pixie65 I am hating the scroll lag. It's been 8 days now or maybe nine. I stopped counting. xp I have had to learn to use the Stop button which means I never see everyone's pets in sigs. crying Oh good! It's not just me/my computer! I noticed it only happened on Gaia, but I still thought it might be my computer freezing up. I hope they fix it!

Gaia actually seems to be working ok for me today eek mozilla let me access it too which makes a nice change, when i try to get on through AOL the guild pages are 2 weeks out of date, can't understand that at all!

I wonder if your AOL has preferences somewhere that lets you specify how often it should check for new versions of a page. I know I've run across that setting somewhere in my other browsers...

in my opinion AOL is just plain lazy! of course until i had problems with it and had to use a different browser i wasn't aware of it's slovenly habits.
i did try coming onto Gaia through AOL again just now and it's fine until i reach the forum page, then it's still stuck on one from june 18th!
i never gives you a new page if you go back to one you were on before though, which can be pretty irritating on neo, forcing you to refresh all the time, consequently i only use AOL to read my mail now, then i swap to Mozilla for everything else, as it's far better behaved.

i cant get use to using any other browser other then IE....i havent ever liked AOL...and i normally use mozilla and opera for access to my other lab accounts on neo...but that is it...guess i am just old fashioned rofl
and jelly...might i say you look quite schmexy there surprised cool

As for browers, I use Firefox for Gaia only. Except when I was doing swaps on Neo...

I've made the complete switch over to FireFox--except for those things that IE is required for. I've notice a HUGE decrease in the baddies that AdAware and SpyBot find. Plus, I love the options and little extentions that are availabe for it (now to just make them work on my laptop!! *kicks laptop*)

redface thanks for the compliments biggrin this is my favourite outfit.
if i ever remember at the right moment i shallcheck my browser settings for aol as fawN suggests. this problem with Gaia has only occured since aol was re-installed so i imagine that it will be something allow those lines. i'm so glad that my friend put firefox on here for me, i too like how helpful it is with form filling and password saving, most considerate biggrin

I like the way IE loads more than firefox, which often loads the ad bar in the middle of the page.. or I've had firefox timeout while accepting a trade offer, and it doesn't go to a Page Cannot Be Displayed where you can click back from. Instead it just makes the submit button unclickable, and I've lost items that way. I'm on IE mostly, and firefox second most for secondary accounts, and opera only if I need to be in a third place!

this is just a heads up...
i have been hanging around the Q & A board...and it seems that there are a LOT of people having some major problems with the bank/trading....there have been a lot of people who have lost their items...i would hang off on any trades until they get this fixed....i dont want anyone to lose their stuff sweatdrop

has anyone had any problems with their trades of items? i have 2 people whom i borrowed items from and i dont want them to think i am keeping them...i am scared that we will have problems and the items be lost...i keep checking off and on everyday since the problem started...and it does seem that there are still people having problems...

my only problem is that Gaia wont let me wear the pretty bracelet i got for my birthday*boots Gaia* there, now my foot hurts and i STILL can't wear my bracelet! stressed
