Do you know any other energy channeling methods besides through your psi? Perhaps something like magic or chi that you could draw from within yourself?
IF you can focus the engergy on the veil and force it outwards as malevolently as you can, and with as much force as you can. You should be able to break whatever it is.

Psi magic and chi are pretty much the same...
One of the ways to get out of it... Is to mass energy in your center and focus your physical energy in one place and then force it out through one place
