Nozomi-chan! The Monkees are pretty good, but the Beatles would be a whole lot better than the Monkees. It's like the Rolling Stones and the Kinks... Rolling Stones of course!!! They have a similar sound but you just have to agree that the Beatles have more of an original sound in each and every one of their songs! I'd have to agree with you, except for The Kinks thing. I know it's opinion, but I don't really like the Stones.
