Starting NOW, this is going to be a party in RP form.
Kamiss walked around his empty manor, waiting for guests to arrive. They had finally accomplished something in the guild, and were expecting great things in the future. He smiled, hoping to get some new people in the guild soon.

Charlene grinned as she stepped up to the grand manor. The double-doors, old wood engraved with scrollin ivy, told a thousand stories with few words, as had the multiple fountains she passed coming up the stone walk. She reached for the shining golden knocker, smiling anew when she saw the roaring lion's-head. She knocked, hearind the booming blow echo throughout the wondrously large house, and then she waited for Kamiss to usher her inside.

Kamiss grinned. "Welcome." He said as he opened the door, waving his hand out behind him like a perfect gentlemen. (Gentlemen? gentleman? I'm tired.) "You're the first-no, second to arrive." He looked down at what was apparently his 'first guest'. It was a cat. "It just came. I think it's a stray. It's fine, though. No rabies, no debilidating disease, nothing."

"Thank you, thank you." She stepped through the doorway, holding her long skirt gently in her white-gloved hand. She bent, slightly, to smile at the small creature that swept between Kamiss' shoes, a slight puur emanating from it's slim body.
"A cat? Oh, lovely! Does he...she? have a name?"

"Not really. I just invited her in when she came to my door. You could name her if you like."

Charlene lifted the cat in her arms, disregarding the fur that she left on her white dress. "A girl, then. Hmm... How about Isirine? Or Iz, for short." The cat purred, rubbing her head under Charlene's chin. "I think she likes it!" she laughed, setting Isirine down again. "Well, a party. A celebration. A gala! Who else is coming to this amazing mansion of a house?"

"I sent an invitation to everybody in the guild. So Silas, pretty much." Kamiss groaned inwardly. So much talent and excitement in this guild. So little members."How are those ads coming?"

"Ah well. We'll make it grand, in any case. Who needs quantity, when we've got quality, no? And they are going...slowly, to put it bluntly. I have one made, and I'm sure you'll see it soon, but it seems...not quite up to par. If you understand my meaning."
Charlene inclined her head with a half-sigh. Then she swirled her skirt, beads glinting in the lamp light.
"Now, then. Shall we got on with the feasting and dancing?"

Kamiss smiled. "Which first? Feasting or dancing? Yous ee, it would be unpleasant to do both at the same time." He teased.

Kamiss stepped forward, music started being played by the band that had volunteered to perform for free. He wrapped his arms around Charlene, rocking slowly back and forth to the sway of the music.

Charlene hadn't been dancing in a while, but she remembered quickly. They stepped lightly around the dance floor, seeming to float. She laughed, completely swept up in the moment. The music was beautiful, the room was beautiful, everything was beautiful. She sighed, perfectly content.

Unaware to Charlene, Kamiss' eyes were wide. He had never, ever done this before. (Sadly, this is true. Embarrassing details over pm.) He didn't know how he was dancing, but he was. He smiled then, realizing just because it was his first time didn't mean it was the world's end. It was him, her, and the music. That's all.

(...I've never danced either.) As the music ended, Charlene took a step back, and curtsied. "Thank you for the wonderful dance." She smiled, then almost tripped as Isirine hooked a claw into the hem of her skirt.

(Was there a girls choose guys/vice versa dance when there were exactly 4 people not chosen by the end? cuz that sucks) Kamiss smiled at the cat. "I think she wants to dance."
