Angelic Layer is my main reason for joining this guild whee That and I started realizing how many of the mangas/animes I want to see are CLAMP-made...

I'm just starting to get into Angelic Layer. I really like it so far. I guess Icchan is my favorite character so far. He's so weird I guess that's what makes him so cool. Everytime I watch or read it, it makes me wish Angelic Layer was real and I could make a doll like that. I have a question though. I started reading the manga before I started downloading the anime. I imagined Ogata with light brown hair or blond hair (kind of like Daisuke in X), but in the anime he had black hair. Does any one know what color hair he is suppost to have?

^ arohnd this time Keade Dies, also Angleic Layer becomse less populaer.
and Icchan is married to Miss Hibiya from Chobits.

Angelic Layer is such an awesome anime and manga series. I really loved reading it and watching it ( crying I want DVD vol.6--the store I go to here for DVDs only sells vol.7! gonk ). Personally, I think the anime series is slightly better than the manga because of the fighting scenes.
The fighting scenes are practically one of the main eye-catchers (or probably the only eye-catcher for some of you guys here) of this particular series and, in my opinion, the manga doesn't really give you that "wow" feeling when you read the fighting scenes--it's not as "moving" as in the anime series where you can actually see the movement and have that thrill of seeing the angels actually move. But that's just my opinion so don't get pissed at me if you think otherwise sweatdrop
I wish I was able to show my anime club more of Angelic Layer--they only saw the first three episodes and I really wanted them to get to watching the fighting scenes so that the members wouldn't think so poorly of it stressed I've been begging the prez and other officers to show it but, being the thick-headed numbskulls they are...they said "Oh, we wanna show something new!" or "We showed it last year." stare scream ARGH! IT MAKES ME SO MAD THAT WE CAN'T SHOW IT AGAIN BECAUSE MY STUPID CLUB WANTS TO SHOW DIFFERENT ANIME! scream

Know what? xd I had an Angelic Layer RPG here on gaia but...I think it died crying and therefore no longer exists. Which made me sad because I couldn't find enough players to keep the RPG from dying and, I didn't discover this thread till yesterday--and my RPG died 3 months ago xd
Oh well...and in order to keep on topic here, redface I, again, just want to say how wonderful Angelic Layer is--it gives hope to all young ones that size and age don't matter and that they can be whatever they want to be! All in all, it's just a wonderfull anime and manga! heart

^_^ I agree, Chobits and Angelic Layer are in conspriacy together. I mean, Icchan made personcoms and the A.L. dolls anyway. I know though, that Minoru and Misakchi are related. She was at his sister's funeral...and in Card Captor Sakura Kero was reading a book on A.L. dolls. >_> I hate that when A.L. got translated, all Misakchi's 'NAAA's got turned into 'EEEK's.

Maybe I'll get it now that I've heard good things about it... normally movies and anime like that don't really intrest me. Since it's by CLAMP, though, I'll give it a try. 3nodding

most of my friends wont read Angelic Layer because it was "A" (for All Ages obviously, not Adult smile )
I've not seen the entire anime yet...I wanna though!
