Lee brought his right leg up and smashed his heel down ward into the large plate of stone. As it shattered into thousands of small shards he turned around and held the shards in the air and shot the to the south. It was like watching a barage of flying caltrops.

Lee then moved his right arm in an upside down arch and then to a normal arch. The patch of earth he was focusing on then shot up into the air and arched downward and hit the ground. Once the dust had cleared lee positioned himself in front of the stone arch and then cut sections off of the stone to form something that was about the size of the average person.

Lee raised his arms into the air and his hands flat and pointing toward the stone. Lee started to move slowly and once he got into the movements he began striking the stone with his finger tips. Sliding them in and out of the large rock that stand before him.

In a shimmer of light, Ryder's cloaked figure suddenly appeared riding on a dark brown horse. He seemed to have just completed some sort of business he had to attend to in the Relentless Desert as he galloped to the distant Fire Nation capital.

A san colored pelisse danced around a figure as it slowly made it's way across the wild of sand. Each step left it's imprint in the sand, but only for a moment, for the winds of sand quickly made sure to conceal the foot prints; leaving no sign of life. This thirsted terrian seemed too wasted and desiccated to home anything, and yet billions made it's home here. Every speck and grain of sand all formed together to create this no man's land. A place that few could walk, and even fewer-
"Damnit!" The cloak that had been whipping around the figure, pressing back against it and then pulling it forward, finally took all it could stand and detachted itself from it's owner, flying away in one of the strong winds. Eriku reached out for it, but it was a failed attempt. It had already put a great distance between them, and when she tried to run after it her wooden sandles got caught in the sand, making her land face first against the barren.
She slowly lifted her head up, glaring at the cloak as it waved away, mocking her. In a sudden motion she jumped up, sand falling from her as she did so. "Gah, fine, leave! See if I care!" she yelled at the cloak. If anyone ahd been watching her, they would have probably thought the heat had gotten to her, but the sad truth of it was that this is how she always acted.
Eriku crossed her arms under her chest, shaking sand out of her light red hair which was being whipped around her face, even though it was pulled back. She began to walk again, scowling as she mumbled, "I hate the desert..."

As Ryder's steed galloped at a steady pace towards the Fire Nation capital, the desert winds started to pick up. Ryder pulled up his cloth face mask to guard himself from the wind and sand. Now only his emotionless amber eyes were visible as they looked straight ahead. It looked as though he was thinking to himself, part of his soul was active while the other part was pensive. Ryder had just received startling news that a stranger had successfully entered and trained in the Relentless Desert, a threatening piece of information. I wonder what the elders will do... he wondered to himself. After a couple of minutes, Ryder's sharp senses picked up ANOTHER newcomer in the desert. Squinting in the sun, he could make out a figure with light red hair trudging through the sand. Cursing lightly, he pulled out one of his tiger hook swords from his back sheath. He started galloping full speed at the figure and was instantly upon her, swinging down at her with his weapon.

Eriku walked through the sand, her feet dragging a bit now for her legs were starting to get tired. "Ah! Curse this sand!" she said as both her hands were rubbing feircly at her hands. This had been the third time she had gotten sand in her eyes.
"I swear if I ever find that stupid cloak I'll-" she stopped and took a moment to start spitting out the sand that went into her mouth as she attempted to speak. With a sigh she lowered her hands back to her side, not even bothering to finish her statement.
She continued to walk on, her head hanging slightly to try and keep the wind from beating against it. Slowly, she closed her eyes, her steps becoming more and more faint against the sand.
In a sudden motion she pulled the naginata from it's place on her back and in a upheavel swung it upward. The two blades met for a split second before she jumped to the side, rolling onto her arm and landing in a crouch position, still facing forward.

Ryder's eyes widened ever so slightly under his desert mask as their two blades touched. In that second, he took a glance sideways at Eriku and noticed that she indeed had light red hair, wore a traditional silk outfit, and seemed to be a bit older than him. Sparks flew as metal met metal and Ryder's horse charged past Eriku's figure. His steed stopped and wheeled around, front hooves in the air while making a neighing sound. Then, it's two hooves slumped on the sand, facing Eriku once again. Ryder sat motionless on the mount, carefully observing this intruder. A light sandy breeze swept past while Ryder thought, she doesn't seem to be affected by the desert's harsh weather as much as others. His cool gaze stayed focused on her, watching for even the slightest movement. ((what's a naginata?))

((A Naginata is like a katana but the handle is longer than the blade. The blade of a naginata is about the size of the blade of a wakazashi (Shortest of the two swords samurai use) And the handle is about as along as a katana.))
Eriku stood in place, her shoulders slightly dropped in a manner that told she was uninterested in what was going on. She twirled the naginata, trying to get the sand out from the creases in it. She gave a quick glance at her weapon, cursing the desert sand once again. She didn't seem all that worried over the fact that she had just been attacked.
But after a moment of silence Eriku jerked her head back, giving him a quick look over. "Well, is there a reason for you attacking me? Or are you just the welcoming comittee?" Her voice was stained with annoyance. Eriku brought her hand up to hold some of the strands of her hair in place, trying to keep it from flying in front of her face. The shredded up ends and sleeves of her uniquely styled kimono wavered back and forth with the winds as she stood there, awaiting his answer.

Horse and rider still staying motionless, Ryder's ragged cloak flapped in the wind. If she could have seen the bottom half of his face, Eriku would have noticed that he was smirking. He hopped off of his mount and walked a little ways towards Eriku, stopping and facing her. He brought the tiger hook up and rested it upon his shoulder, "no, this is just my 'honorable' way of greeting beautiful girls of the desert." His voice was full of irony and he said the word 'honorable' as if he were mocking it. Definitely the ronin type. Ryder's eyes gave nothing away.

Eriku let out one, single laugh, but it had little humor in it. She flipped the naginata back into it's place against her back, a strap holding it up in place. With a few steps she ahd closed off the distance between them, stepping right in front of him with one hand against the obi that was tied tightly around her stomach, giving her chest a lift.
"I don't appritiate little boys interupting my strolls without good reason," she had said cooly as she walked up to him. "I suggest not making that mistake again." She seemed completely unaware of the blade he held against his shoulder as she stood there, looking irritated and all high and mighty. She couldn't exactly tell how old this male was for his features were hidden, but that didn't stop her from calling him 'boy'. The fact is she called many people kid, squirt, youngstet; even if they were older than her.
Eriku didn't have to glance down at the stranger, he was about her height, so she took it that he couldn't have been too young. But she doubted he was any older than twenty.

Giving her a quick look up and down, Ryder stepped even closer to her, now staring directly into her eyes. In his glance, he had noticed her flawless skin and pretty features. With provocative eyes, he said in a low voice while looking at her chest, "are you trying to seduce me?" He knew she wasn't but he couldn't help it. "And if I may ask, what is the purpose of your 'stroll?' "

Eriku's face dropped instantly at his comment, irritation being the main highlight in her eyes. Then her look almost changed completely as she tilted her head slightly, the ends of her full lips curving into an alluring smile. "If I was trying to seduce you, you'd know." As she spoke these words she had moved her face closer to his ever so slightly, but then she stepped back and turned her head in the direction east of them.
"I am trying to find a village," she answered plainly as she crossed her arms under her chest. Her real destination was the Fire Nation Capitol, but she wouldn't mind visiting one of the small villages she found so quiant.

Cocking one of his eyebrows in return, Ryder looked at Eriku facing away from him under his desert mask. His amber eyes sparkled with a bit of curiosity. Again stepping closer to her, he said softly near her ear, "might I be of service for this 'visit?' " He wasn't sure, but he thought she was lying about the whole visiting a small village agenda.

Lee had heard quiet a bit of noise not too far from where he was. So lee decided to check it out. He planted his feet down on the ground firmly and lifted the earth while pushing himself forward at the same time. As he got closer to the noises he began to slow down and attempt to stay unseen by whatever was out there. Once lee had seen two figures he stay at a distance to examine them. He noticed one had a pair of swords he could not recognize while the other had a naginata. Lee swore he heard the clinking of metal but yet these two weren't fighting. Perhaps the were but stopped.
