Juke followed the dog's motion towards his hind leg, and screwed up his face a bit. If he tilted his head and squinted, it did look a bit like a backwords wing. And there was no denying the most frunt marking was a swirl. But was he filled swirling energy? Hapiness, of course. The lion was almost constantly happy. Optimistic by nature, he could find a bright side in nearly every situation. Yes, that part was logical. But energy? That one he truely couldn't answer. "I dunno. I'm happy, yes, but I dunno about energy."

"Everyone has energy," Mugen said matter of factly nodding his head and wagging his tail. "Energy can be strength of heart or mind, everyone has it, it is what drives us to be what we are, without energy, we'd just sleep all day I suppose," Mugen said with a laugh. He flopped over to the ground adn stretched out his legs, peered over at Juke and smiled. "I do admit, you are of none I've met before, but thats a good thing."

Juke was beyond pelased with the comfort level the conversation was at, where both members were quite relaxed with eachother. He nodded somewhat, thinking over the whole energy idea. "Would the music be my energy?" He had never thought of much at the scientific stand point, and was not looking at energy as an actual life force. To him, it seemed that energy was something that fed the very soul of a creature, the drive that kept them going in life. If that were the true energy, the music would surely be his.
"I do admit, I've never really talked with a dog before." The ancient feud of dog and cat was still running int he blood of animals today, and one quite specific example was that of the hyena and the lion. Yet, here was a big cat completely at ease beside a wild dog, both basking in the savannah sun, and conversating about rhythms and wings. Life is so ironic, isn't it?

"I have never really talked with a cat, let alone a lion myself I do admit," he said with a nod. He tried to think back, yes, this was his first time in this type of circumstance. Mugen stretched out, rolled onto his back and peered up at the clouds, funny how things were. Other times with other lions he might be runnig for his life. But this, but Juke was different from all those others.
"Do you think that even if we met in another place...we would be friends Juke?" he asked somewhat softly. Was a strange question he realized that, but he was glad he met Juke today, right here. Juke was his first lion friend.

The lion rarely allowed himself to tell a lie, and this would be no exception. It was the nature of things that dogs and cats were to be enemies and that the lion was to take every oppurtunity at food that he could. Though Juke was a passifisct by nature, he was also a full blooded wild cat who had a hunger when he hadn't fed. "I do not entirely know, really." He took a long pause and smiled jokingly. "Had I not eaten before meeting you, you could've been in my belly." The male laughed loudly, throwing back his head. His laugh was a rich, deep sound, much like that of a roar more than anything else. After his jest, however, he calmed himself. "I like you, though, Mugen. And I'm pretty sure we'd be friends no matter where we met." He ended with a kind smile, and nodded to himself, as if confirming the question for himself rather than for the dog.

Mugen smiled and chuckled softly as Juke laughed. Good thing the lion had eaten then. He smiled none the less though, reassured by Juke's own words of friendship no amtter where they met. He hoped that meant that they were friends now. Would be nice to have a lion as a friend, perhaps in a time of trouble he could call upon him if he needed to.
Violet eyes looked around, it was later now, Eira might be worried as to where he was. "I do apologize Juke, but it is getting late, Eira might start worrying over me, I seem to fly away too far sometimes." He stood adn stretched and wagged his tail, "Can I come see you again? If our paths cross?" He hoped so, would be nice to keep up with Juke adn see how he was.

"Of course." The lion rose to his feet, smiling down at the now dwarfed dog. He had never truely felt tall in his life, being slightly shorter than the average male lion, but next to his new friend, he felt quite like a giant. He was also rather happy in Mugen's company, something he had not always expected in the presence of a wild dog? Weren't they supposed to be enemies? Well... Maybe not so much as the lion and the hyena were. Now there was an anceint battle. One Juke did not truely plan to break. From birth he had been raised to that prejudice, as he knew the other species was as well. "We probablly will pass sometime again. I do not belong to a pride, and I roam the rogue lands all day." He smiled and nodded. "I'd like to see you again some time, too."

Mugen smiled and headbutted Juke softly against his forehead, Mugen's way of cealing their freindship together in a strange way. "Then I do hope my wings carry to you once again in the future, would be nice to see you then Juke, for now I must go...let the wind carry my wings...and carry your song as well." Mugen began to pad off but stopped and peered over his shoulder and looked at Juke, "I'll try to listen to teh song better next time I hear it," with that Mugan began to run, wings carrying him full speed. But he smiled when he ran.
He would see his friend again.
