Del nodded " I suppose that's only fair." Besides gettign into a fight in the mall was probably not going to impress her father even if it was for a good cause. Still she'd fight the men if she had to.

Moving behind the dragon, Azoc stared as the scientists finally came up to them and looked a bit unhappy at having to chase her all over the place, but were happy to have found her at last.
"Did you find Sciz?" Azoc murmured, eyes bright. The scientists looked at each other, their figures hunching a bit as they tried to figure out what to tell the lobster girl.
"... oh. You didn't." Azoc moved closer to Del.

" If you try to take her away and do experiments onher I won't let you." Dels voice was cool her eyes sparked with determination. " If you're here for good things though then maybe I'll let her go with you." The maybe was becuase Del would willingly take home the lobster child if she didn't want to go witht he techs. Whoever this Sciz was had obvious been the girls parent and without them she had only those who'd brought her to life or something like that.

The lobster girl sighed. She didn't want to go to another place. She rather wished Lian and Ai'shern were back, though she knew Lian far more than Ai'shern.
"We found a caretaker, Azoc." One of the scientists said, though unsmiling.
"Don't wanna go. I wanna find Lian." Azoc's pinchers clicked together. The scientists looked at each other and sighed.

This was not a good situation, defying the scientists could mean trouble for her and her father. On the other hand letting them take this girl to an unknown caretaker while someone she cared about was missing was not acceptable. " You can't take her, she can live with me and I'll help her find who she needs to. Go away or Echo will make you leave."
Echo took a step foreward and growled, a good deal of what was going on confused him but he did know that he was being called on to help a girl who was being forced to do something against her will.

The scientists seemed to think on this, about to speak, but Azoc turned and made a pinching sound with her claws, frowning further.
Deciding that talking was not the best action, the scientists moved to tackle her, rubberbands taken out of their pockets. Fortunately for Azoc, she dodged with ease, leaving a few slash marks, before veering into the crowd, making sure that Del was behind her.
The chase was on! And oh, it would be fun.

Grabbing one of her heavier bags from Echo's she flung it in the direction of the scientists then followed Azoc's lead and fled. She regretted the loss of her purchases but if it bought them more time then it was worth it. Del was not nearly as good at weaving through the crowd as the other girl but she manged to keep her within sight.
Echo shook lose the rest of the bags sending them flying with a bit more force. Withing him he knew there was the power to end this but he was too young and all he could do was follow behind the girls forcing the crowd to part for him.

Azoc let out a small laugh as she grinned, still winding through the crowd before stopping at one particular small area, waving to Del before hunching down so the scientists wouldn't see.
"Anyplace else to go?" The lobster girl asked, blinking at the dolphin girl as she thrummed her toes on the bare floor.

Del had offered to take the girl home with her but home wasn't exactly a safe place all the time. As they hid she tried to think, where could they go that the scientists couldn't find them? She was preparing to shrug when an idea hit her " I don't have a lot of money left but there's enough that I could get us into the movies. if we hide in a theater, by the time the movie is over they should be gone." Fortunately the theaters wasn't that much further down the mall. "Plus Echo is leading them the wrong way."
Having realised he was the easiest member of the group to spot Echo had feinted left at one point hoping to lead the scientists away from the girls. He could always follow his nose back to Del later.

A movie? Azoc had only seen ones on tv, but one with a big screen intrigued her. Her antenna twitched slightly as her mouth opened in a wide grin, eyes widening. "Do they have any movies about monsters?"

Del nodded " Yeah there's one in right now called blood and chocolate it's about werewolves. it's supposed to be interesting and kinda scarey but not so bad that we can't get in to see it." This would be fun for sure, Del made sure Echo had lead their persuers astray and then looked at the other girl. " shall we?"

"Weer... wolves?" Azoc blinked, putting the end of her claw to her lips in thoughtfulness. That sounded good!
"'kay! Let's go see that! Monsters, raar." A grin covered her face as she followed after the other, claws clacking together in what seemed like impatience.
