“I haven’t found you weird at all.” The rabbit replied allowing the confusion with the statement to creep into his voice. “In fact I have found it quite refreshing to have someone so pleasant around.” The rabbit easily kept pace with the demon as they walked through the night.
“Honestly, I’m a little worried about meeting your other half. If I enjoy your company do you think he will dislike me out of principle? If that is the case I’ll do anything I can to help you repress him.” The rabbit paused for a moment before continuing. “If that is your wish, of course.”

D shrugged, quite thankful Akuji didnt seem to find himself unstable at all. It wasnt really true but it was a fantasy this half at least liked to pretend.
"Who says you havent met my other half already? It perhaps was the one bearing claws and wanting to get to your throat and tasted your own blood. It stopped itself though... and eventually let me out to talk to you.

He let out a sigh, wondering quite frankly why he actually liked his other half. It was rude was sarcastic but so was he. It might be that his other half was prone to adored other people misfortune to some extent. He loved sharp objects and a good time.

"My wish? You dont know the half of what I wish. Dont worry about who you meet, it will always be me you are talking to.

He kept walking... wondering to himself if he was even making any sense at all. There were many differences he could tell this new person about his halfs but that might not be a good thing to do. He didnt want someone he just met to know everything about himself, it wouldnt be right.

Akuji shrugged. “If I have met both halves then I’ll be honest and say I didn’t really notice a difference.” The rabbit walk along side his new companion before he spoke again. “As to not knowing your wishs it’s true. We are strangers. But don’t strangers off a strange kind of intimacy? It’s often easier to talk to a nameless face in the crowd then someone you have known for years.” The rabbit turned his head toward the demon. “And if then you become close to this stranger that you have opened up to the hard part is already over. I find it enticing that you don’t seem repulsed by my appearance. Most people find it unsettling to talk to a man without a face…much less the rest.”
PostPosted: Tue Dec 12, 2006 2:12 am

"Good, not noticing is better for me. I will warn you he is feral-like and very quick to judge. So I advise you to watch out, not that you seem to be afraid or anything in the first place."

He paused for a moment, thinking about the comments made to him. "Strangers do not frighten me. The only reason I avoid strangers is because I know it wont go very well. You at least wont judge me... or at least you dont right now. And its silly to think that I of all people would mind your conditions. I do not at all. Although.. blood does make me a bit faint at times. Your face and body mean nothing to me, its the person inside that I would like to judge at first."

He sighed, kicking the dirt before him. "I hate nameless crowds, I am usually the one in the middle of it hoping to find an escape route. Being someone who has a fair amount a money you would think I would enjoy going outside and splurging on myself. Hah hah... I would rather somehow get shot and left for dead in the middle of nowhere. Its my choice... I made it after finally giving up on meeting people. The hired help wasnt my idea.. but they were hired and they seem to have not liked myself too much"

“Now I see a difference, but I don’t think the change is bad” He paused as if searching for the right word. “It’s just different. I think you should have more faith in yourself though. Crowds are not things to escape from, but get lost into. I’m thankful that the magics that create us allow us to blend in with the mundane population. I feel more accepted there then among our own people.”
The rabbit lowered his hood. Turning his face toward the moon he spoke again. “I hope you don’t judge me too harshly. It is sometimes far to easy to be evil when you never can look at yourself in the eyes again. This is the price I pay; I just hope to someday keep others from the path I took.”
PostPosted: Tue Dec 12, 2006 2:35 am

"You think you see a difference dont you? Hmm... sometimes I wonder if my other half is the way it is for a reason. Perhaps it calls out for chaos because it feels more left out than I do. Either that or its just plain psycho. Either way I cannot judge it, because no matter what happens it affects myself as well."

D watched the bunny carefully, wondering why he was actually saying all that he was. Perhaps for the moment he felt special, finally being able to talk to someone. Either that or he was far too tired to worry about anything.

"I have yet to judge you, you havent said anything that would make me do that as of yet. At least I didnt meet you in a crowd." He grinned while saying that and trodded on deeper down the silly little path he was following.

“Joking with something that would have a hard time passing for a walking corpse while walking through a cemetery at night.” Akuji said as he followed behind at a more even pace. “This should be for more surreal for you then it is I believe. And of course you’ve judged me already. We make snap judgments with our first impressions, and allow them to evolve as we progress in a relationship. You may not have judged me harshly yet, but you have judged me. I’m rambling. I apologize. I suppose this is where I should ask if you’d like to continue our conversation over dinner, but I don’t eat, so do you have any better ideas?”
PostPosted: Wed Dec 13, 2006 12:14 am

"Hm? I have met more shadey characters than you, some that bite. Heh, I am vagualy assuming that you didnt choose to be what you are therefore I will not try and treat you as someone different. And rambling isnt rambling unless you can throw a breadroll at your lover for. Jumping to dinner? My my you seem fiesty for someone who just met me."
D looked up at the stars overhead. The clouds were few and some were busy covering up his veiw of the moon. Still, the moonlight shot down all around them both. This amused him. He knew most "signs" were bullshit. For someone to tell him that a black cat could terribly ruin his day he laughed. Any cat could ruin his day, people are just stupid enough to associate the color black with something they shouldnt. Still... he thought the beautiful night was a nice change of pace from the rain that came earlier. Perhaps walking in the pale moonlight after being stranded was a good thing afterall.

"It is true that most people "judge" eachother when meeting. But tell me, if all I did was state my name and bow, starting a conversation, does it truely mean I am judgemental of you? Where ever you plan to go, its your choice. I however am going home."

“You know,” The Rabbit said “I do believe that is the first time anyone has ever called me feisty before. I mearly suggested dinner because it was the most nonabrasive thing I could think of.” Akuji walked quietly for a moment before continuing.
“As for choosing what I am now some would argue that I did and some would say I did not. I merely accept it as what is, and write it off as the foolishness of youth. I did learn that when something looks to good to be true it usually is. Which, by the way, brings me to your invitation. Or at least what I believe to be an invitation.” Akuji drew a highly ornamental Japanese fan from his sleeve, and began slapping it against his other palm. “Though I am enjoying this time, only moments ago you were ready to tare what was left of my flesh from my bones. Can I have your word as a gentleman that that won’t happen?”
PostPosted: Wed Dec 13, 2006 1:02 am

"When one doesnt explain themselves truly the other person can easily interpret what they asy far differently than what it was mean to be. As for the youth, they are usually ignorant because of their parents. They think what they are taught. And even it that amuses me, it scares me even more knowing that our world can be easily taught how to be a mindless drone."

D stared at the fan and wondered when was the last time he had seen one of those. It had to have been years.

"Invitation? I did say you could do what you like. That even includes shedding on my carepets if you wish."

He caught a glimpse of the tiny, furry rabbit tail right before he said that. He kinda wanted to rach out and fluff it but he at least knew better.

"I can not promise you anything sir. I told you my other half was the one you met 1st, the one that bore claws towards you and tasted your very own blood. He said thank you actually, your blood apparently amused him greatly. You can choose to believe what I say or you can simply choose to walk away. I can not promise your safety at all. That I will tell you."

Akuji chuckled. “I’m smiling you just can’t see it. You’re being honest with me, and that is truly all I can ask for.”

The rabbit continued walking. This was by no means how he had expected his night to progress, but who was he to question. This was the most fun he had had in in far more time then he was willing to admit, and he was going to milk it for as long as he could.

“The idea of mindless drones is a troubling one. I take it you don’t plan to raise your children as such?” The rabbit turned to his companion. “Oh, and I won’t bore you with the details of my past if you don’t want to know them, but if you do feel free to ask.”
PostPosted: Wed Dec 13, 2006 1:26 am

"At least you can see my smiles.. or grins for that matter. I am a man or perhaps demon of my word. As little as that m ight seem to people I surprisingly keep what I promise. "
He noticed his quiet mansion up ahead. It was close yet would take quite a few more steps to get to. Getting a room for Akuji would be much trouble. He wasnt a snoob to treat a guest like trash, he would get any room he wanted.. except his own of course.

"Eh? Kids? It would depend. I dont like the idea of being a father. Then again I have never liked the idea of having a lover.. mainly because I have not found a suitable one as of yet. Children would indeed be irritating wouldnt it? The child play and noise. Still.. I cant really say I do not want any. I cant say much on that matter..."

He blinked and purred slightly, hearing his travel companion mention what he did. "I have no reason to nose into your past nor have I a wanting to know about it. I will however say that I will not talk about my own past. Perhaps if you prove charming then maybe. As of now, no."

“Your past is your own concern. Mine is much more open for public debate. Your reason to nose, if you need a reason, is that i just invited you to.” as they approached the home Akuji slowed. “Is this your home? My, I must admit it isn’t at all what I expected.”

The rabbit spent several moments taking in the mansion and it’s surrounding. “While I agree with you about taking lovers I here very few people say that. I was starting to think everyone one else in out special community had a velvet rope and waiting list leading to their bed.”
PostPosted: Thu Dec 14, 2006 2:02 am

"Thank you sincerly but I think I will take a raincheck on that. It is far too late for me to concentrate on something like that and I never really did enjoy personal conversations right before supper. That is... if anything is left to actually eat."
He flinched thinking about that. While his help that fleed earier didnt seem cruel, he wondered what they did after the got scared and ran off. D seriously needed to just hire people just as loony as himself. It might weed out the more civalized people and leave him with people easier to work with. Perhaps the ones with problems might not care so much about their bosses problems.

D stared at the large house and its frozen windows.
"Such lovely ice isnt it?"
He sighed, taking in the last comment to him deeply.
"Its amusing how stupid people can be. For centuries there has always been that special velvet rope...."

“Is that real ice?” Akuji surveyed the home. “Is it maintained magically? I haven’t dealt with active magic in years.”
