Skipping out on class or work is something I NEVER do. The only things that kept me from school were the pinkeye (since it affects others) and a broken right arm (only for a few days, then back to school). I might have been late for things, but never skipped. It's something I take pride in.
Oh, and peer pressure sucks. None of my friends try peer pressure, we're too cool for that.

It wasn't so much taking the day off, but going home early.
I'd go to the nurse, say I had a bad headache, and ask if I could go home. And she'd let me. She usually gave everyone else some medicine and sent them back to class, though. D:
I didn't feel bad back about it back then, but nowadays if I take a day off, I feel a bit guilty. xD;
