born_from_silence yeah, something with her mind... but what does her having a "private mind" really mean? im wondering if there's more to bells's mind that hasn't been revealed yet. like it said that when edward was human, he could unconsiously hear people's thoughts and when he became a vampire it became stronger. so what if there's some part of bella's mind thats, i don't know, REALLY different? Carlisle actually said that Edward usually knew what people were thinking, as in just being able to guess correctly alot, possibley by faint facial expressions. Bella's gift. *shrug* Maybe her gift of immunity will intensify? And she'll be immune to a broader variety of things? Things other than a vampire's gift?

I hate to even suggest this, but does anyong think she may NOT get a power? Its been stated that the whole vampire power thing is rare, and most times its just a character trait. So maybe, instead of a power, she'll just not be so clumsy? Or something like that?

I think its going to be something with her mind,because edward can't read her mind, but I think its going to be something ultra special, and perhaps it might also be the fact that she isn't clumsy>

didn't you read the epilogue?
bella won't be a vampire for a LONG time anyway...
and she won't be manipulative, either.
her powers will come from her personality as a human.

I'm not sure if this was said because I just skimmed over the posts. But in Twilight Bella said that she could smell the blood. So maybe she will have a really good sense of smell?

Kira135 hpfreak.abby `{|Personally, I think that Bella is immune to vampires because she's not a human, she's some other creature/being.

*Logic*- "Hush Insanity! You have a good point there hpfreak.abby, but if Bella was something besides human why would she have human parents? And wouldn't she know if she were something else?

All the Vampires have a good sense of smell, it's just that Bella get's really nautious[sp?] around blood. in the second book though.. she just goes crazy and could care less if she bleeds or not.

xd Well, I'm the third person to vote no. blaugh Anyway, I agree with hpfreak.abby, as much as I hate to admit it. whee It just seems strange to me that Bella was compared to a zombie so frequently in New Moon. xp
Firstly, she has had many near-death experiences (enough to possibly have one that actually killed her). And there was obviously the period of time when Edward left her, with hopes of her getting a chance to live a regular, human life, but had left her to fend for herself in the process. The fact that she kept putting herself in dangerous situations only adds to that. Also, don't forget that, while Bella doesn't seem like the typical mindless zombie, Edward isn't exactly the typical "only-comes-out-at-night," "sleeps-in-a-coffin" vampire (since he doesn't really sleep at all xd ).
I also have a stupid theory that Bella's already a half-vampire since she's always been really pale or whatever. xp It's not very plausible, but it was just a thought I had. Part of it was that maybe her mother (since she's the albino) is a vampire with really, really, really, really, really good self-control. xd But because of the bite James gave Bella, the whole theory/thought is probably void. sweatdrop

From what I have read I think subtle mind control could be bella's power given her immunity to mind reading by edward and subtle changing of alice's visions

I just think that she might just be completely invincible... I know that most vampires are already like that, but since she is invulnerable to all the other vampires, she might have a waaayyy better version of invincibility

i was thinking two things:
1) shes untouchable through her mind, so maybe shed be unviewable through eyes (in other words she could become invisible)
2) other theory-pretty obvious: not human. theres vampires, werewolves, maybe-i dont know. elves? thats cheesy. someone said zombie. thats slightly....gross? witch? and the more clueless you think your parents are, the more they secretly know. anyone read orson scott card? the enders shadow spinoff, i remember reading something like that.

heart If you loved me... Hmm...It's hard to say...
Perhaps she will get something completely random from her personality. It might be that she will be able to incapacitate peoples minds, or make them inaccessible to vampires with telepathy, like Edward and the Volturi. ...would you donate to my Chyaku Norisu? 13k/64k
