Ses yawned and rolled his eyes. "I thought we needed to hunt." He said, though not overly offending. Why couldn't he just be lazy and enjoy himself all of the time?
His tail flicked and he sighed. "Anyways, about what?"

"Why do you hate my runt? What wrong did he do you?"
He bluntly asked as he continued to walk. This little hunt was just an excuse to get more information on his son. This Sesere seemed to know a thing or three about him. Well, if he sticks around and answer his questions, Ashki would hunt him a buffet for his reward.
"I have not seen my son for many years and it seems I have missed his growing up. Tell me about him and be warned, you are speaking to his father so do not slander his name before me."

He raised his eye brow at Ashki and his face grew stoney. "He is with my mate now..." He thought, anyways. He was almost sure of it, he'd heard and seen what he has. "Before I could stand him. Now I will tear out his throat." And he shot Ashki a glance to say 'shut up' before he said anything. Father or not he should understand what a crime it is to steal some one else's mate. As much as Ses had slept around in his younger days he'd never stolen another males mate. And he stayed true with Taj. Why didn't she want to be with him? "I dont know what else you want to know, and I don't care to tell you. Cacth up with him, not the strangers in his life."

"Well...do you ever cnsider the fact that you are lazy that she maybe left with my son? Look at you, you are a mess. Your daughters are a different matter. What if Zaini gets a mate and starts her own family? What will you do? Resee is seeking pups as well. Sesere, when you mated with your mate you should have thought things through. I am sure my son meant no harm. Does she even know where you are?"
He glanced back at him. His gaze were teh same as before, always demanding respect and at the same time there for support. He would never ill another maned wolf unless he had wronged him or another in any way. And by the sounds of it, Usu will have to be punished if he really did take Sesere's mate.
Who is this female that he keeps talking about? Why did his son aim for her knowing full well that she had a mate? If she meant so much to Sesere....why was he not with her now? Why was he waiting for Usufii and not his mate? Perhaps they are together. But why wait for Usufii rather than his mate?
There are so many questions...he wasn't giving a detailed answer.
"You got to make this clearer if you want me to help you."

"How said I wanted your help?" He snorted. Though he was just masking the fact that those words did hurt him. Taj knew how lazy he was, had known. For years. "You get something straight.. I was friends and traveling partners with Taj a long time before we decided this family crap.. this mate crap." He shrugged slightly and sighed.
"I dont know if she knows where I am. She ran off once I finally bumped into her again. And they havent been to this tree when I have.. and my daughters mating choices are no concern of mine and certainly none of yours." He snapped. Testy, wasn't he?

"Well, I was gonna join you in wiating for him since it seems that both of us want to see the heir of the Muroders. Not to mention get a piece of him too. But what strikes me as odd was, usually a female would aim for another who seems to be stronger. You don't think my son is strong do you?"
He said as he walked on.
"Hold that thought, I suppose it would be time for your reward for sticking with me for this long and answering my questions. Wait here."
Ashki's voice was still the strong, deep, demanding one. He did not tolerate disrespect well and he was doing this male a favor. He was skin and bones with some food in that stomach he was gonna fill up more and possibly make a decent running rival. He needed someone to run with him everyday anyways.
The male nodded quickly and ran off.

After a long time, he returned with a good sized zebra and a small rabbit for himself. He had already hunted so he did not need much food. Ses, however, needed all he could get.
The head of teh equine fell before the other wolf and Ashki laid a little ways with the rabbit in his paws.
"Eat up, I'm gonna head back to the tree when I am done, you may do whatever you want."
He spoke before slowly eating his catch. Ses was his own person, the alpha could do nothing aout it.

Ses sighed and sat to wait for Ashki, not bothering to answer any of his questions. When he returned Ses eyes the food and then began to eat. Slowly and hoping it would fill him quickly, it would be nice to have some left over for when Zee returned.

"If you like this, Ses, we could go hunting everyday, good for your body and it will fill your stomach. Besides, I guess Zaini would not have to be lonely during her own hunts with her father beside her."
He looked down to the half eaten catch between his paws. Zaini and Ses shared something he had desired for a long time. A relationship with his offspring. He always ignored Mizoga for reasons to himself and spent most of his time with Usu before he was ran out. The time was brief and short-lived.
To distract his thoughts, he started to eat again.

Ses snorted and finished his meal, tongue running over his lips and mouth. "Hunt every day? That is crazy talk." He rolled his eyes. "I do not need food every day, and I sure as hell don't want to be wasting my time hunting every day." Hunting took a lot of energy, Ses was lazy.

Ashki chuckled.
"Lazy, are you? Well, so be it. A friend of my runt needs to eat so I guess I could hunt for the two of us as we would be waiting for my son to return."
He looked back at the quagga-like male and sighed.
"Come on, lets head back."
