Delta opened her eyes and blinked "Thats it?" she looked at her arm and saw the tape and the tube. Her ears twitched a little and she pulled an -ewww- face but she was fine. She hadn't even really felt anything. Feeling really silly again for being scared at all delta let out a little giggle that made her arm move a little which made her feel the needle. it wasn't pain it was just... well.. eww.

A noticeable tension passed out of Jimmy that she hadn't panicked. "And this way, the tube'll get the shots instead of you, how's that?" he smiled at her. preparing the first injection. "And then you can go spend some more time with your dragon-to-be and forget you were ever up here." The tip of the needle went into the IV tube and the syringe's contents were slowly injected. When that was done, he repeated the process with the next.
"You liking your classes so far, Delta?" he asked her. Didn't hurt to get a feel for what he might be up against when he actually got to the classroom.

Delta smiled "I wish i could spend time with my egg, but i wont get to until it hatches" she really did want to hold her egg again.. Delta watched as the needle put the medicine into the IV tube, strange she hadn't felt anythin- Eww Delta's ears twitched, that was the worst feeling ever! like being tickled under your skin. Still twitching delta half-smiled again trying to ignore the gross feeling. "S'ok i guess, Depends which teacher really" delta grinned.

"Oh, yeah?" he grinned back at her. "I hope people don't mind if I stand in for one of them once in awhile. After all, that's what they hired me to do when they don't have me lurking in here." He punctuated this by tapping her nose with a fingertip gently.
A private organization like DCorp, he supposed, could get away with whatever it liked when it came to hiring teachers for children of its own engineering. It both encouraged and scared him all at once. "Other than that, they'll probably have me set up two floors below in the counselling center."
Let's see....that took care of measles, mumps, rhuebella, tetanus, polio...all that left was the rabies shot. She'd be getting her heartworm meds in tablet form in the mail from DCorp later. He placed the last syringe in the tube and slowly depressed the plunger.

Delta blinked when he tapped her on the nose and smiled. "Mabye one day i'll be in one of your classes then" she beamed. As se got more and more vacinations put into her arm she felt a little woozy but she assumed that was normal. She was glad that they had finished the last vaccine, soon she could get this tube out of her arm and go off to see a movie with her mum.

The last of the vaccine entered Delta's bloodstream and he withdrew the empty syringe. "Okay, pumpkin, you're all done." he told her, working up the edges of the tape before placing a cotton ball over the needle. In one deft movement, it was out of her skin and the cotton was absorbing whatever small beads of blood slipped from the tiny puncture.
A moment later, and there was a colorful Snoopy-print bandage over it. "You might feel a little bit dizzy or like you want to take a nap, and that's normal." he explained. "It'll go away in a bit, okay? And since you were so brave...." he went on, opening a drawer and fumbling in it.
He came up with an opened bag of tootsie pops and offered it to her. "You can go ahead and pick one." The candy had been his own idea. If kids were going to be expected to sit still for a hero's stint of shots, it was ridiculous not to reward them for it, as far as he was concerned.

Delta looked at the bandage and grinned. she had seen snoopy on television and liked him and his little bird friend. She also nodded to the man saying she might feel dizzy, maybe she should just go home and lay down with a dvd instead of going to the movies. Smiling she stood up off the chair and selected a purple candy "Thank you mister" she said angelically as she headed towards the door, glad that it was over. As she walked through the doorway her mum rushed to her and gave her a big hug for being so brave and they both headed off together to find the way out of the building and eventually home.
