing in a gospel choir (alto) but cannot go there anymore..
what i really would love to do is training my voice in lessons, also getting piano lessons, would like playing different wind instruments once as well (like trumpet or the trombone, but with the trombone i made the experience that i cannot play saxophone anymore afterwards.. razz )..
but sadly lack of money for doing that and my parents dont see why they should help me out..
