"Gag!" Taylor announced reaching forward for the orb with a sort of desperate enthusiasm. His tail lashed wildly behind him, and he all but bounced in place, his amber eyes bright. "Shi gag! Na!"
The bead was forgotten, it dropped into his lap, and only Jer'ain's quick intervention kept him from dropping the wand as well. Apparently the boy had a one track mind. Big surprise there.
"We're going." Jer'ain announced, pushing the stroller up to the checkout counter. She dropped her purchases on it, and paid quickly. "You can give him it if you want."

Kishi nodded and handed over a dollar for the orb then dropped it in his lap. " Bye I hope to see you again soon." She hoped never to see the fussy teen again but Taylor like most babies amused her and would be a welcome sight at the headquarters.

"Bah!" Echoed Taylor, before ignoring the girl in favor of the orb. Mouth opened to its fullest extent he drooled lovingly all over his newest shiny, gurgling in joyous content.
And Jer'ain... Jer'ain just wheeled the cart out of the store, without so much as a glance backwards at the girl and her guardian. She just hoped she wouldn't have to go out again any time soon. And if she did, she wouldn't bring Taylor along. He attracted too much attention.
