XD I'm still not liking my style at all. Too.. Korean styled. (I know, it's racist but it's true.) Though I can draw details and stuff good. ^^ (Thanks to art classes!.. Well because of that I can only freestyle.. )

Yo-It--=Shad=- XD I'm still not liking my style at all. Too.. Korean styled. (I know, it's racist but it's true.) Though I can draw details and stuff good. ^^ (Thanks to art classes!.. Well because of that I can only freestyle.. ) You mean you draw in the Manhwa style? I have some pieces of that style in my art. Look at my noses and mouths. I have actually learned more about art, and have improved more in my art, but reading mangas from different artists. There is one in particular I like, Yukiru Sugiski. I love how she draws the eyes, as well as her overall form. I actually just recently bought all the mangas she has ever made: DNAngel Candidate for Goddess Brainpowered and her more recent one, Lagoon Engine (or something like that. Don't have the spelling right in front of me). Brainpowered was an interesting series, same with candidate for goddess (though the last one was never finished crying ).

Wow.. I totally forgot there was an English word for it. Anyways, I love this Manhwa series called Comic. Stupid name but great storyline.
And personally I have no certain preference for one artist over another. I like Kishimoto (?) who drew Naruto because of the varying eye styles which I sometimes look at for inspiration and..
Hey wait.. Aren't most of those shoujo? (Hm.. Tes has a femmy side? A side that likes to fantasize? )

I like the art style, and I prefer character interaction and complexity compared to just and in your face action. If their character's don't have any personality or form, I loose interest quickly. I like characters that you could almost believe that they are real, and think of them as people and not just a character in a story.
By the way, your also talking to a guy that seems to like a few 'chick flicks', though I do like action movies as well. rolleyes
(Candidate for Goddess is more action than the others, as well as Brainpowered. DNAngel is more personality and character relation ship than action, but I love the characters in there, as well as the art.)
About the fantasize part, I do consider myself more of a dreamer. I like to 'dream' up things and stories. That could be considered fantasize, right?

Latest work. I really like how this one came out. I also found the paint brush object. It places a set item with different shades of color and different shapes as well. Like the grass and leaves.

they're great but you might want to try using circles and cylinders to create the body shapes. You'll have much better perspective and proportions! I'll try posting the pages from a few books I have that would really help you out. I'm sure all your art will be great! biggrin

Wow, the last one is so good! I'm amazed how people can do landscapes, with pencils especially!.
Have you ever tried shading on the computer? I think you should. 3nodding

In the picture that's about four years old. It's really good but i would like to know what medium you used. It looks kind of like pastels.

I really like that landscape. Also, I'd recommend not using those photoshop grass and leaf brushes; they look pretty tacky, in my opinion. Got a devart?

The landscape was done with chalk pastels, about the messiest I can handle for art mediums.
On someone else's comment, I can color shading digitally, I just usually don't feel like it, and/or isn't motivated enough to try. sweatdrop
