"Woa! What an adventure!! This is so much fun!"
Sam smiled and then looked back into the hole.
"What's up with that hole anyway? Why did we have to get out of it? I kinda liked it down there...."

"You don't want to..." Genno's right hand went instinctively to his left, and he cringed with the memory of the torture inflicted upon him. "I doubt very much that it was the hole and not this staff that teleported us... I think the staff wanted to take us there."
As he pondered this situation, a troupe of traveling performers came past, waving the three off of the road.
"The two of you follow at a distance, I have an idea." he stated, walking after the circus. "Pardon, we were looking for jobs in the are-"
"To hell with you," the ringleader spat. "I don't need any more of you freeloaders."
"If you'll excuse me," Genno continued, following beside the man's horse. "My friend there, the tall dark and angry one, can throw a knife and hit the smallest target dead on. And the younger one can hold her breath underwater indefinately. I can... you aren't even listening... Baijin!" A bolt of lightning shot out of Genno's mouth into the sky.
"You're... hired..." the man said, dazed. " You and your friends, if they want the job."
"You bet they do," Genno said, elated to have found work.

When Genno returned to the group Sam smiled.
"Good job! So know we have a place to go...right?"
She held up her hand as if to give Genno a high five.
"So, did you figure out when we will be starting on the job?"
Sam suddenly flew around and punched a drunk in the face.
"Hmm.....there are yet more of these people around. I've done my job to help the communtiy."
She flew around once more and knelt down next to the guy that she hit. Her face got really close to his and when she was just close enough that she had to barely whisper, she said,
"Best luck in all you do, Mr. Fart Face!"
She got up and smiled.
"It gets me everytime! Hee hee hee....I still have some growing up to do, I will admitt it, but you've got to admitt that that was pretty funny!"
Sam was laughing so hard that she almost lost her balance.

After high fiving Sam and laughing as she took out the drunk, Genno climbed aboard the wagon that was designated for their crew. He surveyed the area and pronounced it fit for habitation. He walked to the other end of the wagon to tell them it wasn't lice or rat infested and a glimmer of light caught his eye. In the wagon ahead of him was a man with the head, torso, and arms of a human, and the legs of what appeared to be a lizard. He thought to himself that though it looked realistic... the chances of it being real were slim. When he finished his appraisal of the new person, he yelled for Sam and Kakashi. "It's actually not bad up here sweatdrop " he yelled. As he said this, the wagons began to lurch forward at a slow, almost bored, pace.

Sam settled in her seat and she yawned.
"I'm quite tired, ya know."
Before she knew it, she was sleeping.
When she woke up, the room was dark and she began to shiver.
"Um....where ae you guys? Am I in here alone?"
She closed her eyes and began to think of what would happen to her if Genno and Kakashi weren't there.

Genno, yawning yet visibly disturbed by something, walked back to the wagon. Without a word to his compatriots, he settled into his designated bunk and feigned sleep.
Eventually, he was tired of pondering his situation on his own. He turned to his partners.
"Y'know what... I think the 'DragonMan' may be real..." he started. "I would have doubted it, but they treat him like an animal, and there's no inconsistency with his scales. It seriously looks like he may be half-dragon. I talked to him, and he wouldn't tell me anything aside from his name..."

Sam sighed and was happy to know that her parners were there.
"So, is that his name...I mean, 'DragonMan'?"
Sam sat up and opened up her cell phone.
"This place is weird. For sure!"
Looking at her cell phone, she relized that she had a message.
"Excuse me guys."
She went outside of the wagon and she listened to the message.
She started to cry uncontrollably.

"His name is Benkai, and he should be in the wagon over..." He then let Sam go check her messages and walked back to the other wagon.
"So... what do you do in this circus?" Genno asked the dragonman, trying to make conversation.
"The...main attraction... of the... freak... show..." Benkai seethed.
"What time do your guards change shift?" he muttered.
"Late. It varies, but usually when they think I'm asleep."
"Can you use a weapon?"
"Yes."
"See you then"
Genno strolled back to the home wagon, and notcied Sam's condition. Not used to being around people, he made an akward attempt to find out what was troubling her.

She looked up at Genno and wiped her tears away.
"Genno....."She could hardly talk,"My grandfather died....he was my only friend, my only friend, Genno. He's gone. He was the one that took care of me. He was my best friend. My parents beat me, he saved me. And now he's gone. now he's gone."
Sam began to cry again and she started to grow weak.
"I need to sleep."
She ran into the wagon and fell on the floor, and she fell asleep.

"Umm, Kakashi?" he whispered, trying to wake him but not Sam. "Hey, we have a bit of a situation... Sam's grandpa died. I dunno what you're supposed to say about stuff like that, is there any way you could do something?"
He then looked up by a mischance and saw that one of the guardsmen of Benkai had changed. He then walked over and used a spell to put the new guard to sleep. This done, he melted the iron bars with heat gained from the staff.
"Here," he whispered, throwing a sheathed dagger to Benkai. "Stay low, I'ma bust you out of here."
The two of them started across the road, and they reached the wagon without trouble.
"I'd say we have 6 hours before the guards notice something. Hide under a blanket just in case, I have to sleep... using magic weakens me a...lot... zzz." Genno slept like a child for four of those hours.

Sam kept sleeping and sleeping.
When she woke up, she wiped the tears from her eyes. She must have been crying in her sleep.
"I'm sorry abou the episode before-"She relized that no one else was in the room with her.
Sam layed her head back on the floor and she fell asleep again.

Genno, awake now, wandered back to the original wagon where Sam and Kakashi were and began to gather his scrolls and other assorted spell components. He softly squeezed Sam's shoulder, and made a gesture for her to keep silent. He motioned for her to follow as he hopped out of the wagon and walked over to Benkai, who handed him a small case. Genno then waited for his companions.

Sam got up and crept behind Genno. She was quite frightened because she didn't know what was happening. All she knew was that she should be quiet.

Not seeing Kakashi in the wagon, Genno closed his eyes. A muttered "luhluhluhluhluh" escaped his lips, telling Kakashi where to find them if there was trouble. He led them to a quite area away from the caravan to make introductions. He then told Benkai that he was free, and led the way back to the wagon.
Upon arrival, Genno slumped down in his seat and dozed off.

"Hmm..."Sam wondered.
"Why did I have to come with you??" Sam said but then she relized that Genno was sleeping.
She walked over to the doorway and stuck a note on the door. It read:
My Friends,
I am going on a walk. Please don't worry about me. See you soon.

After Sam left the note, she started to walk around. She thought about everything that recently happened to her. She came up to an old abandoned house and she put her hand on the doorhandle.
"Hello?" Sam whispered.
She walked inside and saw a baby in a craddle in the corner of the room.
"Oh my!" Sam gasped,"Who left you here?"
She knelt down next to the craddle.
The baby had deformed arms and legs.
"Are you ok?"
She lifted up the baby and it was limp. She heard anoise coming from behind her. She looked up and saw a man with broad shoulders. She set the baby carfully into the craddle.
"Hello there. Um....I'm Sam."
"What are you doing in here? No one told you that you could."
"Well....I'm sorry. You have a very cute baby there. Is he ok?"
"LEAVE!!!!"
Sam gently turned around and she left the house. The man stepped out of the house and he started yelling at her even more. She started to run. It was her natural instinct. When she looked behind her to see if he was there, she tripped and broke her leg. The man was gone, and she couldn't move.
