Cualtzin tilted his head. He never understood how his could live so long, but forever. How could that happen? "And they still look that great?" He was slightly surprised. He figured when he was sleeping his two-legger would put new ones in his mane and tail.
"Oh! I didn't mean it like that." He laughed.

Settia laughed with him. "Yes and I don't know how they do it. Must be magic or something special with them. I just know that I have always had them since I was born, I guess." she said and gave a shrug. "I have never really thought too much about it before."
The red mare shook her mane and flicked her tail feeling the flowers rustle in them. Yep, they had always been there and she had never met another Soquili with any kind of flowers or plants like she had.

He laughed. "Magic indeed!" Just like how he didn't know how his stayed him is mane and tail. He flicked his tail without realizing it. "But one should never question the magic of life."

"Indeed, it isn't wise for one to question the magic of the Spirits. Bad things might come from it." she said with nod and another flick of her own tail. The she chuckled trying to make light of her own words.

Cualtzin nodded. "It's also rude to question things that you know has no answer." Well, so he thought. It wasn't really that bad. He flicked his tail and went to down to nibble on some snow. It made it easier to get water the trying to break an icy lake and having the chances of falling in.
Tally told him never to go around places with ice over water. She'd had bad experiences. He wasn't one that would want to frighten Tally. Agreeing to that, he just normally nibbled on enough snow and there was his water.

"Very true. It only makes you look like the fool." she said with a nod back to him. The red mare pawed at the ground. The snow wasn't too deep but there was enough of it that you had to dig for any grass. She too dipped her nose in the snow and licked some up to have it melt in her mouth. She liked the feel of it just before it melted in her mouth. She just wished that it melted slower.

Grabbing a bit much, Cualtzin looked up with a painful face. "Brain...... Freeze." He said in much of a whisper. His face changed as his tried to make his head not hurt. All of them a pained look.
It was rather funny looking, also funny to him. He'd done that earlier.

Settia chuckled as he made faces. She had that happen to her a few times but not many. Jazz did that often as well only he seemed to never learn and did it often.
"Breath slowly and it will eventually go away." she advised. "My son gets those often."

He perked up hearing about a son. "Oh! You have children?" He asked. Not knowing that he actually knew her mate, Dyami. He was excited to hear about children. Being a soon to be dad, made him super excited.

"Yes, three actually. Two sons and a daughter." she said smiling, always glad to talk about her family. She loved talking to anyone about her kids, but of course that's what mothers do. "My one son has just became a father himself with two foals, one son and one daughter." she beamed like the proud grandma that she was. Even if that did make her sound pretty old.

He smiled excitively. "How awesome! I am so excited to be a father, was your mate excited?" He asked curiously. He always loved hearing about families. It was his one dream, and now it had come true. Or for the most part. They weren't born yet.

Settia chuckled at how excited the stallion seemed to get over talking about family. "Yes, he was very excited and very proud too." she told him remember way back when...well it wasn't that long ago but it seemed like it.

He laughed. "I Hope to meet them sometime. I'm super excited to be a father." He said. Well, of course she already knew that. He'd probably already said it, and then the way he was acting.

She chuckled again. "I am sure you will be a wonderful! Dyami was when our children arrived. He was so protective of them. It was funny watching him, watching them like a hawk!" she said and gave another chuckle remembering all the good times when her children were still foals.

Did she say who he thaught she said. He got a huge grin on his face. He'd met Dyami not too long ago. What a small world after all. Now he just had to meet the rest of the family. "OH! I know Dyami!" he said excitivly. "Wow! I would have never thought I'd meet you. He talked so highly of you!" He said again. He didn't remember if Dyami ever said her name or not.
But that wasn't much of a problem, he had bad memory when it came to other's saying names that weren't their own, unless he'd ran into them. He smiled even more. "Wow. This is such a surprise"
