Vorel went over what he already had, strengthening that so that he could progress farther out if he were lucky. He blew out the breath until there was no more left and looked over what he had done. Not to bad if you asked him, another section that reached a bit farther out then what he'd had before. Then he fluttered to the otherside to see if he could do the same to it. If he could then maybe he would be able to connect the two sides together? From there he would try going up the falls.

It was also slightly lucky that the water wasn't very warm to begin with, so it couldn't melt the ice very fast. It was rather cool, so what was frozen would remain that way for a while, at least.

Peri decided to settle again one of the trees near the waterfall, sitting and watching Vorel.

Vorel gave a sound of delight as he set up the next side of the river, creating the same icy ledge going out over this side of the water. He then sat back a moment to catch his breath. A couple of long, icy breaths made him need a breath of normal breath. His tail swished as he tried to size up what he was doing. Maybe another breath or two to connect the two sides he thought to himself. Hrm.

Peri grinned at the dragon's apparent joy. The frost dragon was doing fairly well. Maybe a little bit more practice, just to see how long the dragon could keep it up. Yup, after another attack or two, he'd let Vorel rest. No sense in wearing the poor thing out... too much, anyways.

Vorel drew in another deep, deep breath and after a moment of holding it in and cooling it within himself he let it out, the ice on the side that he was on moved forward across the surface of the river towards the otherside. He took a moment to rest then drew in another breath once more and with this breath he was able to connect the two sides making an ice bridge between the two side. He gave a roaring sound of delight, while he'd not frozen the waterfall he'd connected the two sides!

"Ligeia! Coinne cai!" He called, hopping up and down in place.

Ligeia tilted his head to the side as he walked over to the ice bridge then looked it over before nodding, opening his wings up just in case he had to fly up off the bridge and he started across it. It made a sort of creaking sound but luckily for him, and for Vorel's pride, Ligeia weighed very little so the bridge was able to hold his weight all the way across, "Ah! Very good Vorel." He said, smiling up at the Frost Dragon.

Perilas stood to get a better look at the ice bridge that Vorel had made. "Good job," he praised the dragon, eyeing the creature for a moment. "That's good enough for today. You've gotten the concept down rather well, so just some practicing will help you build some stamina for your attack."

Vorel looked up at the teacher with a sort of wide eyed confusion before he looked at the waterfall, but he hadn't gotten to freeze it over yet! He wasn't sure if he could yet but none the less... Perilas had told him to freeze it hadn't he?

Ligeia looked up at Vorel before looking back to the teacher, "We can come back later to try again?" He asked, as if reading his dragons mind. Vorel wouldn't want to allow the waterfall to win the battle. He would want to come back and win out against it, would freeze it over!

Perilas grinned at the boy. "Sure. I'll put down a note so that a tech'll know to let you in at some point." Well, he couldn't say that they wouldn't try anything.

"Alright, that sounds good. Thank you!" Ligeia said looking up at Vorel who seemed to have been pacified by that.

That meant that they could come back here and practice him freezing the waterfall! And he would get it one of these days too! They would have to find the teacher then to drag him here to show him Vorel thought to himself, tails swishing seeming to picture what the waterfall would look like frozen over.

Peri nodded, reminding himself to write that note as soon as he got to his office or else he'd forget. He herded boy and dragon out of the room before switching off the lights.
