If I had it, huh? ....Man I can imagine that alot of people would die. sweatdrop It's complicated to explain why, but there are alot of people I think the world would be better off without.

If that thing was real, all hell would break lose. If I had it, I'd just keep it so I'd have my own shinigami following me. 3nodding

if deathnote was created as a manga or anime but the same stuff was happening. . . criminals dieing of heart attacks and stuff . . . i think it would talk people of the world LONGER to figure out that all those deaths were connected! and after that relization i think their would be massive religious panic!!! it would be interesting to say the least!!

 can you all think before u comment. what do you think will happen if a whole buch of radom people started dying for no reason?(not to mention George W Bush) there will be a mass hysteria and the world will meet its demise due to the fact people will go crazy and starts doing stupid stuff. If the death note was real I will keep it in a safe place until something big or dangerous is threatening me... Then i will use my right hand and write twisted

If I had one then I'd probably use it somewhat like Light. I'd tell my friend since she has the exact same mind as I do on this kind of thins and with both our cunning and logic probably get as far, or farther, than Light did in the anime.
I would of course test it on a higher criminal at first, not making the same mistake Light did as to test on a lower criminal in the region he lived, and if it worked just kill the major criminals. Of course a select few minor ones but not where I live since that would pinpoint more location where I'd be. And just to be sure, I'd right details of death insetad of just the name so no suspicion of the note actually existing would get out. I'd probably most likely make everyone suicide and possibly a ouple of heart attacks if Im in a hurry.
Watching a lot of CSI, DN, and criminal stuff I am actuallty pretty good at this stuff, I just dont do my homework, so I have crap grades so far crying
Anyway, if all goes histerical about this I'd wait a while till other countries get word of this THEN stop, cuz that would still keep them from finding out that I live around this counry I live in now XD
I would not get Shinigami Eyes, for same reasons as KIRA, but my friend said that if she had the chance she would and I'd help her with the KIRA thing lol
So, I would use the DN and my friend would help with the Shinigami Eyes. Also, I think this will get us closer to our current "project" if we DID have the DeathNote.
LOL My friend's think Im insane to have this all planned out so well sweatdrop Its a LOT more detailed than this in several different ways but I wont bother with that boring crap lol

if i got the deathnote,and itt was real,id freak out me and my friens have joked around saying we would kill the person who plays hannah montanna and stuff but i seriously dont know what id do...i mean...i might use it, for good, i might not... it would just be hard... burning_eyes (no i would noot killthe person who plays hannah montannah even though i hate her...ok if i was gonna use it for good the rest of the time i might... twisted )

I have asked that question myself many times...
If the "real" world had a encounter with a Death Note, Two things could happen ;
One: the book would fall into the wrong, hands and the world would turn to chaosby the discovery of a supernatural "murder " weapon ...
Or Two: The book would be found by a quiet person , and either the book would be used distastefully to kill enemys or to kill wrongdoers , and the world would never know.
Truthfully, if I had a death note in my power i would use the attached shinigami, for my own uses.. (such as finding out about other realms) And would probably discreetly use the death note for my own sucsess in life.
In other words ,I wouldn't ever tell another living soul inless that person was also possesed heart

If Death Notes were real I'd say it'd be very complicated. I bet that there wud b loads of laws about using them and people wud somehow get used to seeing shinigami walking around. lol biggrin
