Oh, now that Fenrir couldn't resist. Not to mention, perhaps more time to spend with the coon? A grin came to his face. It wasn't necessarily a good grin... but it couldn't be considered entirely evil either... "How do I join?"
Barty stared at Lucius, his eyes wide, but remained silent, as Rudolphus's hand was still over his mouth. Or, somewhat silent. His ears lowered and he gave a quiet whine when he heard that his Lord would return. He wanted his Lord back!
Rudolphus raised an eyebrow. "I think I heard of that group before... The Circle, if I remember correctly?" A cruel smirk came to his lips. "The ones that attacked Severus." He looked to Barty and scratched the back of his head lightly, then returned his attention to Lucius. "Sounds like an excellent plan."

Rae called in a contract and a pen, laying them before Fenrir. "Sign there, and you're in."
Contract I, _____________ (print your name here), hereby do agree to join the Alliance. I understand that this entails that should any misfortune befall a member of the Alliance, I am to come to their aid-- should any misfortune befall myself, the Alliance shall be there to come to mine. Signed: _______________, Date: ______________
"This week I plan to attempt to summon our Lord through a different means than ever attempted before-- using the combined powers of some of my associates. The darkest force will be called-- I think it would be... a pleasure to have the two of you present when this occurs."

Ah.. s**t... Now Fenrir was running into trouble... He looked at the paper, then the pen... Dammit...
"I can't read... Or write..."
Barty's eyes went wide when he heard Lucius was going to attempt the summon this week. His ears perked and he whined slightly, trying to get closer to him.
Rudolphus held the fox still though, keeping his mouth covered as well. "We'll be there, Luc," he said, smirking. "Just tell us when and where."

Surprising new development, but not too much of a problem. Rae simply smiled. "Would you trust me to read it to you then? And just make a mark on the line down there."
"This Saturday at midnight," Lucius smiled. "At the mansion I mentioned. I, of course, have directions for the two of you," the lamia produced a piece of paper-- since he really didn't think that two copies would be necessary.

Fenrir looked at Rae from the corner of his eyes, partially expecting some kind of smart-a** remark at his expense. When it didn't come, he.. didn't really know... O.o Looking back down at the paper, he nodded. "If you could," he said.
Saturday?! That was too long!! His Lord needed to be back NOW!!
Rudolphus used a bit more force to keep Barty still, growling at him in warning. He looked back at Lucius and smirked. "I'll be there. And as long as Barty here doesn't have a heart attack till then, he will as well."

Rae smiled and read the contract aloud to Fenrir, not really caring. Whatever. Reading wasn't a big deal.
"Good then," Lucius smiled. "I'll see the two of you then."

Fenrir listened to the contract.. Or rather, Rae's voice. The coon had a nice voice. "Sounds reasonable," he said, picking up the pen, holding it all wrong. "Where do I attempt at signing?"
Rudolphus nodded. He looked at Lucius again, pausing for a moment. Then he grinned. "It is nice to see a familiar face again. One that hasn't turned his back on us."

Rae smiled and pointed to the line at the bottom. "Right there."
"It's nice to see you as well, Rudolphus," Lucius smiled slightly. Just because he hadn't gone to Azkaban, just because he'd been out and about didn't mean he didn't still care for the cause.

Fenrir put the tip of the pen down where Rae pointed, making a weird squiggle with it on the line. "Does that work?" he asked.
Rudolphus pet the fox's hair slightly when he was showing signs of getting restless again. "Are there any plans as to what to do with the traitor?" he asked.
Barty's eyes narrowed hatefully at the mention of traitor...

Waiting a moment to watch through his enhanced senses as the magic took hold, Rae nodded finally. "That works," the coon smiled and brought out another case, this one with Fenrir's name engraved upon it. "This would be yours then."
After a moment, "Which one?" Lucius smiled somewhat bitterly. "There are many, Rudolphus-- if you haven't forgotten that. So many turned away in the hour which would have been our finest..." Too many.
"But it isn't our decision as to what we should do with any traitors. After all, it is our Lord's place to call them to justice. We merely serve him," the lamia sighed finally. "However. Until he makes his decision, there are certain individuals who have the Alliance's protection-- and this means you and all those associated with this plan to bring our Lord back will leave them alone. These individuals include Remus Lupin, his mates, and their children. Is that understood?"

Fenrir's ears twitched, looking at the case. "What is it?" he asked, reaching out to take it. Rae said it was his, after all.. So why shouldn't he be able to take it and inspect it?
Rudolphus frowned, but he nodded, a bit disappointed. "I guess that makes sense then," he said.
Barty looked outraged. He squirmed out of Rudolphus's hold, slamming his hands down on the table. "That's ridiculous!! They aren't allies of ours!! They are the enemies!!" He mmfed when Rudolphus clamped his hand over his mouth and forced him back down into a submissive posture.
"I swear, I'm going to start carrying tranquilizers around to keep him under control," he muttered, looking at Lucius as if to apologize to him. Anyway.. We don't want to be doing anything to displease our Lord... But what if he does eventually order us to.. take care of them? Our alligence to Him outweighs the loyalty to this Alliance."

"The same thing I showed you before, but this one belongs to you," Rae smiled and handed it over. "All yours to have some fun with."
"If our Lord orders us to do anything, we, of course, follow his orders," Lucius nodded. "Until that time though, you, your friends, your relations, your significant others-- all of them will leave that family alone. They're too important until our Lord rules otherwise." And some of them were too pretty.

A smirk came to Fenrir's lips as he looked over the case. "Perfect.. Thank you, Rae... But, seeing that you had this box prepared already, I suppose you knew I would be joining?" He looked at the other, tail flicking slowly behind him.
Rudolphus nodded again. "Understood." He'd have to make sure that was clear to Bellatrix... though he had to admit, he was getting more than annoyed with his curse-happy nature. Blegh.. But something caught his attention... "The entire family is too important? Or just certain members?"

"There was the suspicion-- no one's turned down an invitation yet," Rae shrugged slightly. "We always have a few on hand at any rate, to be bonded to whoever signs a contract."
"The entire family is important," Lucius stated firmly. Some more than others, but... that family was close knit enough that if something happened to one, the rest would be affected. Strange sort of family, but Lucius wasn't there to judge them.

"They would have to be insane to turn down the offer," Fenrir said. "Or have a death wish."
Rudolphus stayed silent for a few moments. "So... Is Remus the only one out of that group that's in the Alliance? Or are the others too?" He was just curious. Besides.. Remus was really the only one that had a level head in that group. The rest of the family was insane.
