Sinequan_150mg I do enjoy both bands. I got started on Blut Engel because of the morbid lyrics. A23 has some good ebm sounds. I am into all types of Industrial. However, lately I have been more into the EBM andElektro Also I am big into Darkwave. Those are two good bands that I would like to hear more of. I used to be big into Darkwave when I was younger. Then I heard of a genre called Dark Elf, its pretty much the electronica version of EBM. If it wasnt for Dark Elf, I wouldnt ever have given EBM a chance. smile

Whee, I'm *way* late on this thread.
I've not heard enough Blutengel to have much of an opinion, but I adore Assemblage 23/Tom Shear. If you're still looking for song reccomendations, try to get:
* Drive * Document * House On Fire * Disappoint
Those are great starters.

I also suggest "Let me be your Armor" along with their cover of "I ran."

A23's new album, Ground, is pretty excellent. "Light" is also a recent favorite song of mine. 3nodding

But not having any money and gift giving holidays so far apart, I usuallt have to wait to get new music. sad But I got A23 for x mas 2 years ago I think, and I fell in LOVE heart with them.

I really like both bands. I got into Blutengel a while ago. Maybe a few months or so after I had heard about them, I got into Assemblage 23.

If you are a fan of Blutengel, you might try the former lead singer's new band, Tristesse De La Lune. God stuff. Similer to Lunarclick*.

I felt like a tard the other night. I havn't labeled some of my mp3s and I kept getting my Blutengel mp3s mixed with my L'ame immortelle ones and I couldn't figure out why L'ame Immortelle didn't have a song called Vampire Romance and then I figured it out and felt like a real dumbass. neutral I do love Assemblage 23 and Blutengel though, I'm hoping when I'm next in England one of them is touring for me to see.
