Silent Hill 2, by far the most shocking ending to a game so far (for me anyway.) Also Dead Rising for zombies, need I say more!?
I love Silent Hill 2. Once you understand the main reasoning behind each characters, you are in TOTAL awe. [if you haven't, try Gamefaqs, and plot analysis, they will explain EVERYTHING for you]O_O It has the best storyline in any game in my opinion. ^_^ I love that game-- I've never beat it though [never had the guts to continue on into the prison. I just had to face it--- I can't stand up to Pyramid Head and Historical Society place thingy... it's crazy scary. Even though he's awesome.], but I personally witnessed every second of SH2 when my brother played. =D

BTW, I love the In Water ending. It's so sad, and great. Makes me feel as if everything's over-- although I hope that it didn't have to end that way--- it's the most complete ending out of the rest. Second place goes to Maria ending--- even though I really don't like the fact that it's happening, It's good to see an actually happy ending. Leave is too unforgiving to me, it's not happy. Rebirth is just like a pipedream in my opinion. The others are silly little kiddy endings. xD
