I'd have to say Gold was a favourite of mine. I also loved Blue, as it was the first one I ever played.

G/S/C were by far the best....no "missing" Pokemon *pokes newer games*, long storyline, phone, both worlds at the time, etc...but I've taken quite a liking to R/S/E too...
I voted Silver. Bahah.

I liked Emerald. It has the best plot so far and is just so dang interesting.

Crystal is best. It's exactly like Silver, but you get one almost-free Suicune and the Pokemon are animated. 3nodding

Oi, you actually put in every pokemon game titles in the poll EXCEPT MY FAVOURITE!!!
I absolutely and utterly adore Pokemon Crystal, because after I bought Ruby and Sapphire, I thought that Pokemon games weren't as interesting any more and I'm not fond of the whole idea of new pokemon, as the creators are certainly running out of imagination for not only new names, but for new pokemon. I mean, recently I saw a pokemon video on youtube, with a new cat pokemon that looks like a normal blue cat. only difference is it has a curly tail. confused
Since Crystal was the first introduction of choosing between male and female and pokemon animations when you find them in the wild, it also had the Day/Nite feature that featured in Gold and Silver, and where only certain events can happen on certain days. Also, you can still travel between Kanto and Jhoto. I know the game pratically of by heart, and it still takes me 10 hours to finally get Clair's gym!
I absolutely adore crystal, and to me I don't think any other pokemon game can beat it, apart from the originals (Red, Blue and Yellow). (However, this may be bias, as I am a retro gamer. xB)
However, if we weren't talking about the different verions, I still cream myself playing my two Pokemon Stadiums for the N64! =B

Azura Bladewright I liked the G/S/C generation the most myself. smile I like a lot more about it than I do the other versions---the gym leaders, the music, the day/night system, the Pokémon...
*reprimands self for selling off Silver/Crystal cartridges* gonk How dare you! gonk
Trust me, even though I have crystal already, I still woulda bought them from you. xB I love those games so much! <33

Well, Diamond and Pearl just came out and I already love them more than any other Pokemon version! There are so many new things to do and the Pokemon world has been expanded so much because of it. <3 A lot of the old Pokemon come back too, like Ponyta, Girafarig, Stantler, Hoothoot, Geodude, and Zubat. ^^
Before them though, my favorites were Sapphire, Crystal, and Yellow. ^^

Yea, Crystal was great too. (Once I got into my Lance fandom, it was REALLY FUN.)
They need a game with Yellow's humor/Pokemon follower option (Pika in a pail! Priceless! AND you could store Pika away too!), Crystal's Freshness, and the minigames of all (Surfin' Pika, Slots, and... the card games, I suppose that's it. ;>>), comprise it all, and call it the final Pokemon Region/Badge game ever to be made, with the chance to catch all the Pokemon, despite how difficult and long it would be.
That game would be a sellout. There would be more demand than Price.
And cameos of a lot of favorites. (And maybe you can battle with/against them! *whipes drool away from her face*)
Hey... have rescue team members cameo--- *shot before the idea can come out, for such stupidity*

I like the old ones best. There's just too much to do in the new ones with contests and berries and blocks and stuff and I get bored of playing. I have a very low concen... ooh pop-up!
