You guys have got it sooooo easy! I have absolutely no Asian relatives whatsoever! xp Most of my Korean friends are here to learn English, so I feel bad if I try to speak Korean with them since they need English practice. sweatdrop Plus, I'm a 21 year-old, ooold grandpa-type person and therefore probably too old to ever learn it fluently. scream
Good thing is, though, that I'm going to Korea for a year this summer!!! Yay!!!!!!! xd

I can speak a tiny bit. I can read it fine. I have a hard time remembering things. My wife's Korean and I got to a Korean church, but everyone speaks English to me there. Even if I say something in Korean...they respond in English -_-;; I miss Korea. I've been there a couple times. I'm hoping to go back sometime next year.

the scary thing is that, if you dont speak in korean too much, you'll actually forget. 그래서 왠만하면 집에서는 우리말 쓰려고 노력중... >_<

Heh, at least you guys have excuses for not knowing Korean. I'm half Korean and I lived in Korea my *whole* life, and I don't know a word of Korean. I don't keep in touch with my Korean side of the family so I never have to worry about that. However, it kind of irks me when I go to the store and I have no idea what to say.

I can read Korean very well, but my understanding is a bit limited, although I learned most of the basics.

That's probably a side-effect of being around my hyper friends and my crazy job. 3nodding I tutor a bunch of little kids. xp
