He, on the other hand, had seen the white Jivvin create snow before... Create his own winter wonderland when everything else had already been kissed by the warmth of spring... Or had it been summer?
He shook his head slowly before taking a slight turn in order to trot towards the lake... If the lake was still in that direction, that was.

His breath puffed in front of him and if it hadn't been pointless he would have glared at it. Damn the snow and damn the cold and damn everything that wasn't comfortable and warm.
"This is far more unpleasant than it should be"

"It's you and you're outside... Of course its unpleasant." He smirked as he picked up the pace a bit, trying to keep his body warm ith movement. "If you weren't slow as molasses this might not be so bad... S'good for you to get off of your hindquarter every now and then, Kuro."

This cold, in fact, was not the doing of the white Daewl...mostly. Perhaps just a touch, but more for his own amusement than anything. Quite the opposite of the pair wandering towards the lake, Scion was thoroughly enjoying the bitter cold. He was in the form of Llar for the added warmth that his fur provided, making his way effortlessly over the icy drifts without leaving so much as a pawprint to mark his path.
Life had been rather slow and boring lately. Well, perhaps boring was the wrong word, but slow. He and Zelda were quite happy in their home on the lake, the village and Council were quite happy to leave them alone there, and Klu'chud very rarely misbehaved. Life was peaceful, life was...normal. But life was dull. The distraction of two clumsy Center Jivvins making their way through his forest did not go unnoticed, even from some difference away.
Scion picked up the sound easily from some distance away. The forest was all but silent, muffled beneath the thick snow, and his own footfallts made no sound. The noisy passage of the two Jivvins--not to mention the bold red coat against the white of the snow, especially--hit Scion's senses like a ton of bricks. Initially the white Daewl frowned, slightly miffed by the end to the lovely silence, but one he recognized the voice of the blue Jivvin, he brightened up somewhat.
As if on cue, which, really, it was, a light snowfall began over the area--specifically the area directly above and around the pair of wandering Jivvins in a radius of about thirty feet, with the two directly in the center. The mini-storm quickly grew in strength and severity, strong winds and snow pelting the pair, both simply to see how they might react and to mask Scion's approach, though he did keep out of sight for the most part...just in case.

"Don't start calling me fat." He glared at Aara for a moment. "I get off my a** enough knocking Jhadia around." Or other things around the house but either way he got off his a**.
He was about to say something else when the storm started. His tail wrapped around his legs to keep it from whipping around in the wind as he shifted his ears to block his eyes from most of the wind. " .... this is not natural." And that meant that the white Jivvin had to be around somewhere. Letting his eyes shift he looked around though the snow storm for any sign of the other. White on now wouldn't work but perhaps he could see the rest of Scion. The part Scion couldn't hide.

"There is a large difference between calling someone fat and calling them lazy, my friend." He nodded slowly, movements stopping only when a storm formed from what seemed to have been nothing. The wind whipped against their bodies and he stumbled closer to Kuro, leaning against his friend for warmt. "... We can't stay here. Natural or not, if we stay here we'll be burried.
If Kuro looked at him he'd be able to notice that the generally calm 'aura' was now prickly, flaring up from time to time with frustration. He wasn't going to wind up stuck here all because of some foolish notion that something had been 'off'.

Could he hide? Quite possibly, yes, had he known of Kuro's ability. As it was, Scion did not know, or, quite possibly, did not care. He was enjoying the spectacle from a short five feet from the edge of the storm, seated comfortably amidst a drift of snow and, indeed, pretending to be part of it with the aid of an illusion. The good mood would be clearly visible to Kuro's unique sight, though the exact form that possessed it would be somewhat distorted by Scion's illusion.

Snorting he nudged Aara in the direction of the flicker of color he saw. "That way. I believe we have company." Thankfully that feather head hadn't spoken about him so Scion was unaware of his ability. Though it probably wouldn't take the white one to figure it out.
"If we move toward him hopefully he'll stop this." Either that or he'd just move back to stay out of the storm but there was no hurt in trying.

"You'd better be right..." He grumbled as he followed alongside his friend. He remained close for warmth still until he realized that, for some reason, the cold was no longer bothering as much as it should have been. His nose scrunched, tail pulling in close to the est of his body.

And again the white Daewl found himself slightly peeved. They weren't supposed to be coming towards him, weren't supposed to know where he was. There was no fun in such things. But one was a Daewl, he now realized, feeling slightly foolish for not having done so earlier, and a Daewl meant an ability, most probably one that had shown the pair where he was. Alas.
Acting completely unbothered by this fact, he let both illusions fade, suddenly appearing sitting on the snow drift even as the storm vanished completely into the air. There was still a biting chill to the air, but that was none of his doing, and he rather enjoyed it, so he offered no assistance in warming either of the pair. "When lost in a snow storm, you are supposed to stay where you are until you can be found," he instructed as means of a greeting, raising a brow at the pair.

It was slightly surprising that the white one didn't remember him. Most didn't forget his coat easily. "I don't follow rules well." His tail fluffed slightly as he shook some of the snow off him. "That was not a snow storm. That was you"
He probably should have been less snippy toward the other Jivvin but he had never been good at that.

He sat back on his haunches, wrapping his tail around his legs. "Good afternoon to you too, Scion." He nodded his head slowly in greeting to the elder Jivvin. "I believe that rule only applies if there are people who know that you're out in said snow storm... As we alerted none of our intentions to explore the woods, I believe we would have been what some choose to call 's**t out of luck' had we gotten lost."

"It was a snow storm caused by me," the white Daewl countered, staring down his nose at Kuro. "Regardless of its source, it was a storm." With a haughty sniff he turned his attention form the red Daewl, instead focusing with a smile on the blue Afya, even gracing Aaralyn with a light laugh at his remark. "Truely spoken, my friend. A good day to you as well, Aaralyn. What brings you towards my lake?"

Managing to keep his snort to himself he curled his tail around him as he sat back. He hadn't done well talking to Scion the first time and it wouldn't be any better now. Aara seemed to get along with him so the other could do the talking.
He'd just get them in trouble if he spoke. Shaking his head enough to clear his eyes he could not see the correct outline of Scion and Aara.

"Behave." He bumped his shoulder against Kuro's as he muttered to his friend. "Sciion, if you haven't met Kuro before... This is Kuro. If you have met him before, I needn't apologize for his disposition as you should have been pre-warned." He nodded slowly, keeping his tones light and a teasing smile on his muzzle.
"... What brings me to your lake? Why, the same thing that often does... Curiosity. The forest has been somewhere along the lines of 'not quite right'... And then the cold, when it became colder, made my thoughts drift to you and our first meeting."
