Ill say what I always say 'Why do people have to die?' cry heart Because death is natural part of life. Without it, would we have any point to living, knowing that we'll have an infinite amount of time to achieve our goals and aspirations? Just because they are gone now does not mean that they are gone forever.

The answer that I loved the most to why people die is 'To make life special and worth living'
But still.... Some people dont even get a chance.

In what messed up world is that enough time to even start trying to achieve our goals and aspirations? I mean, you only have one chance at life. Why was his 2 and a half years, when mine is already 15 and a half? Why didn't he get a chance at life?
And how do we know there's anything after? Why should we think that there is? Estellio Estel

But that makes me think of all the people who commit suicide. Its like they cant remember any good at all so they just end it. And it makes me feel soooo guilty for ever being mean to people because I dont know if they are hurting so much inside and everything. Thats why i cant deal with people cutting or people hurting themselves. Once someone tells me that I rack my brain for every bad thing I have done or said and think 'did that make them do it?' >.<

He may not have known it, but do you think that he may have unintentionally taught his parents a lesson? He did have a chance at life. Although it was not as long as other's, does that mean that it was not equally as meaningful and valuable? If there was only life and death, nothing before and after, would there be a point to life? You'd be living to die, whatever you teach others, do for others, would not matter as it would all end when you died and the ones that you have affected died. To me, that makes it seem like life would be meaningless. There has to be something afterwards that makes life worth livng, to make it count.

What does him teaching his parents a lesson have dto do with anything? I mean, he didn't get a chance to live. He didn't get a chance to do things that any normal kid could have done. DRUKI. The kid spent 8 of his 30 months alive in the hospital. That's over 1/4th of his life in the hospital.
And what if we just are? What says there has to be something else? What says we aren't meaningless? What if we just are?

Estellio Estel You asked which kind of world would 2.5yrs. be enough time to achieve goals and aspirations and I gave an answer so much so that I even gave a potentially correct answer as to what his goal could've been. I would love to answer your other points and questions, though I fear that I may step out of bounds and into the religious doctrine that I believe, more so than I already might have. However, if you would still like to debate and ask, feel free to PM me and I will answer them to the best of my ability. smile
