Gavin Duvert
Gavin was laying sprawled out on a couch in the lobby. He had to get out of the house. Simon and his two new babies were driving everyone up the wall, Mother was busy as always, Father had taken off to some island somewhere for a enw job, and Purrpurr had forbid him to go near Fa'e HQ again. Not that he would usually care, but Fa'e HQ frankly creeped him out.

Rellen was out the office, thankfully, so Gavin had finally decided to come and waste time here after Kamiki had refused his request for gold to blow at Barton Town.

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania slipped into the clinic yawning. She was up late the night before trying to finish up last minute things for the class she taught the next morning.

Pulling her hair up into a ponytail she arched a brow "Hmm this place is really quite...." shruging she smiles seeing there was someone here. But it wasn't anyone she knew. Pulling her headphone from her bag she placed them on as she flipped though her mp3 player as she walked towards a chair close to the couch.

Gavin Duvert
Gavin's ears swiveled towards the clinic door as it opened and a bell jingled. He lazily opened a purple eye to see who had came in. It was someone he'd seen around the clinic, but never talked to. He watched the beautiful young woman walk over, taking a seat near the couch. His ear flicked instinctively in annoyance that she did say hi to him.

Normally he would shoot off some sarcastic comment about manners, but instead he simply sat up and smiled at her. Funny thing, how recently females seemed to bring out the good side in him. "Hello there, lovely lady," he purred out.

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania looked up, thankfully she hadn't turned the music up. She smiles her wings fluttering alittle pulling her headphone off and placing them around her neck. "Hi, sorry I thought you were tuned into your reading. So I didn't want to bug you." she crosses her legs fixing her faded pants leg before holding her hand out to him "I'm Tinania, but you can call me Nani.."

Gavin Duvert
Gavin took her hand in his, shook it gently, and let his claws linger on her skin for a moment. He smiled, dashingly as he could muster, and nodded to her. "Nice to meet you, Nani. My name is Gavin." He swung his legs around so he was sitting up on the couch properly.

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania smiles her cheeks alittle rosy as she pulled her hand away placing them in her lap "Pleasure to meet you Gavin." she pushed a few pieces of hair that fell from into her face looking at him. She wasn't going to admit outloud, but he was cute.

Gavin Duvert
(( o-O @ Kaioto ))

"So what's a pretty lady like you doing in a place like this? You're from here, weren't you? I mean, you know, my mother's your doctor and all?"

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania giggles hiding her face alittle with her hand, mostly to hide the blush forming on her cheek. "Yea I'm a GMFC child, and your mother must br Dr. Kamiki, if I'm right. As far as what I'm doing her, just really hanging out. I didn't feel like being at home right now. My mums at work like always." she shrugs pull her headphone off tossing them back into her bag before looking back to him. "So what you doing here?"

Kamiki
"Oh, I'm just bored and wating around here for some gorgeous lady to come in." He grinned and moved to sit on the arm of the couch, leaning towards her. "I'm just bored, My house is so ... dramatic. Yeah, "Dr. Kamiki" still sounds weird to me. She doesn't act much like a doctor when she's not here."

Red_Rayn
Rayn puts her drawing book away and gets a bag of cookies out of her bag and begins to nibble on one.
After eating one cooky she smiles and asks if anyone els wants one

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania smirks as she leans back in the chair to play with her belly ring "A pretty lady huh? Hmmm when I see one I point her your way.." she winks then shrugs "Ah being bored, that never fun. When I get bored I go swimming or clubbing. You should try those, at least the clubbing, its fun."

Gavin Duvert
Gavin looked interested. "Clubbing, hmm?" Clubbing must have been one of those activities his mother conveinantly forget to ever mention to him the multiple times he had complained about being bored. THis probably meant it was something she didn't want him to do, and therefore would probably be a lot of fun. "Tell me about that," Gavin let his eyes linger on her belly-button ring for a moment, before a small voiced offered him cookies.

He looked over, took one, and then took another and held it out to Nani.

Red_Rayn
puts the rest of the cookies back in her bag, then sits back quietly and smiles with joy that someon acknoledged her

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania takes the cookie offering a nod of thank to both Gavin and the girl who gave offer them. Taking a quick bite of the cookie she smiles "Clubbing is where you can go dancing, hang out with your friends, and if your old enough drinking. But I think we both have a awhile to wait on that. I go almost every weekend if I'm able. You should come one time, I think you get a kick out of it." she smiles "At least from the way you seem interested in knowing about it I think you would.."

Kia Ryou
Elliot walked into the clinic to drop something off for his mother. When he saw Tinania. He gluped and was about to talk to her, but she saw Gavin had gotten to her fiurst. He muttered mothing under his breath. While filling out the papers at the front desk.

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania smiles placing and hand on his knee "Okay we should be going tomorrow, so if you free you can come with us.." she looks over hears the door then smiles waving to Elliot "Elliot!! Hey come join me and Gavin." she smiles motioning him over.

Gavin Duvert
Gavin smiled at her touch. "Great, its a deal!"

His head turned as she waved at a newcomer. His ears flattened alittle noticing it was another guy, but he tried to remain polite anyway. "Hello, Elliot," he said, parroting the name Nani was saying.

Kia Ryou
Elliot practicaly jumped out of his skin when he heard the blonde call him over. " O-oh kay..." He said fumbling with the papers. He was signing. After handing them to the cleark the read headed boy walked over to the two. " Hi...Tinani..." he looked at the boy. " Um, Hi."

((Confused? Continued from this story in Purr's old journal.))

Mordath nodded slowly, his cheeks wet with salty, remorseful tears. He wished that there was some other way - some other way to make her happy again and not lose... so much. So much of the good along with the bad. But, he reminded himself again - there had been so little genuine good in this life. This really was... the only way. He took a breath and looked down at the spell again, mentally going over what exactly would need to be said, the proper inflections. He glanced around the room and made sure the proper components would be available. Finally, he broke his gaze with her and put himself into the mindset of the magus. There was work to be done.

He stepped to the door, slid the lock into place and gathered up a small mirror, filled two dixie cups with water and set them on the bedside tables to either side of her. He poured out the water from the vase where flowers had been set besides her, and crushed the flowers in his hands, sprinkling the crushed petals over her forehead, and then over her figure still wrapped in the thin hospital linens. He reached up and disabled the smoke alarm, and withdrew some sticks of insence from his billous robes, putting the ends in the water cups. With a glace, a small spark jumped to life at the ends, and the smoke was begining to trail lazily upwards from them.

Finally, he turned back to PurrPurr once again and handed her the mirror. Look into this mirror and do not remove your eyes from it no matter what you do. Try to look deep into your own eyes, focus on the spirit that lays within; clear your thoughts and focus on that ancient soul within you.

Purr swallowed nervously, hesitant to take her eyes off Mordath. What was going to happen to her? Had she really been thinking abuot killing herself just a few hours ago. She didn't want to die... she didn't want to leave Kamiki or Mordath or Simon... maybe she was making a mistake...

She tried to voice her hestitation, but her thought suddenly felt filled with cotton. Nasty images of Morion and Roth locked in a passionate embraced filled her head and she squeezed her eyes shut. Her heart ached and she new, deep in her soul, that a repeat of last night would be the death of her. She took a deep breath and focused on the mirror, tears spilling silently over onto her cheeks, her shoulder's trembling slightly

Mordath steeled himself as he returned his gaze once more to the book open before him. He was just casting a spell... that was all - something that needed to be done. Before he allowed himself to let regret or hestitation hold him back, the words were already forming on his lips. The voice that filled the room hardly sounded like Mordath's. It was a silky wavering puzzle that seemed to be speaking with several voices at once. Sometimes almost sounding like the ancient fey tongue, sometimes like English, and yet never either of them - the tones almost sounded familiar to her as she listened, but the words themselves did not - the stream even difficult to differentiate where one word stopped and the next began. But it struck a deep chord within her - something universal - a sound that inherantly contained Power. The sound - almost a music - filled her, resonated in her, and warmed her. The powerful, resonating noise seemed to mesh with Mordath's own boiling Aura, now freed to the room and a second wave hit her. This time, the warmpth, the heat filled her to the brim and she could feel no emotion save for this mind-washing white heat. But it did not burn - it energized. Her eyes were locked on the mirror - and her vision tunneled, to just the mirror, then to just her eyes, and then to the depths of her pupils - seeing deeper.. deeper... her body was becoming light, but she could hardly notice - her mind was so focused. Everything was becoming light... simpler...

There were colors at the edges of her vision, movement and fluttering as, with a final booming note Mordath's voice ceased suddenly - and there was an explosion of color and energy that eminated from PurrPurr's form and myriad brightly colored red and purple and black butterflies of the purest energy fled from her, taking away her mass, lengths of her hair, her wings. The fragile "creatures" disappeared almost as suddenly as they came to being, leaving behind a young girl sitting in the bed, clutching a mirror between her small hands.

The much younger looking Purrpurr sat in the hospital bed, blinking a few times at the pretty mirror ahead of her. Where was she? What was she doing here? A confused look swept over her features, the mirror falling to her lap as her grip on it went lax. Everything smelled funny - she didn't remember coming to a hospital. Or did she? It felt like she had been asleep for a very, very long. Some memories were very clear and vivid, though they seemed far away. And other snippets of memories fluttered in the forefront of her mind - like trying to a remember a dream.

She then looked over a Mordath, her eyes going as large as saucers for a moment. Fear of unrecognition flashed in her eyes, but then she squinted, confused. In a small, uncertain, and entirely childlike voice, she asked, "... M...Mordath...?"

Mordath returned the smile, albeit tainted with a bit of bitterness. He had never cast this spell before to be perfectly honest. He had researched it literally a lifetime ago to add to his massive repoitoire, but never thought he would use it .... to save someone. He wasn't completely sure how it would work. He was able to influence how young it made her, however - and he made sure to set it to a time after she had technically been a "plant". He wasn't sure when Titania's soul had come into her small body, and was careful to make sure it was after she had been "awakened" - but the time was approximate. He had secretly hoped that she would at least remember something of him... and it appeared that those silent thoughts had been overheard by some gracious deity.

"Yes.... yes, it's me, PurrPurr.... Brother Mordath." He spoke with the childhood whisper, althought he had a hard time keeping the quiver form his voice. He licked his fingers and quickly extinguished the incence before the smell might drift into the hallway and draw attention from the orderlies and went and knelt by her bedside. "You've.... been asleep for some time, honey.... but I would like to take you home..."

Purr crawled out from under the hospital blanket, her flimsy gown draping loosely over her now small form. "You're so big, Mordath," she crawled over to the edge of the bed and reached out with her small hand to touch his face. She didn't understand why it looked familiar, as clearly the last time she saw him he was a chubby little boy with a giant red flower on his head. Then she looked around him, down on the floor, and behind his back suspiciously. "Where's Evil Teddy," she said with a pout. Whatever had happened to her she was NOT in the mood to be chased by a stuffed toy right now.

His smile stayed on his face as he felt a strange mix between sadness and happiness for her. There was no pain behind this young voice. It was almost eerie - as he he himself had stepped back in time, remembering the childish torments he had brought on her - chasing her around with the teddy bear, refusing to pretend to drink non-existant tea. "No, Purr - he's... he's back at home in my room" The smile crept a bit higher on his lips - he did still have the teddy bear, up on a shelf, and a reminder that he had not been a child that long ago - despite the long stretch of memories in his mind.

"Okay, that's good then." She sat up on her kneed on the bed and help her arms out to him expectantly. "You take me home?"

"I certainly will" Mordath murmured as he picked her up. While Mordath was certainly not physically strong by most standards, the young child was light in his arms. A flickering anxiety now passed through his mind as he now thought to Kamiki... and what her reaction was sure to be. He swallowed, imagining the fury of the kitsune woman when her beautiful young woman returned to her like this. He feared he would not be able to get a word in edgewise to try to explain how this was necessary.... perhaps he could point young PurrPurr towards her door and disappear to his room for a bit, raising the wards, to allow for her temper to cool... but would that be the right thing...? Did it matter anymore with all of the shades of grey that this situation as a whole painted with? He put away his spellbook and held her tight, pressing her face into his soft robes so as to not surprise her, he quickly murmured the familiar teleportation spell to return them home. The last thing he needed was questions from the doctors.

With a stomach-lurching wave and the rushing of wind and popping of ears, they were standing in the foyer of Sabin's (and now Kamiki's as well) Manor in Durem.

Purr's eyes went wide in surprise at the sudden change of location. Her faced scrutched up and she clapsed her hands over her ears. "WHAT DID YOU DO!" She looked wearily up the building. "Dis is Sabin's howse." She said matter-of-factly.

Mordath couldn't help but smile a bit at the childish matter-of-fact accusations. "I just brought us home really quickly. Makes things much easier, don't you think? And.. ah... Kamiki is here at the moment" I'll let her explain the details, he thought to himself. "I'll take you to her" Mordath held to her as he climbed the large stairway and took a right, hearing the clacking of nails on keyboard that indicated that Kamiki was most likely at her computer compulsively checking up on "her forums." Setting PurrPurr down gently, he gestured to the doors. "She should be right in there" He said with a whisper and a smile, backing up a few paces to give her room... and remove himself from a direct line of sight when the doors would be opened.

Purr smiled at Mordath, picking up on the "surprise" aura of her returning home. She pushed open the doors with a mighty heave. "MAMA!!!" She rushed in, arms held open wide.

Kamiki's ears swiveled around, picking up on some sounds behind the door. Sounded like Mordath might be home. Good, she wondered where he was gone off to, and if he knew were Purr was. But then the door slammed open and she heard something barreling in towards her. She spun her computer chair just in time to see a very small version of her beautiful young adult daughter land heavily in her lap and swing her arms around Kamiki's neck.

Kamiki's first reaction was that she was in a hosital gown. Suddenly very afraid, she pulled Purr back and looked her over, her jaw hitting the floor. It was Purrpurr allright, but obviously MUCH younger. But Kamiki knew she wasn't going completely crazy, because she looked nothing like her daughter once looked as a child. The fa'e where a constantly-changing race, and Purr looked simply like a younger version of youth-self, just without her grand wings.

"Purr-purr, honey? What happened??" When she remembered the muffled voice of Mordath she heard seconds before the door opened. Scooping the child up in her arms before she had a chance to answer, Kamiki stalked over to the door, stepping out into the hallway. "MORDATH?!"

Mordath was just begining to walk quietly away from the door when the Scream of his name caught him and the presence of the furious woman behind him caught him. He involuntarily cringed - still associating the voice in the back of his mind with that of a "parent" - then chastized himself immediately afterwards for reacting like this - he was Mordath after all - Future KING of the feyrealm if he had anything to say about it. Stiffening and spinning and doing his very best to put on a confident, knowing expression with a cross of his arms in front of him, the facade melted as he saw the concern and worry behind Kamiki's eyes in addition to the anger. His shoulders slumped in sympathy as he held up his hands. "I can explain..." He started.

"YOU BETTER!" She screamed. Meanwhile, Purr's face was scrunching up in a scared/nervous expression like she was about to cry. They way all children get when they hear her parent's screaming. She didn't know what happened, or what she did wrong, but she wrenched herself away from Kamiki and rushed back over to Mordath, buring her face into his hip.

Kamiki's ears dropped down as she saw the upset child, guilt rising in her chest. But something BIG was going on and she wanted to know what.

Mordath kneeled down and put comforting arms around the child. Speaking to her first before Kamiki "It's alright, child. You did nothing wrong... shhh... it's okay.... But I need to talk with mommy for a little bit privately. Why don't you go knock on that door over there-" *He nodded to Gavin's room* "and say "hello" to the person in there" He said with an encouraging smile before straightening and turning a serious expression to Kamiki.

"Why don't we go have a seat, Kamiki... there is much that needs to be discussed"

Purr sniffed and wiped her eyes (and nose) on Mordath's shirt as she nodded. She gave a very sad look to Kamiki then toddled off to the door.

After a moment, Gavin opened it up, looking straight over Purr before looking down. "What the ******** style="color: darkred">Purr clasped her hands over her mouth, a look of utter scandal crossing her face. Kamiki's ears went straight back as she put her hands on her hips, shooting a very nasty look to Gavin. "I'll explain later - and watch your mouth, young man! Now take her and go in your room. NOW!"

Gavin shot his mother an angry look, but held the door open for the little girl to wander in. With a loud slam, the door closed behind him.

Kamiki mimiced the actions of her son, holding the door to her study open, giving Mordath a look that clearly said he should go have seat. Quickly.

Mordath tried to keep the smile from his face at the young boy's antics, and thought in the back of his mind that Gavin should make a suitable replacement for the torments that Mordath had bequeathed upon young PurrPurr as a child. Catching Kamiki's stern look, however, he quickly scooted into the room and sat down in one of the couches. Where to start.

With a deep, heaving breath, he began "I.. I am sure you have noticed some of the troubles that PurrPurr has been going through recently, though I am not sure how informed you have been... I myself hadn't been completely aware of just everything that had gone wrong until this afternoon..." Mordath began explaining things that were hard to put words to - how Purr's life had begun a downward spirial - from the first time Mordath left her, to Oberon, and finally to Prom - with the anger seething into his voice very clearly at this point. Finally, he told her of the aftermaths, when Purr found out about Astaroth and Morion, and .. how he found her that morning, in the bathroom.

Kamiki listened, her anger quickly melting away to concern and remorse. Mordath was right, she had noticed how depressed Purr had been in the past. But Purr had never mentioned to her about Oberon. But the anger began to swell in her chest as Morion was mentioned again. She was already NOT happy that Purr and Morion had decided to start repairing the relationship that caused her to run away to the fey realm to begin with. She twisted a pillow in her hands, tears streaking down her face as Mordath broke the news that she had tried to take her own life.

"Oh god, Mordath... You have no idea how glad I am you found her in time..."

Mordath swallowed a lump and nodded. He was having trouble keeping his voice steady, and had given up on keeping the tears from his cheeks. "I am too.... I... I was lucky that I was so close by... and that I was at a lull in the chanting.... If I had not found her quite so soon...." He paused, not liking to think about it "then my magics would have been powerless to do anything at that point."
"I... I cast my magic to make her like this..... I must warn you... it is not a "temporary" fix. She is young again in mind and body, and does not remember anything "after" this point in her life. Her memories of her past life will surely return to her again as they did before. Honestly, I do not know if the ones from this life ever will or not. This spell... is a very ancient and powerful one - and I had never had the reason to cast it before. I wish there could have been another way... but I feared if I did not then she would try to take her life again... I could not give her what she truly wanted.... but perhaps, starting over again... she might have a chance..." He gave her a small, hopeful smile.

Kamiki rested with her head in her hands, her long fingers tangled up in her lavander hair. She didn't want to admit to herself that her daughter had been so close to dying. Even worse- taking her own life. She was thankful Mordath was there to save her - but the implications of her being a child again...

...but would it really be all that bad? After all, she knew now what mistakes to aviod. And who to aviod. "Morion is never coming NEAR my daughter again. I want you to make sure of that, Mordath."

Mordath's expression darkened at the mention of his name "fear not, Kamiki. I had NO intentions of letting him. Especially if she still remembers him as a boy, she might wish to - but I don't want to see him hurt her a third time."

"Does she remember him? they... they were such good friends. He would play tea and ride horses with her. You know. All the girly stuff that you wouldn't." A bitter look of realization and amusement passed her features. "of course that might explain the whole gay thi-" she cut her sentence short, looking quickly over to Mordath apologeticaly. "Sorry - I'm just bitter. I didn't mean..."

A downwards pull tugged at Mordath's lip as he nodded. "It's alright... I can understand your frustration." He shrugged with a sigh. "I just hope... this time around.... " he gestured vaguely. "Perhaps she will find the happiness she desperately needs"

"I'll be more protective of her, thats for sure." Kamiki paused, thinking for a moment. "Does she know? What happened to her, or why?"

Mordath shook his head "No... as far as she knows, she's been 'asleep'. But that's the extent of it. I... I thought it best. You are welcome to tell her if you think it better.... but.." Mordath gave a hesitant wince "It might get awkward, especially for her childlike mind to understand"

"Maybe when she's older.. I don't want her making the same mistakes twice."

Mordath nodded "I agree."

"I guess I should go talk to her, huh?"

Modath nodded again, standing this time. "I think that would be the best." He gave her a kind smile and squeezed her shoulder. "It will be alright now, I think. She needs your loving more than anything else right now."

Kamiki pulled Mordath into a hug, letting the relief rush over her. Trying to compose herself, she quickly went to Gavin's door. She and her daughter had a lot to talk about.

Kochi had woken up more energized then ever. She had a mission, a job to do. And part of that was to wake up today and to take the kids out. She had promised them to take them to the GMFC, well, she had promised her daughter Winifred. She had been spending lots of time there, and wanted her mother to join her in one of these escapades. Kochi of course demanded she bring her younger brother along. It was only fair, afterall. So just a few minutes after dusk when she woke up, she garbed herself in what her daughter declared as, 'Normal Adult Clothes'. It consisted of a black shirt, olive pants as well as a long black overcoat. The vampire added her glasses to this ensemble, and left the house with her children in tow.

Winny, of course, was delighted to be a part of this outing. It was her idea. She had on her backpack, and in her arms was her coveted stuffed animal she had named so inappropriately Puppy. (( http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a220/Imarocketman/Mortimer/Winifred/3set02ver1_ark_kochikens02.gif ))
Her most prized possession was the last part of her almost completely pink outfit, and she didn't seem bothered by the fact that they were going out at night, either. Or even with her stupid mutant brother. It was all the same. And as they arrived at the GMFC Lobby, she was the first one to fly through the doors with her mothers hand in her and pull her to a couch to sit.

Mortimer was obviously the least pleased to be in this situation. He hated going out, especially with his stupid prissy sister and his mother. It wasn't bad enough they were going out, but they were going to Winifreds prissy hang out where there were most obviously going to be all humans and no Fa'e. He entered with heavy shoulders to lean against the wall, just waiting for something to happen. The fact that he was hoping that something might be Winny slipping and breaking an arm was not spoken, but it was thought.

Kamiki was in her office, finishing up the paperwork of the day, and hoping she would be able to leave before it got too late. Gavin was with her, reluctantly there to watch over Purrpurr, who Kamiki had yet to secure a full-time sitter for yet. Simon was now too busy with his own children, and Gavin was old enough he could look after her.

Gavin had been thrilled with the prospects of being the "Big" sibling at first, but now he wasn't so excited. He never signed on to be her babysitter in the first place. And she was so freaking.. prissy. When the bell jingled indicated someone had entered the Lobby, Kamiki gritted her teeth and made a silent prayer that it wasn't another illerate begging for a free appointment. Her staff was way overbooked as it was.

Gavin on the other hand was excited. LIFE! The clinic had been empty for the last couple hours and he was dying of boredom. He rushed out the office to take a look, Purr, not wanting to leave her "new" brother's side, followed closely behind.

Kochi did not sit, instead she decided to inspect the clinic for life other then small children. She remembered this place from before Winny or Elle were born, she recalled filling out so many forms and having to write till her wrist hurt. She, however, did not remember where the multiple rooms and where the people were. So she took to wandering around, looking for rooms which contained people, and finding a door to what must of been an office as it was labled, "Kamiki's Office." The name was faintly familiar, although she couldn't put a name to the face. The door was open as Gavin and PurrPurr had just left, and she spied the purple fox woman and smiled broadly. "Hello there!"

Winifred spotted Gavin, and to say she was delighted was an understatement. She jumped up from the couch and onto her feet, racing across the room to him. Her hand shot out and grabbed his in a handshake before he could even make a move to protest. "Hello! My name is Winifred! What's yours?" She spurted out quicker then one would think a human looking girl could speak.

The Fa'e was not amused, however. Looking around the room, she spied a little girl standing behind the boy who his snot headed sister had aprehended. He pitied him, but not enough to stop anything. But the girl behind the boy looked faintly familiar, as if he had seen her in a picture. Ruffling wings behind him, he felt a connection with her, a feeling he only knew he felt with Fa'e. A smile lightened upon his face, and he waved meekly to her.

Kamiki blinked, not used to having people just walk into her office without being invited, but to be honost she was thankful for the distraction. The woman was miss Kochikens, one of the mothers of Winni and Elle. And.. Kamiki was pretty sure she was a vampire or something.

Hmm. Maybe she was having second thoughts.

Mustering up a smile and setting down her pen, she stood, offering her hand to the woman. "Hello, I'm Dr. Kamiki. May I help you with anything?"

In the main room, Gavin's eyes widened at the enthusiam the little girl showed, but didn't complain. On the contrary, he gave the most dashing smile the handsome young boy could muster and returned the handshake enthusiastically. "Nice to meet you, Winifred! Why aren't you the pretty one?" Oh yes. He was all that and a bag of chips. At least if you asked him he was.

Purr watched the pink young woman with a smile, liking the color pink herself, but Gavin stepped in front of her, hipping her out of the way. Crossing her arms with a little puff, she looked around to see a kitty waving at her. She felt a pull in her blood... was he a fa'e?

She wandered over him excitedly, giving a curtsy as she got close. "Hello!"

Kochi shook her head to the question, "No, i'm good. My daughter dragged I and her brother here to visit, Dank." In her rough german voice she thanked her with the last word, and with an ice cold hand she shook the other womans hand, being glad to put a face to the name. She recalled seeing her before, and remembered her being quite kind.

Oh, Winny found this Gavin absolutely charming! Blushing darkly, although it barely showed on her tanned skin she giggled bashfully. "Oh, why thankyou." Being bashful was too hard for her, though, because she already knew just how pretty she was. "You haven't told me your name, though." To this she added a frown, pulling her hand out of his and eyeing him with suspicion. Perhaps he was really a handsome and charming spy sent after her. That was no good, she had to know his name before she could trust him.

Morty looked to the little girl, finding it off that she curtsied. He had never before been curtsied to. That was new. Pulling the headphones off from his head and letting them hang around his neck, he made a move to bow as he had seen on television but decided against it. "Hey, my names Morty. What's yours?"

Kamiki smiled back, trying not to be taken aback by the frigidness of her hand. She knew vampires existed in Gaia, but she had never made conversation with one. "Oh, I see. Well, take a seat," she said, offering a chair in front of her desk. She went to the locked liquer cabinent and pulled a key from her labcoat to open it. "Would you like a dri...." she trailed off.. suddenly feeling veyr silly.

In the lobby, Gavin gave a mock look of horror. "I'm so sorry, m'lady." Right, play the charming act you learned from your father. Gavin gave a Victorian bow, "My name is Gavin Duvert, please excuse my rudeness."

Purr looked very excited to be meeting someone new. She was smiling and batting her eyes. "My name is Purrpurr" she said. "Are you a fa'e? You look like a big kitty!"

Kochi chuckled, obviously amused. "Actually, i'd love some Whiskey if you have any. I can't drink it, but I adore the smell." She was used to any reactions she recieved, and was atleast glad she was being kind. Her long, black draconic tail coiled around her leg as she took the chair, folding the wings on her head back against her hair. She had however seen odder things in Gaia, just a few days ago she heard of a Sasquatch living in a local academy.

Winny fancied the idea of being called M'lady. She did fancy it indeed, it suited her. A sly grin crossing her face, tapping a finger against his chest. "You're very daper, aren't you?" She said this, after hearing the word being spoken by someone in a romance movie she once saw. This wasn't so hard, and she was restraining a giggle once he bowed.

"I am a Fa'e." He said proudly, standing up straight and tall. "But i'm not a kitty." Morty scowled, glaring a bit at her. He used to believe he was a kitty, but now he knew better. He was no kitty, he was a demon. But he didn't need to tell her that.

Kamiki gave an apologetic smile and poured her a small glass of whiskey, then a martini for herself. She handed the woman the glass and sat down behind her large desk, reclining back in the chair a bit. "How's your daughter?" she asked.

Gavin smiled proudly at himself. He had no idea what 'daper' meant, but by the way she said it, it sounded like a good thing to him. Closing his eyes breifly, mostly to hide the slight glow in them, he reached behind his back and summoned up a clump of shadow. As he pulled his hand back around, he opened his eyes as the shadows formed into the shape of a rose. He grinned at himself, and presented the black flower to her. "Forgive the color," he said.

Purrpurr seemed delighted to meet a fa'e her age. The only other fa'e she had met were her big brother, Mordath, and a big fuzzy guy named Silver. Why were so many of the fa'e furry? "But you look like a kitty," she said, frowning at the scowl. "You're fuzzy and you have ears and a tail. ... i.. I like kitties?" She added, trying to cheer him up.

Kochi took the drink in her hand, leaning back in the chair and resting her hand on her stomach so that it wafted up to her face. The woman smiled faintly as the scent crawled up into her nostrils, filling her throat and her lungs with a sort of warmness that always came with alcohal. A sigh drifted from her lips as she looked back up to Kamiki, tipping her glasses up her nose absent mindedly. "Hmm? Oh, Winifred is doing wonderfully. Quite the enthusiastic little girl." She added a toothy smile, all 8 of her elongated teeth showing.

Winny giggled delightedly, placing a hand to her chest as she took the rose. An arm was thrown around Gavin, and she placed a little kiss of thanks on his cheek before withdrawing to examine the rose. "Oh, it's lovely! Not pink, but very pretty." Not as pretty as me, she thought to herself. This Gavin fellow was quite nice, and she decided that she liked him very much. Not all boys were like her mutant brother, afterall.

"I like kitties too. I used to think I was a cat." He did feel much better, flicking a tail behind himself. "What are you?" Morty asked, noting that purple and red with wings and a feather on their forehead usually wasn't the normal for a person. But the Fa'e were different, afterall.

Kamiki smiled back, the teeth thing not phasing her much. She had gotten used to Sabin's Anju form by now, so now that she was convinced the woman was nice enough not to her drink her blood, she began to feel much more relaxed. "Thats good to hear. Not having, er... any complications like her sister, then?"

Gavin was proud of himself, but the hug and the peck on his cheek took him a bit by surprise. He has certainly never had a girl do that before. He hoped he wasn't blushing (but he was). He didn't know what to say after that. So he just smiled awkardly.

Purr pulled herself up on one of the couches in the clinic, patting the cushion next to her. "If you're not a kitty, then what are you?" She ran her laps over her lap, smoothing the creases in her dress. "I'm a fairy," she said, "Mom said I used to be a queen. But that was a long time ago, and they don't have queens anymore. But I'm still as special as one."

Kochi shook her head, "No, thankfully. Eats plenty, likes to lay in the sun and get tans." She mused, quite pleased with what she was saying. "Even talks about being a vet." Which of course was ironic to her, seeing as she had taken up eating kittens. She snapped back, raising her head to ask a question of the kind doctor. "And yours?" Kochi racked her head for a name, trying to remember what she had heard once. "Gavin, right? How's Gavin?"

Winny could of answered that question with ease. But instead she was standing there with a dumb struck Gavin, who was blushing visibly. She giggled at his state, not being able to help but feel sorry for him. The girl took him by the hand and lead him to a couch, sitting down next to him still holding the flower. "What, never been kissed by a girl before?"

"I.. I..." Morty nearly choked on the words, sitting down beside PurrPurr. He hated to say it, and he barely believed it, but he knew it. "I'm supposed to be the reincarnation of a demon." He fumbled on the words, holding his paws and twiddling his thumbs anxiously. He looked over to her, forcing a smile. "It must be nice to be a queen."

Kamiki rolled her eyes. "He's as much trouble as always. But he's got ten fingers and ten toes, seems healthy enough. They grow like weeds."

Gavin still didn't really know what to say, and he let the girl pull him dumbly to the couch. He looked over to him, blushing harder, a bit in embarassment. "Er...no, I guess I haven't. You know, besides like.. my mom and stuff, you know, like that..." Gavin realized he sounded pretty stupid, so he just shut up.

Meanwhile, Purr cocked her head. "A demon? Really? I thought demons were susposed to be mean and ugly. You're neither." She smiled, her legs swining off the side of the couch. "I'm not a queen anymore, but Mommy says that was a good thing because queens are rich and spoiled SO bad that they became someone no one likes. Mom says I'm spoiled and rich enough without being a queen."

A deep throated chuckle emitted from Kochi, similar to her gluttural accent. "Ah, that's true. I remember, it seems just the other day when Winny and her sister were on the floor in diapers." She smiled fondly, although she didn't want to think too much about it. Painfull memories as well. "Winifred isn't so much as trouble, but more..." She paused, scratching her chin as she thought of a good way to put it. "Cultured. She watches MTV and reads those Star magazines." She spoke as if those things were totally alien to her, for they were. TV was still a new concept, and the idea of her daughter being hooked on it was even odder.

Winny examined the flower in her hands intenseley, saving Gavin the embaressment of having to try to speak anymore by asking him a question. "How'd you do that? The flower thing?" She held the flower up to the light, trying to get a closer look.

Morty grinned, clucking his tongue in amusement. "Ah! It sounds nice anyways. Perhaps being a king would be better. Well, better then being a demon anyways." He shrugged his shoulders, tapping a claw on the ground. "I'm glad you know what you are. So many of the Fa'e do. I don't, but I don't really care."

Kamiki nodded. She didn't press, as she knew there were issues behind why Winni and her sister were seperated. "Ah, I see. Gavin's...well, he's not really in to too much TV and stuff, though he does like video games. He had a violent streak, but I guess all boys do sometimes."

Though Gavin didn't seem very violent at the time. Happy at the change of topics, Gavin went back to smiling smugly. "Oh, my Dad taught me. I can shape shadow into things. Pretty cool, huh?"

Purr meanwhile shrugged her shoulders. "I kind of remember it, but not really. Mom says I probably dreamed about it when I was sleeping. I was sleeping for a long time, thats why all my old friends got so big."

He ran his hands over it, feeling the somewhat leathery texture over the pads of his fingers. He smiled. Mom had promised him a real dragon lay inside. That would definitely be a pet he could live with. He wondered what it would look like, though the egg''s shell, so he was told, did give a hint of what the baby would look like. The egg was purple and golden, but of course there were so many different kinds of dragons. He wondered what his would look life. Fierce and mean? Beautiful and majestic?

Only time would tell, or so the saying went. Gavin picked up a pen and grabbed the journal his mother had bought him. She swore up and down these things help you get all your thoughts together. Turning the pen over in his clawed hands, he began to write.

Gavin''s Journal
Dear diary Journal,

I guess its about time I started this, huh? Uh.. I guess I don''t really know what to say. Weird s**t happens all the time in this house, I swear. My "big" sister Purrpurr, well, she''s little again. How bizarre. Apparently, she tried to kill herself and Mordath had to change her to save her. Whatever.. I guess its weird. I mean, my life has been pretty undramatic compared to hers. She''s a different race than I, she''s adopted. She''s a fa''e, and they are prone to drama and super-sensitive emotions. At least that''s what mom has told me. They live their whole life in a year or two, normally, so apparently that year is a race to find either true love or true purpose. So apparently when more than half your time on this world is spend for a boyfriend who dumps you for some other guy (yes, apparently she was dating a fudge-packer), it''s pretty dramatic. So Mordath, my other fa''e brother, turned her back into a kid so she could start over.

Weird, I''m telling you. Weird.

As for me... I guess... I dunno. School is going slow, and I didn''t get the scroll I wanted. Kamiki was pretty disappointed. Not in me, she says I have way too much potential to be in a school and not be a summoner. But whatever. I''m out of the dorms for now and enjoying my time home.

I''ve been thinking about girls. A lot. I suppose that''s normal, but they are so .. mysterious. I dunno, its like I can''t just figure them out as easy as I used to figure out people. Maybe I''m just strange like that. I like to talk to people and figure out how they think. I like to talk to people and manipulate them. See how they react, what they say. How they think. Like I can pick them apart, and then put them back together they way I see fit. But girls, man.. girls get me distracted.

And they''re hot. What can I say.

Gavin let the pen rest on his lips as his thoughts wondered to some of the women he had encountered recently. Tinania, Whinny, Sati.. all beautiful. His thoughts lingered for a moment, then he turned his attention back to the diary.

Gavin''s Journal
Anyway, I guess I dunno what else to say for now. I''m bored, maybe I''ll run by the clinic and see if anyone is there.
