Katara would ahve a very VERY hard time forgiving Zuko again if he comes back to the good side. It's a lot like her predicament with Jet, except she didn't forgive him until she found out he was brain washed... Plus there's the fact that, no matter how hard you look, there is NO cannon evidence of Zutara. Waterbending Scroll? NO. Season finale? NO. That was Katara's caring nature kicking in. Honestly, people... gonk If Zuko comes back to the good side, freindship between the two is possible. But most likely, no further. Sokkasgrl I totally agree. I don't really ship, but Aang just can't be in a relationship. He's the Avatar and that would put way too much stress on him, he even said he gave up Katara. Now for Kataang... It's way more likely. Just because Aang is the Avatar doesn't mean he can't have romance. Yes he's a monk, and that's the only cannon evidence AGAINST Kataang. Plus, it's not just being IN a relationship that's stressful. Just having a massive crush on Katara is stressful for him. Trust me, I know from experience. I think that, for Aang, being in a relationship with Katara would actually help ease some of his stress.

I don't think it's either crack or cannon.... but I do agree with Zutara.
In my opinion, it would be too obvious for Aang to end up with Katara. It's been hinted so much. I think, even if they did end up together, it would be awkward, because Aang is so childish.
Would y'all post REASONS why you think Zutara is crack? B'cause it's no fun to just read constant posts of "It's crack, It's crack." XD

just because a pairings not probable doesnt make it not possible. i think zutara still has a good chance of happening. i mean the creators have never said zutara will never happen, nor have they said kaatang is giong to be canon. so until they do, i think a lot of pairings have a chance of happening. yeah...thats my thoughts xp

I support Zutara more than Kataang on the mere chemistry of it. However, I think unless Zuko does something crazy-wonderful and Katara falls like a house of cards for him, it's not going to happen.
Hm. Well. Actually.
That 'not going to happen' thing is based on the whole Season 2 ending. Hm. Maybe if he changed his ways (again, darnit), she'd forgive him. She's one of those forgive-y people.

I just wanna say something!
Kataang isn't obnoxious-one-sided-puppy-love. Katara somewhat returns the feelings of caring that Aang ahs for her. At worst (well, for me) it's one of those early crushes, where you're becoming accostomed to searching for real love and you fall for your 'best friend' because of how much fun is had and how much is in common. ^^;
Anywhoo, personally, I don't like Zutara. My past comments have probably been seen, so unless further pulled into it, I'll just leave it at that for now.
Also, Zutara isn't the real 'opposites attract' in Avatar. XD It'd be Ozara (Ozai and Katara). Old and young. Fire and water. Evil and good. See? XD Sorry, I wanted to point that out, since a lot of Zutarians use that cliche saying. >.<

It is one sided love. And it is obnoxious. It's Katara's natural caring that you see when she deals with Aang. She doesn't love him like that, she just wants to protect him.

And I seriously dislike the whole notion of Zuko and Katara together, because it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. However, I'm not going to use insulting terms or negative words to describe the relationship if I can help it. Also, caring is what starts love. You care for someone, a little seed of love is planted. Pending on how the relationship pans out, that love could be one of a million different kinds. Or it can turn sour, and turn to hate. ^^ So, I believe it is unclear as to whether Katara does love Aang as of yet, or not. I think it's there, but it hasn't been resolved within, yet, as to what kind of love it is.
