He was silent for a moment before he looked at her. "It is not wise to play games with nature. She is a cruel mistress and underestimating her has cost many their lives."
Picking up a bundle of kindling he nodded at her. "I am offering protection from her wrath this night. If you choose to tempt her that is your fate"

"You are one with nature in such ways that you can tell what sort of night lies ahead?" Her brow furrowed slightly as she eyed the bundle that had been pressed in her arms. Did he expect her to tend to his fire?
She snorted softly as she turned away from him, figuring that it was the least that she could do for the help he had given her thusfar. She stooped down by his fire pit, arranging the various sticks and twigs as she'd been taught to do so. Men.

"The air is sharp already. It shall be a cold night." He was a simple thing to tell if you were paying attention. He moved about his camp cleaning things up and putting things away so that they did not get hurt by the cold.
Tieing back his teepee he shuffled things around inside. It was large enough to build a small fire inside too to keep his bed and the strange baskets warm.

"The past nights have been cold." She nodded slowly as she stood, dusting her hands off. The wood had been arranged and now all it needed was lit. She remained standing there she was, not wanting to invade his privacy by moving closer to the teepee.

"It shall be colder tonight." He looked up at the sky. "The clouds speak ill of the weather." He moved one of the basket's around and sat down to clear off the small fire pit in the teepee.

She took a seat near the arrangement of sticks, twigs and kindling outside the teepee, pulling her legs up to her chest. It wasn't all that bad outside. She could have made it back to her own teepee... She could still make it if she stood back up and left now.

He started a small fire inside the teepee to warm it before heading outside. Raising a brow at the lack of a fire started out there he sat down to start it himself.

He couldn't have expected her to start the fire without any means to do so. She had no rocks to create a spark... No flame from another teepee's fire... Nothing. Her toes wriggled in her moccasins as she stretched her legs out slighly.

He started a fire and after a bit of poking and prodding he had a nice blaze going. "Would you like something to eat?" He had some things left over from earlier in the day that he could share.

She parted her lips to say 'no', prepaired to insist that she'd already imposed on his kindness too much already... But her stomach gave off a slight growl, causing her nose to wrinkle slightly as she nodded. "Yes... I can cook if you would like. My skills are not great, but they have improved muchly."

He turned around and pulled a pot over from where it was hanging beside his home. "If you'll just watch it that will be fine." He had tried vegetables and meet that just needed water. Pulling over a small pouch filled with water he'd gotten earlier he dumped a few things in and set the pot on the fire to cook.

She nodded slowly, letting her gaze linger on the fire as it danced against the wind. She could hear the things within the pot begin to sizzle as the moisture of the water soaked back into them. The scents teased her nostrils, making her curious enough to want to peek inside. She didn't though... Instead she sat back, humming softly to herself.
Inside the teepee unseen one of the baskets seemed to shift slightly in response to the song.

He heard the basket shifting and turned his head to look back at them. "I think they like your song." He poked at the things in the pot as the started to cook so that nothing burned.

"... They?" Her brow lofted as she looked towards Tsisqua, trying to figure out what on earth he was talking about. There was no one else save the two of them around... She had not heard any of the Soquili approach.

He pointed inside his home. The edge of one white basket could be seen. "I found them while hunting a few days ago"
