DreamerSpirit My skin is naturally quite pale, and here are a things which help me keep my porcelian complexion. My complexion is naturally so pallid that I am frequently asked if I'm wearing makeup, despite the fact that I rarely do. -Whenever you're going to be outside for more than a few minutes, wear sunblock. I'd reccomend using the oil-free kind, as it isn't as likely to induce acne. -Invest in a parasol (or several!). Not only will they nicely accent many outfits (unless you dress very informally), but they will help keep the sun off your skin. -Wash your skin everyday, and use a loofa! It will help stimulate cell regrowth. The occassional rub-down with a pumice stone may help as well. -Victorian women used lemon juice to help pale thier skin. I believe that it was scrubbed onto the skin. I'm not sure how well it works though, as I never tried it. Also, a few things to avoid doing... -NEVER use costume makeup on your skin. It clogs pores, and it looks quite tacky. Remember, there's a major difference between looking like a beautiful bisque doll and looking like a member of KISS. -Also, don't alter your diet to achieve a pallid complexion. When I first went vegan I didn't take iron supplements(and thus had an iron deficency in my body), and though the lack of iron gave me a very light complexion, it put great strain of my body. I was always tired, and became quite frail. Oh yeah! show the different style of parasol.... xd xd I usualy be exposed by a sun.... crying because i jog evry day( I wanna have hot body) whee

nany2006 l.a.v. belicia_lozano I'm Irish so my skin's naturally pale. But I didn't always like it. But now I'm glad I never tanned with all the stuff you hear about skin cancer anymore. eesh! no kidding! xd @Nanny2006: as for the makeup, any foundation will do! I suggest Lancome "Color ID" liquid foundation (it's got built in sunblock at SPF 8, and remember to choose a shade 1-2 shades lighter than your natural skin tone) with a dusting of IsaDora Velvet Touch powder in "Sheer Translucent" and a THIN layer of Bloody Mary's White Heat powder. ok.... emo but lancome costs so expensive!

l.a.v. nany2006 give me the name of this make-up....>.< choose a foundation 1-2 shades lighter than your natural skin color, and dust it over with the lightest color face powder you can find. if your skin is sensitive, try a lotion with lemon juice and vinegar in it. also, try this website for ways to be more pale: http://www.geocities.com/rainforest/vines/2010/gawthpallor.html That site's actually really cool. It even has stuff to lighten up freckles! Lol <3

As far as parasol styles go, there are many styles, but here are images of a few... Parasols like this can often be found in Asian gift stores. They're usually paper, but with a bit of searching you may be able to snag a fabric one. I have a black one, similar to teh one posted above. They're fairly cheap as well, and will usually run around $6-$25 depending on the size and quality of the peice. This type of parasol is fairly common, and many can double as umbrellas. I have one similar to the one shown. I bought mine at Target for around $10. Lace parasols are quite lovely, and can be easily found online.

I'm naturally pale (not really pale, just a little lighter than most people) and my parents always nag me about it in the summer. "You're so pale, go outside!" I don't mind being pale, and I certainly don't mind not getting skin cancer. Well, I guess I am sort of at risk because I do get a little tan if I get a lot of sun, and I have gotten sun burns before.

Bakurish I want pale skin, but... I'm black, so that doesn't really work out... sweatdrop Dark is pretty too! biggrin If you want to look washed-out/dead, I'm told the foundation 2 shades lighter thingy works pretty well for dark skin too.

Well, if you're never going to go outside (you probably won't though since you jog), at least make sure you get a daily source of vitamin D from somewhere. People need vitamin D, and much of it is from the sun, but there are supplements not to mention milk, as well.
I don't have any ideas on how to get paler that wasn't already said.
