[x]In a nearby forest, a second red-gemmed Ulaya was on the prowl for a meal. 'Today,' she thought, stalking through the trees as silently as she could, her padded paws making almost no sound on the soft bed of pine needles. The enchanted flames on her paws danced, seeming to echo her excitement, but did not burn. 'Today I will catch something, something big, and then they will have to accept me as a hunter.'
Hearing a twig snap nearby, she dropped instantly to her belly, crawling along the ground in silence. As she approached, her red-orange eyes scanned the foliage, trying to discern the source of the sound. Finding nothing, she rose to her feet, an ear flicking in annoyance. Needing to burn some energy - and some frustration - She began to run at full speed through the forest, enjoying the feel of the wind rippling her fur and the exhileration of dodging trees. Unfortunately, her speed disoriented her, and she forgot where this particular forest ended. Still running at full speed, she darted out of the cover of trees, barely skidding to a stop before running headfirst into the pond. Her eyes wide, she mentally scolded herself, 'how careless of me; I could have put out my flames.' Her ears flattening against her head in a clear sign of her annoyance, she compulsively started licking her paws, the fire caressing her face. Irritated as she was, she failed to notice the nearby Ulaya.((Whoah, a bunch of posts were made while I was typing this. xDD; ))

"Su-" Arec was interuppted when a female came racing out of a nearby forest. His eyes widened, flames were coming from her paws.

"oook..." she said as she saw the flaming pawed female racing out of the forest it wasnt something yo saw everyday.
Vira asked outta curiousity. "Um... who are you?"

Startled, the black female looked up, first at the male, and then the female. She abruptly dropped the paw she had been licking to the ground beside the other, her ears popping back up and tilting towards them. "Oh. Hello," she said at length, attempting to seem as nonchalant as she could. "They call me Tanis," she answered the female with a slight toss of her head, possibly an attempt to hide her red-colored gem with the hair on her forehead. She couldn't stand being of such a common rank.

"Oh i see... im Vira." she watched the female toss her hair, she wondered why such strange behavior. She tought it might be to show off her body to Arec but it seem's she wasnt tooo happy with the position's them ighty gods had given her.

Smiling inwardly, Tanis took note of the gazes of both Ulaya, directed at her flaming paws. She had to admit that she loved such attention; It made her feel less like her rank was important. "Thank you," she said with a small bow. "And what should I call you?" She queryed, taking a step towards the male, who had not volunteered a name.

Nodding to Arec, she tilted her head to the side at the offer. She really wasn't doing anything, aside from hunting... And that obviously had been less than successful. Flicking her short tail from side to side, she finally nodded. "Sure," she said, rising to her feet. "A walk sounds good."
