That's normal, I should say. I think every fanguild, fanclub, etc. has more mems than the anti-ones. But what I'm trying to say is out of all the characters, Sasuke's one of the most hated ones. Have you even seen an Anti-Naruto fc, guild, etc. yet? From DA, to Naruto Forums, to Quizilla, Gaia, and the many other sites I go to, I sure haven't..or maybe if they have made an anti-naruto related anything..it isn't active since there isn't much to hate.

( From Naruto Forums, since like a gazillion Naruto fans are there..Trust me if you want debates (the most brutal pairing wars ESPECIALLY..If you can't back up your statements in a most acceptable way, I suggest that you don't say anything at all. They'll eat you up alive..) then that's where you go to. The creators of both the NaruSaku manifesto (Mizura heart Don't mess with her..)and the NaruHina manifesto (DarkHope) can be found there, along with people who's capability of logic is as large as Sasuke's ego..But, dare I say, the most tards can be found there as well, so watch out...)

ANYWAYS..

Anti-Sasuke FC= 431 or 432 mems (I lost count at the 401+ mark stare )
Anti-Sakura FC= 130 mems
Anti-Hinata FC= 88 mems
Anti-Orochimaru FC= 20 mems
..all the others are dead and they didn't even have at least 20 mems yet..But do you see my point? Sure Sasuke has many lovers (over 1000+ in NF xp )..but he's one of the most hated characters too.

I absolutely, positively ADORE Sasuke no matter where he is, what he's wearing, and what he's doing. I know, *le gasp* I'm breaking the rules! Whee! Go me! ^^


Why do you love or hate Sasuke Uchiha?

Ohoho, this is long. I have many, many reasons for loving Sasuke and I'm not even sure if I addressed them all here.

Because he's real. Honest to goodness. He is.

He's a person that won't take crap coming at him, nor will he take failing in stride. He's stubborn. He has a sarcastic side that speaks volumes to me.

He may be a "jerk," but if you had:
1) your entire family massacred by your idol, the one person that you trusted above and beyond anything and anyone else and
2) the kind of pressure that society plants upon him--he must be perfect and he must reproduce many, many Uchiha babies to repopulate the clan and he blah, blah, blah...
I doubt that you'd be the prettiest character in the world, either.

I've seen a lot of people brand him "crazy," but c'mon, he turned out a lot more sane than I would if I went through what he did. He had to watch the death of his family multiple times, people! (And yes, I do luff Ita-kun as well--I'm just a huge fan of the Uchiha clan in general [minus Fugaku--he didn't come off as a good father to me])

Many people get mad because he abandoned Konoha. I don't really blame him, to tell the truth. I mean, the goal that drives his life is to rid the world of the one that murdered his entire family for the sake of "testing my abilities." Now, when you keep in mind that Itachi is miles above his skill before the timeskip, it makes sense that he'd see the flaws in remaining in Konoha when he could get power from one of the Sannin (just like Naruto and Sakura did). Anyway, he's an avenger, and he knows as much. As a result of his goal, he's had to give up everything and he knew that the moment that he took on the role (at the age of 8, people! 8!).

Keep in the mind that his life practically ended (at least mentally wise) when he was 8. Psychologically, he's an 8 year old. Now, if you can't see that, then I pity you. And 8 year old is prone to making pretty rash decisions. *shakes head*

I love him because Sasuke's not perfect. He's far from it. I mean, he's fallen and tripped and made mistakes in his life. He's had to. Obviously, in his point of view, coming to accept both Sakura and Naruto (because he does care for them BOTH!!!) was a mistake because he's dragging them into his problems. I mean, he rebukes Naruto for chasing after him instead of becoming Hokage. He appreciated Sakura's love to him--a love that was obviously strong enough to allow her to want to (or thought that she wanted to) abandon the village to go with him on his quest for power. If I was in his place, I could see myself seeing those connections as "weaknesses" although with my outside knowledge, I know that they aren't.

When I see Sasuke, I see a character that wants to care but knows that with the magnitude of his goals and his burdens and his scars, that is an option that is unacceptable. I also think that he's scared--he's scared that if he opens his heart to people (no matter who they may be) they might die or betray him (just like his clan and his aniki). In a way, Sasuke is like a soldier who came through a war--he suffers from a sort of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (or something like that). If that doesn't scream volume to you...

Because he's tragic. He's the kind of character that is going to live through crap and come out the worse for the wear. There's just no way around that. (and I think that many people don't want to be faced with that circumstance, so they just shun the character [and bash them and hate them and hate the fans of the character and yatta, yatta, yatta...])

Lastly, he's a lot more dynamic than Naruto (and yes, before I incite Simone's rage *huggles her*--I do absolutely and positively adore Naruto as well). His personality undergoes a lot more changes than Naruto's ever will because Naruto is the cheerful (although he does have a tragic side as well), heroic, "I love all of my important people and I will save each and every one if they need it" types. Sasuke, on the other hand, has a lot more room to grow--he can come back to Konoha and change for the better; he can chase after his brother and become more evil (I will still forever love him even if he does); he can (what with the newest chapters) be eaten alive by Orochimaru's transfer jutsu when that happens *coughcough* (and if that were to occur, I might just stage a boycott against my dear Oro-*****).

Sorry, one more! SASUKE MUST DIE!!111oNE111!--that's pretty popular, I've noticed. mrgreen Well take this into consideration. If you adore the series at all, then evaluate just how much the ripples of that would affect each and every character. Sasuke is an important part of both Sakura and Naruto's lives. If that isn't evident to you then ask yourself why they're chasing so relentlessly after him. Then consider everyone else connected to Sakura and Naruto--they might not like Sasuke themselves, but they all love Sakura and Naruto. If Sakura and Naruto's lives go down the gutter because Sasuke--one of their very important people--died, then that would drag the other characters down as well.

Fun fact: I've found that ItaSasu fans are often more analytical of the more controversial characters (obviously mostly Itachi and Sasuke) than fans in the other fandoms. They also seem to be the nicest group. ^^;;

Naruto! Always and forever Naruto! heart I utterly adore my OTP.

If not Naruto, then I don't mind him being with Sakura. When I'm feeling pretty twisted, then I also like him with Kabuto or Orochimaru.

The more creative Sasuke pairings that I absolutely adore are NejiSasu, GaaSasu, and ShikaSasu. Now, those take creativity, and they're far from being cliche (like GaaNaru, NejiNaru, and ShikaNaru)

OH! And Itachi! ^^ My friend Chieira converted me to ItaSasu, so I've fallen pretty hard and pretty fast for that.


Do you prefer part 1 Sasuke or part 2 Sasuke?

I love him either way, actually. I will forever support Sasuke--even if he were to disappear (although that doesn't seem very likely to me--he's a big part of the story, and if he were to disappear then what would happen to the rest of the series? They'd catch Orochimaru and Akatsuki. How exciting. rolleyes ).


What's one thing you wish to happen in the anime/manga centering Sasuke?

I wish that he would return to Konoha, but if he doesn't then that's his decision. What more would there be for him anyway? {and that's one reason why he's so utterly tragic}

Why do you love or hate Sasuke Uchiha? Well, he claims to be strong and whatnot. If he was, then he wouldn't have to go to Orochimaru to get stronger. He look's down on every one in Konoha, saying he's stronger than them. If he was "stronge" like he say's he is, then he wouldn't of left in the first place.
