Bleeding_Me kirk takes my vote, but megadeth rules too. this was a REALLY HArd decisioun.. u should add a poll option that both of em are equl..

Dave got really drunk and almost killed the others about 20 times while he was driving. for almost wiping out the best band ever, Dave fails and Kirk wins.

Kirk gets my vote, however, now, MegaDeth is a better band. When it all started, MegaDeth was second to Metallica, now it's the othe way around.

Mustaine actually wrote alotta riffs on Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning and also one song off of ...And Justice For All, but I like both players. Mustaine makes Megadeth for what it is and Hammett makes Metallica for what it is. I like Hammett better just because over all his melodies and solos stick out, but remember Joe Satriani DID give him private lessons. I give props to both, so whatever you like, choose.

I had to go with Dave because IMO his style of riffing was and still is amazing. No offense to Kurt. Great poll too!!

I bet that not even 1/10 of the people here even herd dave with metallica

sorry for this guys... DAVE MUSTAINES BETTER!!!! metallicas my 3rd favourite band.. after Megadeth and Iron maiden.. metallica has some pretty good songs but im glad that megadeth was formed.. cuz dave actually sings not screams.. sorry. but i like megadeth better. dramallama

Not Good 0, thats not the point the tipping point in when he was kicked out of metallica is when he kicked james' dog. masterofhorror81, he wrote all the riffs on kill 'em all, 1 riff on ride, and nothing else

I like both Dave and Kirk however Kirk is better for Metallica, and Dave is better for Megadeth. I have nothing against either of them.
