I love the idea of invite only. Making a sticky for regular members to request new additions would work quite well.
And I'll do my best to think of a few good topics as well. I don't have any right to complain if I'm not doing anything to fix the problems!

I don't have any right to complain if I'm not doing anything to fix the problems! hey i hadn't noticed the problem u guys were talking about until skeletina mentioned the new members posting. i agree with the invite only because like its been said before, this is MY (our) clubhouse and i know u all very well and love u all. it feels strange having new people come in and just think they can be a part of the group. anyone else in support of the invite only thing say AYE!!!

oh and it took me 2 tries to pass the first written test. i passed the first DRIVING test the first time YAY!

Yeah, I like the idea of invite only too. We have many good regular members, from them we can expand, when we want to.

I like the idea of invite only. And, I can't even drive yet because they extended the law for driving in the US. gonk That means I'll have to depend on my brother's driving skills. crying

man......i've had my learner's permit since i was 15.5 so i've been driving for 5 years. i can't believe you all don't drive!! eek

Had anyone seen Flare lately? Flare comes and goes, I talk to her sometimes via mail and she always seems very busy. We also have lost thatericguy, who also used to be a regular. The guild was request to join, and we (the mods) would just approve whom ever came along, since the rule was everyone will be accepted. But I think now we won't just approve people anymore, if someone has a friend they want to join, then they can post their name and why, then the mods can send an invite or accept their request, rather than just accepting everyone blindly. Of course I have no problems if people have mules to join, they just need to ask for us to approve them. Then we couldn't have to do membership culls anymore as we wouldn't have quite so many people joining and never posting again.

^good idea, almost. You might kill off the guild that way. Tis true though, new members who actively participate are rare, few, and far between.
And, I don't have my licence because I need glasses and my mom won't cover the insurance for the car.
Also, I'm getting errors for posting new topics. Thrice hast it failed. Annoyed am I. give up I shall.
