Collun I'm 13 and I'm not baptized. And I believe that if I die or Christ comes, I'll go to Hell. Yes I do. But I don't think I'm ready yet. And also, There are tests after baptism. In 1st or 2nd Peter he talks about a way to know if you are going to heaven. But you need baptism too. Also, if you are not baptized, God will not cleanse you. That means you are not ready to be cleansed. And in the New Testament, you ever notice how the Spirit only comes on the baptized? And the Apostles and Jesus fully submerged people, because it is like being buried with Christ, and as Christ was. .... You're Catholic, aren't you....

Well, it's really hard to argue with you, so i tried to figure out which denimonation would be the hardest to argue with, and I thought Catholic, because Catholics are Christian(i think...) , but they have completely different beliefs about it. Like purgatory. And confessionals. And, Baptism isn't the most important. You need to accept Jesus. JESUS IS THE ONE WHO WILL SET YOU FREE. Not Baptism. Where does it say that we need baptism to go to heaven? It is extra. Sorta like a sidequest in a game.

No. To go to Heaven, as it says in the Bible, you must "repent and be baptized." You need both. So yes. Baptism is required.

Acts 2:38 I won't quote it. I'll let you read it for yourself.

Acts 1:5 5"For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."
Baptism in the Holy spirit. This may be what they are referring to when they say you must be baptized.

Yes. But you do need to be baptized. Again, Acts 2:38. John was saying that all he did was baptized with water, but he meant that later, through water, the Holy Spirit would baptize you. But you need water before the Spirit can baptize you.

But if we won't be baptized with water, then it's like saying we won't be baptized with the Spirit. NO ONE was ever baptized without water.

What of the thief on the cross? Jesus told him that he would be with Him in Heaven, but the thief had just become a Christian while hanging there. What about that?

It doesn't. But NO church baptizes without water. It's because of examples. We need to try to be like the New Testament church, and they used water and full submersion. They were definitely right

Collun But if we won't be baptized with water, then it's like saying we won't be baptized with the Spirit. NO ONE was ever baptized without water. What I'm saying is what we need is spiritual baptism. Baptism of water is indeed very important, and is supposed to represent that baptizing of the Spirit.
