Rylin paused and turned his head slightly to glance back to the soft-spoken girl, the black rose held against his pale face to hide a smile. With a nod of his head, he turned and walked back into the house, gently closing the door behind him. Their business was none of his affair until they brought him or Raelin into it. He heard them and knew very well that they were lost, afterall, Rylin and Raelin's house was the only unique house out of the rows and rows of tidy little houses. Getting easy was quite lost, every house looked the same except for the one that they stood infront of, finding your way back was quite difficult without the help of those that lived and knew the neighborhood well. Rylin sat down at the table and lifted his glass, moving it in a circular motion to mix the thick red liquid contained in it, and when he looked up, the rose still held to his face, he met a pair of green eyes glaring at him from across the table. "Raelin.."
"Every day, Rylin. Every. Damn. Day. You always manage to do it. I don't know how, and I don't know why, but I want you to stop. Okay? Enough is enough, you know when to quit, and it's quitting time." Raelin looked as if she were about to burst into tears. She knew that Rylin would know what she was talking about. He always managed to upset her day by day. It seemed that he could never just let her be, he was always meddling into her affairs when they were none of his business. He had a life, so why couldn't he stay out of her life? Why did he have to be the type of older brother that always pestered their younger sister. Mainly, why did he have to be the type of brother to embarrass and upset her by talking about her being in the shower or dressing in her room. She knew that there were perverts around, and that it was Rylin's way of warning her, but she was sick and tired of it... and frankly, she was sick and tired of him. With one last blink and her glare lightening slightly, she stood and walked up the stairs to her room, slamming the door angrily.
Rylin sighed and stood, walking to the fridge to put the wine glass in it. He then walked into the living room and sat in a large velvet chair, pulling down a rather old book. "She knows I can't enjoy my meal when she's so upset. Little sister's are so pesky."

Raelin clung gently to Jepherie's arm as they walked down the streets. Their house was the only house with a dead yard, black roses growing, vines creeping up the sides of the house, and the only house that was tall and black. Everything else was so much more different and lively. Raelin had never been outside the comforts of her home before, and Jepherie went from being quiet and good-mannered to a full out rebel when their Mother went out and wouldn't return for about a day or two. This was rather quite scary for the little witch. Finding Jeph's hand, she gently took it and still hugged his arm, hiding her face behind his shoulder. Every now and then she threw a emerald-eyed glance towards their older brother, Rylin.
"Are you sure we should be doing this, Jepherie?"
Jepherie rolled his brilliant green eyes once more and sighed heavily. Stopping he pushed his shades down to the tip of his nose and stared over them down at Raelin. He tossed a glance to Rylin and sighed again. His ears were perked, and his tail was still.
"Look, we've been through this already. If you're scared, go back home. If not, then come along. You don't have to do what we do, Raelin, we're just sick and tired of being cooped up in the house. Mom shouldn't get too mad, and if she does, then she can take it out on me. I promise you won't get in trouble, okay?"
Raelin cast a sidways glance to the ground and then looked back up to Jepherie, smiling softly while still gently holding onto his hand and clinging to his arm. Though she did relax a little bit.
"Okay, Jepherie. You're the best brother ever!"
She let go and walked over to Rylin, climbing up onto his back and draping her arms around his neck for a piggy-back ride.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever."
Jepherie started to walk again before glancing behind him, his shades already pushed back up to the bridge of his nose, his brown bangs falling into his eyes while the rest of his hair framed his hair and feathered out at the ends.
"Oh, and one more thing. I am not your brother. I'm not even family, so don't even call me that. Just think of me as a friend, got it? Being called brother is annoying."

OOC: Later that day, since many things passed by and Tahoi and I started roleplaying Luciel and Rylin. To catch up, just in case Tahoi posts (<3), Rylin was evil and did all this gay stuff to Luciel as a joke... but he ended up feeding off of Luciel and now he's having to take care of him in his safely locked down Haven while Luciel has no memory what-so-ever and since Rylin isn't the smartest fellow, he didn't plan anything out, so all signs point to.. ahem. Anyway, it SEEMS that its just two men living all alone... xD Stupid Rylin, stupid! <3

Whoot. Continuing from the thread, the little kidnapping incident. ------------------- "A dream...?" Had he been dreaming? "I can't remember, really. I'm sorry..." Rylin looked upset, and that made him feel bad. Luciel sat up, his eyes glazed-over. One thing about Luciel that would probably never change was that he was always slow to wake up and dazed until he did. It was an odd little quirk, but that was how it always was. In this state, he might not see the blaringly obvious right away. xD;
Luciel's ears drooped a little. He couldn't remember a thing, but according to what Rylin said, they seemed to have known each other for a while. But Rylin had said 'again,' so did this mean that he forgot things often? Did he have memory problems? Rylin had also said he took care of him...so was he sick, then? Was it because he seemed to keep losing his memory or was it something else? A hand unconciously went up to his neck and tugged out his necklace, toying with it. "Hey Rylin? Am I ill?"

Rylin tilted his head and his gold eyes softened even further. Good, apparently Luciel didn't notice the.. obvious.. just yet. Fingers tangled in Luciel's white hair, he looked down at him and thought for a few moments.
"You are not ill with any sickness... The only thing you have is memory loss... In a few days, things will flood back to you, but that is only if you want things to be how they once were. You will make that decision later on.."
Rylin gently pulled his fingers from Luciel's white hair and gently brushed stray strands from the other boys face. Rylin had made up a story and now he had to go with it.. Tilting his head, he gently put a cool hand on Luciel's face and stood up, walking towards a door.
"Are you hungry?"

"How they once were?" What were things like now, then? How'd he lose his memory? So many questions... Luciel didn't really understand, but he supposed that was okay. Things would make sense if he waited for the answers to come, right? And anyway, Rylin seemed like a nice person. Sorta like a brother, or a good friend. "Yeah, a little."

Rylin smiled softly and walked into the kitchen, closing the door behind him. He walked to the counter and rested his arms on it, his fingers fidgeting together. Laying his head on the cool countertop, squishing his hair to his face, his gold eyes stared down blankely at the counter.
At least he doesn't think the worst... what I thought it would look like. Thank God, smart guy. Since he doesn't think we're lovers, then he'll gladly accept things back to the way before and I'll just erase the memory of Rylin Du Coudrae. Simple as that.
Rylin lifted his head and rested his chin on his hands that were now flat on the counter, a smile on his lips now that things weren't as complicating as he thought they would be. After Luciel's memory started to come back to him, he could go back to his old life, and he will have forgotten all about Rylin, which was the best for the both of them, surely.
Although, Rylin did enjoy Luciel's company, even if he was confused right now. For once, Rylin wasn't seeing this as a game. Was he really taking responsibility for his own actions, for once in his life? Was that even possible?
Rylin quickly made a salad and got a glass of "wine" for himself, then returned and sat back down on the bed, setting the bowl of salad on Luciel's lap. Salad would have to do for the boy for now. Rylin sipped his "wine" and picked up his book, absent-mindedly reaching out a hand, his fingers tangling up in Luciel's hair once more.
It was sort of as if he was petting Luciel, or just being cuddly and affectionate. Right now it was hard to tell, but Rylin was only trying to help the healing process speed up that way things could go back to normal.

Luciel thanked Rylin before eating his salad. His tail wagged slightly while he ate; he was still a dog, after all, and he was being petted and fed at the same time. A real dog would probably be feeling pretty happy right about now.
While he ate, he let his mind wander from one thing to the other, but eventually all trains of thought arrived at the same destination: he didn't remember a thing. That left only one thing to do! "Hey Rylin? Do you know how I lost my memory in the first place?" Ask questions.

Rylin set the book down and sipped on his drink before setting that down as well too. He gently draped his right arm, his only free arm, over Luciel's shoulders and over his chest while his left hand was still gently tangling in Luciel's hair. If there was one thing he was glad for at this moment, it was being a vampire, because as a vampire he didn't feel guilt so he didn't have to be honest.
"I'm not exactly sure. An incident that involved the both of us, which is when you and I first came... together."
Rylin wasn't sure what that statement was going to sound like to Luciel, but so far things were going smoothly and the boy just thought they were good friends or something of the like, which was good.
"It was my fault, really, which is why I have been taking care of you for quite some time now.."
Rylin offered a gentle smile and untangled his fingers gently from the boys hair, though his left hand still remained ontop of Luciel's head.

Yup. Definately like a brother. Very comforting really.
"What do you think happened?" So they met in an accident...ouch. What happened, did he hit his head or something? How was it Rylin's fault? One thing was certain, Luciel was grateful to Rylin. He'd been looking after him the whole time and he'd been very kind to him, so even if it had been his fault he lost his memories, that was okay. He smiled brightly at Rylin. "Thanks Rylin."

Rylin felt thoroughly reassured, well, if a vampire could feel reassured that is. Standing up and gently patting Luciel on the head he stretched out.
"I can't say, really. You're... welcome..."
Rylin offered another smile and then started to walk off down the hall, stretching again before throwing a golden eyed glance to Luciel.
"I'm going to go take a shower... You just rest up."
With that, Rylin turned and walked off down the hall, opening the bathroom door and walking in, closing and locking the door behind him. Turning towards the mirror he frowned. Sometimes he wish he did have a reflection, though he knew well that he would never have one. Sighing and undressing, hanging his clothes up safely, he walked into the large showering room and turned on one of the shower-heads, then turned on the rest of them so the steam would fill the room quicker. Leaning back against the wall and slowly sliding down it, he found himself sitting upon the floor with his knees up, his arms propped on his knees, and his chin resting on his left hand. His right hand was just above his chin, his index finger resting over his lips while his thumb cupped his chin.
Rylin wasn't sure why, but for some reason he wished that Luciel never would have thanked him.
...
The front door opened slightly and a small female slipped through the door. She carried a broom and wore a short pink, gold, and black dress. Turning around she blinked to see Luciel sitting on the bed. Raising a brow her brilliant emerald eyes studied Luciel up and down, her golden bangs falling across her face elegantly, while her silken crimson hair flowed freely about her shoulders. Was it actually possible that Rylin fed from a male? Oh, ho, ho. Perhaps this time she would play along with the game.
"Well hey there, big boy."
Raelin's voice was sweet and her pink tongue wetted her supple lips. She removed her hat and her hair fell more freely about her shoulders and down her back. She had a very nice build. Her chest was well developed and her curves were rather nice, she was slender as well. But she was short, only about five feet and four inches.

Luciel nodded, still smiling. What a nice guy...it was too bad he couldn't remember anything about him.
He was looking at the cieling, idly playing with his necklace, when he heard the door open. At first he thought it was Rylin (that must've been a quick shower!) when he realized that something...smelled funny. Yes, even though he wasn't aware of it, he had picked up Rylin's scent with his doggy-dog senses! It was all over the room. Whoever just came in, it wasn't Rylin! He turned to look and saw a girl. She looked pretty, like how Rylin looked nice. He kinda wondered what she was doing.
"Who're you?"

Raelin tilted her head at Luciel, causing her golden bangs and crimson hair to fall slightly into her face at just the perfect angle. The dim light caught her emerald eyes and made them shine. Her lips opened slightly and she let out a small giggle before she walked over to Luciel and plopped down onto the bed, crossing her legs and leaning back on her hands. She lifted one hand for a moment to brush hair from his face, then from her own face, before setting her hand back down to balance herself while she leaned backwards.
"Oh, poor baby! You must be forgetting things again! Hopefully that big naughty Rylin hasn't been doing things to you. Ahem, I'm Raelin, Rylin's little sister and you're number one girl!"
Raelin flashed him a little wink. She was a witch, and witches were always adorable!

Luciel's ears twitched. Doing? Doing what? "What do you mean?" 'Big naughty Rylin'? But he thought he was pretty nice...this was getting kinda confusing. And...'number one girl,' what? So she was another important person he forgot? @__@
He smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry, I don't really remember much of anything. So you and I knew each other before? Do you know how I lost my memory?" If he had liked her before, he could see why, but at the moment he felt nothing but awkwardness at having forgotten everything.
