I can't wait to see the conversation between the two when the Doc explains to Jack what happened to Rose...

Not sure if my comment is a spoiler, so I'll put it in white...

Doesn't the Doctor say that Rose is on a list of the dead in the scene at Bad Wolf Bay? If that's true, Jack will think Rose has been killed.

you're correct Katy! i remember it well. so anybody reckon there leaving clues in the Episodes? it could be that hence the glasses...the hand etc.
check out the official website though http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchwood/jack_pano.shtml

i think there may be some clues as to the things that they have. i unfortunately do not have the time to do a reli good search of it so maybe we can combine our observations...as such i am creating a subject on this in the Guild Forums

Yes, true, but - won't the Doc tell Jack what *really* happened, anyway? That is, if he doesn't already know what really went on at Torchwood One...
I suppose by then it probably won't be important...

There's also the possibility that Torchwood kept internal records of what happened separate from the public records as big as that institution was they had to have had cameras somewhere, the rest is in white to avoid spoiling: I mean it would be a bit out there to list Rose Tyler et all as alive but sucked into another dimension on the public records, but considering all that Torchwood goes through it wouldn't be terribly far fetched to imagine they have her listed as something to that effect.

If "Death by Torchwood" is considered a legitimate thing to put on a death certificate, then I'm sure that something to that effect would not be out of the questions.

HEADS UP people i am including a spoiler in white in this bit so please dont highlight it if u dont want to know! this is all about the hand

A severed hand can be seen pickled in a jar at the Torchwood Hub. The 21st October issue of Radio Times confirms the fact: "That's the Doctor's hand that the Sycorax leader cut off in the Christmas episode of Doctor Who last year." In Day One, Captain Jack is very protective of the hand; as he cradles it after its casing is smashed, "Flavia's Theme" from Doctor Who can be heard.

i think this looks promising...

Yeh, I've got that copy of the RT. I had a squee moment once I'd read that.

Also, I noticed the music in that episode. I had a squee moment at that as well xd

I think we all must have *Squee*'d at the hand in the first & second episodes once realising what it was blaugh it didn't take long to pick up that it had to be the Doctor's hand. What else could it have possibly been there for?

*sigh* poor Jack...I'm still waiting for his Tardis key to show up, surely he'll still have that on him somewhere...

I squee quite a bit. I think it annoys my family quite a bit.

And yes! I want an appearance of his TARDIS key.

I wonder what the range is of the TARDIS key, as far as that glowy thingy it does is concerned. Did Jack's key glow every time the Doctor was on Earth from the 1950s on, or is he too far away from London?
Do we know that he still has his key?

I'm not sure that the Tardis key actually glows all the time, I think it might have just been that situation where the dimension inside the Tardis was separated from the Police Box in our dimension. If I remember correctly the Doctor stated it was glowing to tell him that she was still connected.

I would imagine that Jack still has his key though as he was able to enter the Tardis without the doctor in Bad Wolf. It wouldn't have made sense for him to hand the Doctor his key back before the battle and the Doctor leaves with Rose before seeing him again, so in all probability he still has the key.

Yeah, but in Bad Wolf they got transmatted, so the Doctor wouldn't have had time to lock the door. I don't remember Jack ever having a Tardis key...

That is what I thought also. There was never a scene featured where Jack was given a key. I have the episode where they get the TARDIS back on the Games Station on DVD, so I will check to see if he does unlock it, but in the end, he might have had Rose's key
