Reyairia Castitatis Lilium Rey, that is very hypocritical, I mean... I have my hopes for GaaSaku, I like it as a pairing and yes, it has its possibilities, but seriously, let's not let our preferrences get in ahead of logic.
GaaSaku is less likely to happen than both NaruSaku and SasuSaku.

I feel kinda disappointed. No they don't hon, and I just proved it.

@_@ Ermm...I'm not that good when stating my opinion against people who I consider friends but...
Reya-san, Icel and Castitatis [do you have a nickname by the way? xD], I think you all need to STOP. Like, seriously, right now. I mean, this is turning into a bit of a debate. And it is just a pairing thread so...yeah.
Back on topic, I don't like SasuSaku...much. It's just that back when I liked the pairing I actually found awesome fanfcs of it that I can't bear to take off of my faves. [>_> Even though I should...I've already reached the limit! xO]

Meh...Kishi is a very awkward type of guy. Most of the time I doubt he can even read himself. Yeah, he made the pretty much obvious since we all know Sasu=Oro, Saku=Tsu, Naru=Jir, but that's almost like saying, since the next closest possible Sasuke pairing is, SasuIno would have to happen, and I'm definatly all for ChouIno. Dx I'm postitivly pro NaruHina, so we all know I am in full doubt of NaruSaku, but then...There are so many possiblities for Sakura (It's the hair and eyes. xD) like Gaara and Sai. Dx That's why I think Kishi is very hard to read, and he is often...well...confusing. sweatdrop

The perfect-ness of it all. D: (Okay, I'm wrong there, but yeah...I have a point) I have great respect for SasuSaku - it has possibility. Who knows what Kishimoto will do?
I understand the Sannin thing, and History Repeats Itself, but I think Reya-san, I think you go a bit far with it.
Castitaiis is right - I agree, SasuSaku and NaruSaku have a better chance of GaaSaku - AT THE MOMENT. Kishimoto will have to do a lot for Gaara and Sakura's relationship if he wishes to make it canon.
And again, I lost my train of thought...Reading Anti-NaruHina Essays does that to you. :3

I sometimes wonder if Sasuke is just restraining himself. I doubt kishimoto would actually put forth Sasuke's moodyness towards not being able to be with Sakura into drawing form since, well, it's a shounen manga.
It's generally aimed towards boys.
Boy's don't like seeing all the romantic crap most of the time.
So, that's pretty much my conclusion.

When Jiraiya had a flashback, he saw Orochimaru leave and wasn't able to stop it from happening.
Its seen Naruto, and his goal is to stop that and save Sasuke.
When Orochimaru's past was explained via Sarutobi, it was about him being a genius and becoming teh evil.
Its seen in Sasuke. Sasuke will however escape that fate and will not become evil.
When Tsunade's past was explained, it was about her brother and her boyfriend that died when they wished to become Hokage.
Sakura will be in a similar situation, except she will save the most important men in her life from dying and help them reach their goals.
Just because its not as obvious in Sakura as it is with Naruto and Sasuke doesn't mean anything. Kishimoto just isn't good with romance or female characters so he doesn't emphasize it as much, but the matter of the fact is that its still there. I am not overanalyzing, I just know how to analyze the way most teenagers don't because... Well, people normally don't gain a sense of literature until older. I'm an exception because I've been reading for pleasure since a young age.
(You have no idea how I want to do some stabbing when it comes to my classmates in school, gragh! burning_eyes )
If Kishimoto ultimately decided to scrap that and make an exception with Sakura, it'd be neglectful, and to tell you the truth no matter how sexist he is I doubt he's going to leave a loose end with Sakura for the sake of a pairing that would conflict with it, this is a shonen manga afterall.
