The male snarled, and pulled away almost instantly, though of course, it did hurt a bit when her teeth dragged away from his skin. He didn't, however, look away. Stupid females and their feelings.
"I patrol, Shira. I pass by the dens everyday, you think I can't make out smells? " He snorted, and bit back a laugh of amusement. "'Not good enough for you!?' " He quoted, snorting to not laugh.
"No female is good enough for me, or has to be. I'm not some womanizing male that emmediately wants a female, and to be frank, I just met you. " A brow quirked. What was up with her?
He knew what she said abut Mafa was partially true, but he respected the female. "Mafa is like any of us, yes. "He rolled his eyes. "But like any of us, she deserved respect. I wouldn't follow her over something insane, nor would I 'mate' just to please her. But her war is ours too, in or out of the pack. "

"What do you mean you pass by the dens? Smell? What smell?"
Did he know? Did he know Yaku's secret and her own? She growled, her breathing growing heavier. This male...was despicable. He may not jump for another any female, but he was power seeking.
She turned from him.
"I have no more time for the likes of you. When you decide to stop this talk about Mafa and more about you. Only then should you seek me out for any forgiveness. Until then, do what you want and stay away from Yakuti's den."
She warned as stormed off. There she goes, her mind a storm once again. Not only was it of Yakuti but infuriated by Tibuka. And here she thought he may be one of the good males of the times. Damn him.

"Yes, Shira, the dens. I'm a guard I have to go around the whole place. And I don't need to trot right up and shove my nose in somewhere to tell two hyenas share one. "
He arched a brow. Why did she get defensive about the den? Not like they were hiding a lion in there. The hyena smell hid most of Omoa's, fortunately enough for Shira and Yakuti. The small remaining trace was easly assumable to just be a passby. Either way, Tibuka didn't realy care.
"I don't care about his den, or whatever is in it. Yakuti is a fine hyena, I've no reason to suspect anything of him. "
And this was true, he'd first yet Yakuti fighting off a lion almost twice his size. Then he'd been a pup, the lion had been a bit older. They had to run from that one, though. If they hadn't, Yakuti might be dead. Afterall, Tibuka had no idea that lion was just bullying, to him, they wanted to kill. Always.
As she turned tail and stormed away, he shrugged, tiny droplets of blood from where Shira had grabbed him rolled down his shoulder, then he got up, trotting the way he'd been heading before. It first seemed he was going to follow Shira, but that was merely because he had already been heading such way. soon enough, they devided.
