T i f a CupOfTea I was like 7 when I stopped believing in Santa but still to this day my mom wraps up presents and puts on there "From Santa". So yeah...Santa never left my house aparently. My mom still does Santa gifts too, and I still leave out milk and cookies to get my Santa note. It's all in good fun. ^^ whee !! And I'm in agreement with Geraniums. sweatdrop

I guess she does that for my nieces, I know it's not for me and my siblings. I'm the youngest and I'm 19.

I honestly think my mom does it more out of general tradition since I'm 17 and she knows that I know that Santa's not real. I don't have any sibilings, so perhaps it's just habit too. I don't know, I don't really think about it too much. I'm just enjoying it while I can. ^^;;;

that's really nice. =D My sister has friends who don't believe in Santa but as long as they say they do their parents still give them gifts from "Santa". =P
Since I come from an Asian family, my parents never did any "pretend to be Santa" thing so I stopped believing in him after I was five years old. That was the year I met other kids and the same year I realized that Santa gave me nothing, no reply letter and no presents... not even coal. My parents did let me sit on Santa's lap... but I ended up being really annoyed at him.

Pale_Midnight I'm gonna let them believe in Santa as long as they want.I stopped believing this year, I'm 12. I know I sound cheesy, but Santa kinda hides the true meaning of Christmas. My family is really religious, so all of the comercialising(I spelled that wrong didn' I?) of Christmas bothers me.

Since I'm not Christian, I have no problem with the commercialization of holidays. Even when I was technically considered Christian, I was still in love with the commercialized side, but maybe that's because I had fun with it. ^^;;;
@Kirlia: I'm not expert, but haven't you ever heard Santa called Saint Nick? I think it has something to do with some saint giving kids toys.

The way I see it, holidays are whatever you make them. It's kind of like religion on a way.
But you know, now I'm intrigued. I'm going to go find out stuff about Saint Nick...XD
