((No worries!! ^_^ ))
Vodka thought about if he was feeling the same way. "Hmm, I am sorry to hear she was dissapointed. I really don't see a difference, I mean being able to fly would be nice but I am just happy to be here anyways." He wiggled his tail and continued, "I am pretty clumsy too, I would probably have bad balance anyways." He put his head down gently and chuckled at the thoughts of him running into a tree.
Vodka glanced at Yonit and thought about how she viewed things so differently, and of course it made him interested. "So when I'm older, am I gonna be more mature and stuff?" It was true, since they had been talking, he wondered if the only way he would be able to understand more mature things was if he himself actually grew as well. He wondered how Yonit was able to feel such thoughts already, and because he didn't understand them, he wanted to learn too. It was probably for the better, though, that he was indeed unaware.

Yonit made a small gentle smile and nodded. "That is quite a good gesture and way of life, for a young foal." She then looked at the clouds, looming around the clear sky. There was doubt in her mind that it would stay this way for very long. Nothing was meant to last, including the clear sky.
After hearing Vodka's next question she made a small sigh and looked back at him, sadness hidden in her deep eyes. "Regrettably, yes. When all grow older maturity starts to follow them. It then flies away as you become of older age and then goes into the stars, looking for a new host."

Vodka's face lit up at her comment, and he didn't feel so dumb finally. He just wanted to impress his friend, and in the beginning he felt completely inferior to her thoughts. He hadn't made any friends yet and he was enjoying her company. He was thankful that he ran into her.
Vodka's face lit up again but in a different way, shocking and showing a bit of fear. "I don't know if I want to grow older now.." He felt his bottom lip quiver, and wasn't sure what thoughts were entering his head. When he saw other adults, they were so carefree, and now he didn't understand why.

Yonit shook her head in disappointment. Not in Vodka, but at herself. She must have scared him. After all he was only a blissfully innocent foal. How could he know. What an imbecile she felt like.
"All must grow older, but it is not punishment," she said, hoping to cheer him up again. "It is a gift to become older and wiser. There is no such of a punishment in age."

Vodka, embarrassed but still wanting to look brave, looked up at her again. He felt himself let out a smile finally, and he said to Yonit, "I think you will be very wise when you are older. I may have to come to you for advice, well if that is ok of course." He playfully giggled, but meant every word.
It seemed to him like the other foal had thoughts constantly on her mind, and Vodka wondered if there was something he could do. "Is there anywhere you would like to go in particular?" He knew the air around them was cold, and that took away many fun possibilities. "I just want you to be able to have fun too." He blushed at her, but felt bad that his mind was so blank.

Yonit made a small smile, her eyes closing, little invisible seeps on happiness coming out from beneath her eyelids. "If you ever need help with any at all, I shall be always there to assist," she said gently. Though she wouldn't tell him all the time what to do. Things in life needed to be sorted out by the two or more in a fit themselves.
Yonit started to ponder her response and then sighed. "Wherever the winds take us is were we go. Bound by their strong meanings a float. They gently guide as at many times. But in a hurry they attack with no halt. So do not fret on where our path takes us, for no matter where we go we will always be here."

Feeling his eyes light up, he nodded to Yonit, "Thank you, I am gratful! I wish there was something I could do to help you..." He pondered for a moment, and then delightfully opened his mouth again. "I hope I can just be here to make you smile and laugh." He wiggled his tail at the joy, knowing although he could be goofy, he loved making others happy.
As he listened to Yonit speak, he realized that she truly was amazing. She may not have seen it herself, but as her words flowed gently out of her mouth, Vodka felt absorbed in the placement of the words. "Wo...Wow." He said, stunned. "I guess here is perfect, then." He smiled.

Yonit gently smiled at Vodka, trying not to falter out a light blush. "You have already, my dear friend," she said happily, her smile beaming with joy.
She then giggled a bit at his response, not expecting him to say it. What she meant was that no matter where they went they would always be on the planet. But it seems he somewhat mistook what she said as for being right here at this place. She did not bother to tell him, not wanting to make him feel bad again. In reality she was okay where ever she went. "Everywhere is perfect, as far as this life goes."

Vodka noticed that Yonit had mentioned the word 'friend'. From all of the other Soquili he had met, none had considered him an actual friend, and Yonit of all Soqs did so! He beamed with joy. At least his goofyness was helpful in some situations. "Thank goodness." He said, lightly.
"Mm everwhere is perfect... though I like right here for now!" He giggled, and wiggled his body to the feeling of a cold gust. "Though, I can't wait for winter to be over. I like the snow, but I like the warm weather too." He nodded to her, and looked up at the frosty sun. "Which do you prefer, Yonit?" He saw the trees move next to him, so he moved closer to try and shield her from the cold gust. "These must be cold and rough on your wings." He said, worried.

Yonit sighed a bit. "Winter is a time of happiness and yet sadness. A time in which children, such as ourselves, play in freedom and frolicking joy as our cares vanish with the wind. Yet at the same time the land becomes barren, frozen with snow. Crops start to whither and so do others, so very slowly. Harsher times make even our mothers and fathers freeze into submission."
She shook her head from her words. Planning to say more she forced herself back. It seemed she forgotten that Vodka was only a foal; though she was as well. To say such things would frighten him. She wanted to teach him, but not in a way that would scare him out of his wits!
"But I enjoy much nicer weather conditions than this," she quickly added, hoping he would accept her direct answer. "I am not too sure about my feathers, but I will manage, do not fret."

Suprisingly, Vodka nodded to her with her first statement, being not as suprised as usual. "Mm, this concept is something my father explained to me a bit ago. I am aware of the changing of the seasons, though for now try to enjoy some of my freedoms and joy." He wondered if Yonit had ever let loose, and forgotten such thoughts.
Thinking about it more, he boldly stated, "It is easy to think about all of these things, but it can sometimes be more worthwhile to just let loose, for from these experiences we may learn more than we had thought about in the first place." He smiled to her and in his head thought about what he stated, which was something his mother had said to him once. It was something that always stuck with him in his mind.
Looking at her feathers worriedly, he kept his smile and said, "As long as you are not feeling too cold from them, that must be good." He chuckled.
