Sasuke sighed, looking behind Orochimaru. Kabuto was back there, away from the Snake monster for a moment in time. He's got it easy. He sneered, turning his head back to the forward direction. "Orochimaru-sama, we're nearing there..." He whispered, wondering why the were going to Sunagakure in the first place.
His katana swong beside his leg, tapping him every other step. The purple obi-type thing wrapped around his waist was bugging him. Damn that b*****d...He gave me a smaller one when he broke the last one. He though, clenching the fist farthest away from Orochimaru. His sharingan was activated, though he didn't understand why he needed it.

"Akamaru, stop!" Kiba yelled as Akamaru ran at full speed towards a lake at the border of Wind Country, with his owner clinging to his back. It was too late though, Akamaru was already leaping into the air towards the water. They landed with a big splash sending water flying everywhere. When Kiba surfaced he glared at his dog who happily swam around him. "Baka! I told you to stop! Now we have to walk through the sand wet." Kiba never could stay mad at his best friend though and was soon laughing and swimming with him.
Shikamaru stood nearby, glaring at the pair in the water, dripping wet. This is what I get for traveling with such a troublesome pair. "Hey, this isn't a vacation!" he yelled.
Kiba laughed, "Yes it is, Shikamaru! Or did you forget we're going to a festival? We still have a couple days until it starts, so stop worrying so much. Or maybe you're in a hurry to see a certain blond?" Kiba grinned as Shikamaru mumbled under his breath as he went to sit under a tree.

Itachi walked quietly through the deserts surrounding Sunagakure. To say the least he was agitated from the imense heat barring down upon him. Really, a mostly black outfit in the desert isn't a good thing...but Rei-sama told him to go so he had to bear it. Itachi had little information on his 'mission' except that he was to attend a international festival along with his comrades.
He could weakly sense Orochimaru's chakra, growing stronger with each step he took. 'So...it is a international festival......perhaps a trap? I won't fool myself by thinking that Rei-sama has the best intentions for me...' he thought solemly. The bell on the rim of his hat jingled with every other step.
(yay for different colors!! ^_^U )

Kankurou sat near by Kiba and Shikamaru not on purpose. When he relized he was near the two leaf village ninja's he perked up. hey long time no see..... Kankurou walked up to the two ninja's "...hey you guy's......what are you doing in the sand village?" Kankurou carefully approched Shikamaru and Kiba trying not to get into trouble.

Shikamaru stiffened when Kankuro spoke and slowly opened his eyes to stare at him. "We're here for the End of Years Festival." Then being his lazy self, he shut his eyes again and said no more.
"Kankuro?" Kiba said from where he floated in the water. "I haven't seen you in a while."
Akamaru barked his hello as he came out of the water, tail wagging. He then shook off sending water, once again, flying everywhere. He went over and started sniffing Kankuro, his massive head eye level with the sand nins.
"Yo, Akamaru, back off. I don't think he wants to smell your breath!" Akamaru backed off, then lay down in the grass. "Sorry 'bout him." Kiba said as he came out of the water. He then shook himself off like Akamaru had.

"Kankuro! Where the hell have y-" Temari stopped as she looked curiously at the group. She reconized Shikamaru easily. "Huh?" She blinked before an epihany hit her. "Oh! Are you guys here for the festival?" She walked over to her brother's side before wacking the said sibling over the head. "And that's for running off from me." She growled under her breath.(My sorry attempt at Temari >.

"hey i like dogs...." he looked at kiba then shikamaru and shrugged "oh temari.....eh heh...there you are....i was uh....looking for you..." he smiled scared oh his older sibling "hey there's your boy friend....." he whispered in her ear.

Temari's eyebrow twitched. She took her large fan out of her sash, it made a dull thud as it's tip touched the earth. "Oh, little brother~" She smiled over at Kankuro.

Kiba smirked, hearing Kankuros comment. "Hey Temari, isn't there a no fighting rule out right now? You wouldn't want to do something that wouldn't allow you to go, would you?" He looked over at Shikamaru from the corner of his eyes and saw that he had one eye open. "There may be someone who was hoping to go with you." Shikamarus eye quickly shut causing Kiba to grin.

(Oi! I just remembered! I play a mean Oro! Can I play him? :3)
Sasuke closed his eyes, knowing they'd continue straight ahead until they were there. So unlike Sunagakure to be having a festival if their Kazekage is Gaara. Or at least what I've last seen of him. He continued his pace beside the snake sennin, lost in thought. Hm...I though Otogakure lost it's allegance with Sunagakure after the Chunin Exams in Konohagakure. He thought nothing of it, sensing a chakra that had plagued his childhood long ago. He paused, feeling it get stronger with every step. That b*****d's here.... He growled inside his head, clenching his fist tighter to where as his nails were digging deep marks into his delicate, pale skin.

"Yo! Why you getting so close?" Kiba said and tried to pry Kankuros fingers off him him. "Have some backbone, man."
Shikamaru sighed and opened his eyes. "You guys...are noisy." his eyes met Temari's and he looked away. Women are so troublesome... he thought, hoping the two siblings wouldn't fight so close to him. All he wanted was to take a nice nap, but that was now out of the question.

"No offense meant but I think I'm allowed to whack my little brother...it's the corse of nature, sibling rivalry, ya know?" Temari spoke looking at Kiba. "Now....dearest brother, why don't we go talk about the festival arangements deep in the oasis, so no one can hear,hm?" Temari smiled sweetly at the smaller sibling.
