"A gift?" She repeated the question to herself before looking down at the die he indicated to. The Maluess hadn't ever received a gift, expect for that of friendship from some, and it was a fairly new concept. She liked it though.
"Yes, I can accept a gift," she finally replied and took the die in her teeth and let it fall once more.
The eight sided stone fell across the ground and landed on its side, its one holed side facing upwards.
"One! Oh now I really lost..." she looked back up at Bet, snorting.

"Not always little one, there is a chance I could roll a one as well, don't give up before I've rolled."
Bet tosses down his own die and clucks, "Well there wasn't a good chance that I would roll a one." He half smiles, "Would you like to roll again, or we could play a game with more dice?"

(( x_x Sorry for the late reply ))
"Told you," she remarked when the other rolled a six and thus murdered her pathetic roll of a one. Ears perked, however, at Bet's following words and the little bit of sadness from losing just second before seemed to just blow far far away.
"You can do that? Play with more than one dice, I mean."

"The possibilities are endless, little one." Bet smiled and stood moving to the shrine and collecting many dice into his mouth, before returning to his young companion his eyes roamed the others that had come in with her, maybe they were more comfortable watching?
Returning to Enoa Bet let the assortment of dice from his mouth before her, "I would suggest that you make up the rules this round, select any of them and let me know what you want after you roll, if you like that idea."
((no worries <3))

"I'm not that little..." she mumbled to herself as he got up... she shut up though when he returned.
Pale orbs eyed the dice that now laid before her ivory paws. Her mind began to wonder and roam almost so far off that she just barely heard Bet's words on the edge of her thoughts.
"Huh-what I want?" she asked, looking up at him with a slightly confused look.

Bet settled into a laying position with a soft sigh, he felt so much older than he was when faced with one so fresh and youthful as this maluess. But aren't young ones supposed to have more imagination than this ... maybe I'm just not explaining it well enough, not everyone has spent so much time immersed in these games, playing in this dark room, rolling these stones and unfolding the mysteries of this god.
"Hmm, never mind all the confusing stuff, just select some dice and pick higher or lower before you roll them, and then I'll roll, unless this is boring you that is."

"No, it's not boring at all!" the freckled malu exclaimed quickly in response to the other. In fact, she found the whole concept quite interesting. The dice were something she had never seen before and the games in themselves, with the luck and the chance, only added to it.
Almost hurridly, Enoa piped out," higher," and then grabbed the die between her teeth and let them drop.

Bet picks up the 12 sided die and rolls it, he was usually quiet while playing games, although he had played by himself before and was not in the habit of speaking to himself out loud. "Five. You win again. Now see if you can roll lower than me." He wanted to encourage the use of many different dice or maybe rolling more than one die at a time, these games were not about winning but about fun. He also wondered what god or goddess the young girl followed, if any.

A smile flicked over the female's muzzle for a second when it was said that she won... however she soon became a little serious again and this time took up two dice instead of one; two six-sided die. It probably wouldn't give her a winning roll...but that was OK...
"10," Enoa stated as she read the spotted square rocks. Large eyes looked back up at Bet as she waited for him to roll, and in that time, she spewed out a random question.
"What God or Goddess do you actually follow?..I mean, I know it has to do with dice, but...." she trailed off lamely, unsure of how to say what she meant.

Bet watched Enoa carefully, he thought she was having fun but then her smile would fade and her face become serious again, he wondered if he began his silly antics if she would laugh. Selecting two ten sided dice he rolled them, they came up on such a small number. "Oh no, would you look at that, I think you should roll four dice this time, sometimes my dice are very stubborn, or maybe it's the god of games of chance playing through me, he's very tricky and just when you think you've got his favor, he'll turn on you. What about you little Enoa, whom do you follow? Would he or she care if you while away the hours playing games with an oaf." Again he was resting his head on his paws speaking up to her in a soft low voice.

Enoa looked at him, a quirky little look on her face as she tried to decide if he was being normal or odd....ah, who decides where the line that divides those things lies anyways?
"Four dice this time? Rebel move right there. I think your letting your God get the better of you," she commented, giggling a bit with a touch of a sarcastic, good humored, note to her voice. (Aparently she's deemed him normal...)
Picking up four dice this time, she let them drop. Counting the dots, she kept the number in her head for a minute while she answered the question asked of her a bit ago. "I follow the Goddess of Autumn...and I doubt that she will mind if I play luck and chance games with such a simpleton." More sarcasm played on her voice as she gave a smirkish smile.

"Ah. You wound me with your words. Alas, I am but a simpleton in her eyes. The fair follower of Autumn, goddess of falling leaves and dropping temperatures, one so young and fresh, chills me with her winds, alas alas." Putting forth every ounce of drama, he rolls to his side as if mortally wounded and finishes with a flutter of wings and a gasping sigh.

"Alas alas, if I may do state, dear simpleton, it was you who started this naming affair," Enoa skillfully replied, a smirk upon her face....though it soon turned to large burst of laughter after a few seconds. So much for composure.
Scooting forward, she tapped his nose with a paw before attempting to balance a dice upon it.

The die was balanced until Bet spoke, "Affair? Naming." Bet didn't laugh, "If you don't like being called 'little' you could very easily tell me, I meant no offense nor rudeness, young maiden, Enoa."
Rolling to his belly again, though still with his eyes upon the freckled maluess he took note of the number that came up on the fallen die, "Hmm."

"Nor did I. I was actually referring to when you called yourself an 'oaf', sir Bet." Enoa lowered herself to the ground, a light smirk still playing on her face.
"'Hmmmm' what?" She asked, eyes flicking up and down from his face, to the die, and then back again
