iron_will I think its good for bass players to be well rounded musians. I agree, I'm new to the guild so wzup? Secondly to answering your statement, I agree, I play besides bass guitar and paino/synth. I think it is good for a bass player to know guitar especially, I think it is good excerise for speed.

nomel_lemon i play two other instruments.. but they are for two seperate school bands, Oboe and french horn. i play those too, except i quit oboe a few years ago, so i guess i don't really play it anymore.

Of course I'm a bassist by heart. And of COURSE I'm a vocalist, everyone secretly is, if they say so or not. You're lying through your teeth if you say you don't sing in the shower. blaugh But I play trumpet, piano, and I've played just a year of drums (to get my anger out, me thinks). But like I said, the bass is part of who I am. Or something. (trying to not sound like a hippie here sweatdrop )
EDIT: Oh yeah, and guitar. Heh heh... heh. stressed

i play a little clarinet, started up again after a few years of an anger-induced musical void. thats when i started the bass, too. i need to try guitar again...

I love bass, but my first instrument was my voice. I love to sing but when I'm not feeling so social, bass is an extension to my voice. I would really love to learn how to play the flute.
