Thank you for posting what you feel for the guild I am very gratful to see that there is lots of poeple that care about this guild and want to change it, but I wish there were more. crying

I'm thinking the another secret guild could be in order. I that was a very good idea to be brought up to see the real people that want to see Gaia change for everyone. i also feel that we should start talking about this more in private since there have been spies and stuff. They could easly say stuff like this to get into the the other guild, so we also n4eed to be more carful around the people we do not know very well. We should start off with a quiz or go around this guild and finding people with their ideas to help better Gaia for the poeple.

Another thing that might give us some trouble might be the fact that there will also be some people that might not be able to go to the other guild and might have a bad effect on all of us. I know some people might get dissopionted on not going, but there will have to be sacrafices in order to help better Gaia. I know that might sound wrong , but it is true. We all that have posted her want to help, but even if it means that i can't go to a new guild to help I would know it will be for the best and go with it.

Also there is the thing about trying to get Cycons attension. I've noticed that people have the animation thing so they can get Cycons attension and get noticed, but like it says we connot have just fans of Cycon and his work. That is just to distracting from the real reason why he created this. I admit that they are all very good, but we should stop trying to impress Cycon with that and start doing stuff to help him in the project. It takes alot to go up against Gaia and try to better it. Its a risk that we all could get banned for fighting Gaia. I'm proud to stand and fight for what is right no matter what the cost. I think we should find poeple like that.

I might have stated what other people put already, but I still feel like it is a problem that MUST be taken care of.

I have regretfully not been as active in the guild as of late, due to several reasons, but all in all, hopefully they will pass soon and I can return to what I've normally done here.

I like what I'm reading about a hidden, second guild. It makes a lot of sense and it would be highly useful. As an alternative, we also have the forums that were created by Swift a while back, they are perfect for such things as weeding out the people that are actually passionate about the cause.

Also, in relation to the problem with mass recruiting...I'm not really sure how we would go about recruiting any other way, perhaps though it would be appropriate to change the methods in which we let people into the guild. This would all come down to the responsibilities of the guild moderators of course, seeing as how they are the only ones in control of the admission of new members. My idea here, and this has been brought up before I believe, is that before admitting a new member, take the time to PM them and talk to them on a more personal level about how dedicated they are really willing to be, or if they are just DCK fan's. In the case that they are just simply DCK fan's, then it would be simple to just direct them to the fan guild, and if they are truely interested in participating in the cause, then by all means let them in. This duty could also be easily passed off to members of the guild by gathering a group willing to take on the job and having the guild mods pass off a list of the people applying to the guild.

On the subject of spies...there is really no way to prevent them from infiltrating, so I wouldn't spend any time trying to think of ways to do so.

I agree with Kaoru Udashi's plan 2. It seems the wisest path to take. By setting up this new Guild, yea any who wanna pose as Cyon members can on the main page, But the smaller thread will let those who are true to the cause be able to do thier job.

Spies- We'll just have to be careful and be on the look out for any one who is extremly suspiccios or voices thier dissaproval of us as a whole.
Honestly yea, our whole sense of order has broken down with the mods gone....HAven't seen gothic dust since i joined way back, when ever.
AS for cyon's fan club, when i joined i didn't even know who he was, the idea of the guild just intrieged me.
MAybe with summer coming, the Forum will liven up again. I mean some hoe i manage a persona life and still haul my a** to the computer after track and work. eh.
So whats the final synopsis then every one?

I agree with Swift. The remaining mods need to get together and make a some decisions soon because the guilds cause is being lost within our current standing.

Perhaps we should start a fund for the new guild? One of us could just be in charge of keeping the gold and everyone else can just send gold to them to go towards the secondary guild. Even despite the lack of participation by the majority of our members, the number we do have that are active is still pretty great, so raising the funds shouldn't be too difficult. And we aren't in any rush since the guild doesn't necessarily need to be created right away, at least not until plans are finalized.

So far, this seems like the only plan of action we can take at the moment without Mod help. That, and perhaps forming a group willing to interview new guildees from here on out. Can anyone think of a good name for this group? Also, do we have a department in the squads that could possible fulfill this job description already?

Well, the "interviewing" was actually only going to be applied to new incoming members, I hadn't even thought about it as a process for getting into the secondary guild. But if it should be used in the process for deciding who should be invited to that secondary guild, then I agree with you, it should all be done in secret...though, things such as that would have to be left up to the mods, and not even all of our mods are active very much anymore unfortunetally.

ninja *all secret ninja like plans!*Alrighty, so then guess some one'll tell the mods and get it roling. At least there IS a plan. Fells better ya know.

Thanks for all the info. I guess I just got confused cause our school gets out MUCH earlier than other schools and forgot other peoples were finishing up.

...are you on the east coast? (assuming your in the states at all) I'm On the west, and I just got out of school. It seems to have a sweeping trend from east to west in the order that schools get out. biggrin
