I agree with Kurama Babe and Seriphim. Kurama does seem to be the most adored. Even when I'm searching for Yusuke and Kuwabara (perish the thought), I tend to find more Kurama fansites than anything. -sighs- I've found a bunch with KxH as well but thats another story altogether. We're talking about the overall favorite charry not the overall favorite pairing. Hiei, yes, is a close second. I can only imagine how long it would take to document all of the fans of Kurama and Hiei.
If someone were to actually go through towns and find out on a global scale just how many people did like Kurama compared to Hiei, Yusuke or Kuwabara, I'm pretty sure the numbers would be quite close. Well, more between Kurama and Hiei seeing as there are a bunch of us that adore those two, even as a couple.

Who do I think is the most popular? Probably Hiei because he is the loner-type and I just like him too much to think it's Kurama
Also, most online polls and such tilt towards Kurama, but according to the Shonen Jump popularity poll thing, Hiei won. Yusuke was 2nd and Kurama 3rd. I was actually surprised at that. whee

It is just so weird,
Many Kurama Fanart, Many Sexy Fanart, Many Rabid Shark fembots, Many, Many Kurama stuff!
So while I'm looking in an Search engine for Hiei stuff, there just have to be a hint of Kurama in everything. rolleyes
Now, as a fan I don't like that, because I will very much say that I "love" Hiei more than Kurama.
There was never once a generated search engine where you type in Hiei and just get Hiei stuff. Always, ALWAYS a hint of Kurama somewhere.
@Wyndi: Yes, I noticed people sometimes mistake fandom for the Popularity topic I'm talking about. ^^;
But nothing to worry.
~I'm starting to abandon my fanship, for Hiei, and Like Youko more.
And thats what I mean, Alot of Kurama stuff.

I have noticed that also. Kurama is everywhere. But I still love Hiei better. Hiei will alwas be over Kurama no matter what happens.
