He laughed. "Great, you?" He said catching back up with her. It wasn't so bad when you walked in the snow, just when you tired to stop was a problem He gave a light chuckle.
"Oh, I'm sure my butt can take a few more bruises." He was sure that he'd be around long enough to raise them kids. Though, he could never be too sure. There were talk about attacks from a soquili. Sounded odd. He'd totally forgotten about the skinwalkers that showed up awhile back.

Myoa grinned, "I don't know, I'm getting the hang of it, but what do you think?" Trotting on, Myoa started feeling the snow stiffen out, and her hooves started rising above it, instead of sinking. The clearing had to be close.
"Oh, but I'm sure you don't want more brusies on your butt." She remarked. "There's no reason to welcome uneeded pain." Even if a few bruises would heal quickly enough, Myoa didn't want any of her friends to get hurt at all.

Cualtzin chuckled. "Indeed you are. I'll never get a hang of it. Though, it's still fun!" He said trotting closely behind her.
"It's not that bad. Brusies are nothing." He said with a smirk. He really didn't notice them when he got them.

Myoa smiled. "Oh, yes you are! And I agree. It's quite enjoyable." She twirled around in a wide circle, laughing. "I'm rather liking the snow, truth be told."
She sighed. "One day, something worse'll happen than bruises. Please be careful, Cualtzin."

Cualtzin didn't understand why everyone told him to be careful. He was as careful as he needed to be. He hadn't ran into anything bad... Yet. He gave a light snort. " I know." He said slightly childish.
He chuckled as he heard his voice repeat through his head. He didn't intend it to be like that. "So, where is this place of no slipping?"

Myoa laughed. It wasn't in Cualtzin's nature to be careful, either. She could only hope that he wouldn't take any big risks, at least for a moon or so, while his foals were growing up.
Shaking her head to cover her broad grin, Myoa answered, "It's close. Can you feel the ground starting to even out?" It wasn't in Cualtzin's nature to be patient, either.

He smiled and flicked his tail. Following Myoa. He couldnt' wait to meet Myoa's mate now to think of hit. She'd said his name, and a few other things about him, yet never anything too discriptive. Though, his time for meeting him will come.
"Oh! That's good." He said, even though he liked to move around then stay still. Though, this snow made it hectic to even think about travelling in the snow. But, he had to get food for Tally. There was no way in heck that he was going to let her walk around in this snow. Why Myoa was he'd never know. Though she did have wings.

Soon, Myoa's hooves weren't sinking into the snow at all. She smiled. "We're here." Her musical voice echoed lightly in the clearing, with none of the usual wildlife running around. She missed the birds and the little chipmunks, but they belonged in there burrows and nests, safe and warm. "Actually," Myoa thought wryily, "I should be at home too."
"So, Cualtzin, what brings you out here? Shouldn't you be with Tally?" She inquired, slightly curious. Cualtzin was quite protective.

He smiled. He figured she should have been at home. "Oh, she's sleeping and my two legger and her two legger and watching her." He simply said. "So I decided that it was a good time for a walk." He added. Though, it was his nerves that got him out. Ever since Tally became pregnant he was nervous.

Myoa smiled. "I know you better than that, Cualtzin," was all she said. She guessed that Cualtzin was too anxious to be able to stay in one place. "You'll make a wonderful father, Cualtzin," She whispered, almost to herself, "I only hope I can make a wonderful mother."
Noticing that the shadows were getting longer, Myoa sighed. "I should be heading back now. I promised Degewi I wouldn't stay out too long." She cocked her head adding, "Tally's probably missing you too. You should get back to her." Her expression errupted into a teasing grin as she flung a snowball formed with her wings softly at her best friend. "I've been meaning to do that."

Cualtzin laughed. "You'll be a great mother! Second best in the soquili land. First, of course, is Tally." He winked at her and gave another laugh. They'd been friends for so long, yet hardly saw each other. He smiled.
"Oh." He looked up as she did. It seemed that time had past quite alot. He smiled. "Yes, I figure She'll be a wake and wondering where I am." He shook his mane to get the snow out of it. "Hey now. Your lucky your expecting!" He said playfully. He'd get her back, even if it was mud instead of Snow.

Myoa grinned and stuck her tongue out. surpressing laughter. "Well, once I'm not expecting, who said you'd be able to catch me?" She nodded, still grinning. "Yes, Tally will be a wonderful mother," the Peridot agreed.
She smiled and nuzzled Cualtzin fondly. It was a major pity they couldn't see each other more. They were as close as siblings. "Well, I better get going not, bye, and please give my regards to Tally!" She nuzzled him again, and quickly (or as fast as she could), began trotting off in the opposite direction.

Cualtzin snorted. "Just don't fly away, and we'll see who's faster!" He said playfully. They were like siblings, that was how close they were. Even though some siblings aren't that close.
He nuzzled her back and nodded. "Same with you. Tell that mate of yours hello." He called after her as she left. He stayed there for a moment watching her leave before he too, turned around and walked towards his pregnant mate.
