This tutorial will help me alot as today is a one month anniversary for my boyfriend and I. I wanted to make a picture for him but I was stuck on how to do it then I saw this thread and took a look and thought "How about a kissing picture?" and voila!

hey allright just in time for valentines day smile

oh and i need help mine is not coming out right sad
first attempt was before i read the tute.
second attempt was after and i think it looks fine except that it looks like the first guy is forcing the second guy. any advice .. other than it fails and quit drawing.(heard that one too many times allready it doesnt help )

edit:
avvy on the right is artemismeow (me)
avvy on the left is chibi_sai

i am thinking that maybe changing the expression would help but uhm
what do i change it to.
if i have the eyes open it looks weird. unless i try a surprised look on chibi_sai but i wanted something romantic.
.. also the drawing is very sketchy i left the outlines in to see if maybe i was doing something wrong from the outline stage.

edit again:
also there is nothing wrong with the tutorial ... it helped alot as you can see from my first attempt to my second attempt its just that now i need even more help to take it to the next level if you will smile

edit yet again. well i got some advice from the main guild forums and this is what my 3rd attempt looks like.
personally i like it so i will now go and finish my drawing. still any additional advice is allways welcome smile

Well Artemis, your final one turned out well! XD;; I like the expressions.. it's kind of hard to smile while kissing though, I think the emotions would still come through with just shape of the eyes/eyebrows. :3

Also, you might have messed with the position of Sai's head a bit some more.. tilted it back and up more, maybe. Really play with the position of the jaw. I really didn't tilt the heads enough in the tutorial, even. XD;

But it still turned out really nice! Very cute. ;D I like how you did the hair.

i worked so hard at it i am glad you liked it crying
i think i will redraw it yet again to include a few more things especially the arms.
and i will defenitly take out the smile it just seems weird
