"Well....a woman can tell their secrets if they'd like. It just depends on who they are telling them to and what those secrets are I suppose." Nodding his head lightly, he sighed a bit. He missed his home, his un-dead servants of Mamlucks. Speaking of servants, he was surprised that Xerxes hadn't awoken from his nap. Interesting. Usually the fox was in everyone's business.
He noticed her step back and tilted his head slightly. "Why do you pull away so?" A small glint caught his eye as it came from the top of his turban. Giveing a small chuckle, he turned his head so he was looking at her with one eye. "Don't be frightened. I'm not that big of a fan of prim and proper. This jewel really is nothing more than decoration as all royalty from where I heed pretty much wear similar clotheing like mine."

"Ah, a symbol of royalty, how charming," said Eydis, taking two steps closer to Mozenrath with a sweet delicate smile. "It is quite a remarkable gem. On the Island of the Blossoms, royalty simply wear a boquet of the most beautiful flowers."

Mozenrath smirked in the back of his mind. Good, she was getting into her comfort zone. Atleast, it seemed like it as she approached him again. Nodding his head, he turned his head back around so that he was looking at her normally. "Well, those flowers pale in comparison to you, Princess."

Eydis giggled some more at another one of the king's compliments, which to Eydis meant yet another proposal. "Proposing to me twice in the same day?" asked Eydis as she giggled softly. "I guess that means that you have made your decision so quickly, or were you just paying me yet another compliment after your proposal?"

Giveing a deep chuckle, he shook his head. "You can take it either way you'd like Princess. If proposeing to you twice to make you mine forever is something you want...then I'd do it." His tail gave a quick twitch as he replied to her. Weird, this mare was definatly weird. But, he couldn't really down upon her thinking. She was from a different land after all.
From where he came, it was the Princess' father who choose which suitor she would marry. But makeing compliments and haveing them count as a proposal right out? How odd. He sighed in the back of his mind and wondered how long this would go on. Hopefully this silly mare's thoughts of him wanting to mate with her wouldn't get in the way of his plans. No, he couldn't have that. But he'd go along with it all the same if it meant perhaps it was more to his benefit. Perhaps this would help him blend into the background and not seem so suspicious when things go awry.

"Hrm, well a second proposal is quite flattering," said Eydis, still undecided on her true feelings. She wasn't sure what to really do though. She didn't feel like she was in love with Mozenrath, certainly not yet at least. She needed to do something, and something quick. Oh, but what? Eydis didn't want to break her island's traditions...that's it! Traditions. She'd just make something up. Oh, but what to do...Eydis looked around nervously and akwardly, taking another step or two back away from Mozenrath.

But of his eyebrows lifted as she started to back away from him. Hmmm, perhaps he could get out of this easier than he thought. She didn't seem all that sure about going through with it. And he sure as hell wasn't ready for any life mateing anytime soon.
Giveing a heavy sigh, he lowered his head lightly. "I can tell you are not ready for such a commitment. It shows in your eyes and your body language..." His tail flicked side to side as his bowed his head lower. "I'm sorry if I had rushed it upon you. Now I feel ashamed of myself and perhaps I need to leave...." Takeing a few steps backwards, his cape lifted slightly as he slowly started to turn around. That's it, just keep going. If you can get away quick enough maybe she won't have time to try and be consoleing.

Eydis blinked as Mozenrath began to walk away, staring cluelessly. A gust of sand whipped against her face, getting into her eyes and her mouth. Eydis spat out the dry sand, in frusturation. "Well, uh, good bye!" she shouted, feeling akward over the entire situation, although a bit relieved as well. Eydis turned around and started walking back in the opposite direction, before realizing that her home is in the way that Mozenrath was walking. She didn't want to seem like she was following him, so instead she began walking after him at a slow pace, so he wouldn't feel invaded.

Mozenrath now was heading back the way he had come, glad to finally be out of that situation. Giveing a fruitfull sigh, he continued walking. To no where in particular. Though he didn't noticed that Eydis was following behind him a bit back.
A small wind came up and lifted Mozenratha's cape, reveiling the small fox that was nestled underneath. Giveing a loud yawn, Xerxes opened his eyes and looked around. He got up and clambered his way onto his master's shoulder. "What are we doing all the way out here?" Looking around, he spotted the mare following behind them.
"And who is that?" Without waiting for a reply, he jumped off Mozenrath's shoulder and skittered across the sand quickly. Zipping over small dunes, he finally made it back towards Eydis and stood there infront of her path. His large bushy tail waveing back and forth as it was pushed around by the wind.

This must be a mirage. Something had just jumped OUT of Mozenrath's back and is now walking towards Eydis. It was small, walking on four legs. Had...had Mozenrath just given birth from his back? Eydis's eyes widened as she took a step back. Hopefully this was a mirage...please be a mirage?

Xerxes blinked and looked up at the much taller mare. Wiggling his nose, he took a few steps towards her. "What's wrong? Cat got your toungue?" He laughed a small, hiss type laugh at the joke he had made.
Mozenrath stopped and turned around as Xerxes had jumped off of his back. "Xerxes! Get back here and leave her alone!" His eyebrows furrowed heavily as he watched the little fox.

[zomgz hi! :D Enter: Eydis's split persona.]
One second was all that was needed, one moment for everything that made Eydis tick lurch to a halt. Her heart skipped a beat, her lungs paused sucking in oxygen (albeit most of what came in was sand), her blood stopped feeding her trillions of cells. Everything halted for one slow second while Eydis's mind quietly switched gear.
And then everything exploded back into motion, trying to make up for that one lost moment in time, never failing to leave Eydis breathless. Breathless and angry.
Eydis surveyed the sandy plains with a distasteful frown. She could not understand why she was here, who that stallion dressed up in the obnoxious costume was, or why this fox was standing in front of her looking like he'd just solved world hunger (very, very pleased with himself). Her mind quickly supplied the information she desired, and Eydis, needless to say, did not get any happier.
Eydis glowered down at the fox. In a flurry of hooves, she kicked sand into his face and snarled, "What's it to ya, rodent?"

(( 8D hiya Birdu! *chuckles* ))
The little fox tilted his head slightly as he waited. But the answer he got was not what he had expected. As soon as the sand was quicked at him, he squealed and skittered a few feet away. "You...you wretch!" His poofy tail lashed back and forth behind him as he glared at the larger Soquili. "Picking on small, defenseless animals! It'll be your head that's for sure!" And as quick as lightening, he skittered back over the sand towards Mozenrath.
Climbing up his clotheing, he clambered upwards and buried himself underneath the stallions turban. "That mare is evil!"
Mozenrath raised an eyebrow and looked upward at the fox who had made itself comfortable hideing in his turban. "I don't know what you're talking about. That mare is probably more naieve than anything else...." His black eyes traveled back to look at Eydis. Something was different. The weight of the air around her seemed to change. Interesting.
"Lies! All lies! She is cruel! Kicked sand at me and called me a rodent she did!" Xerxes gave a small whimper as he curled himself tighter into a ball underneath the turban.
"Xerxes, stop being a sniveling fool..." With a flick of his long tail, he shook his head lightly. Though something still nagged at him, but after a moment he brushed it off and started to turn away again. Though he was curious as to what had all went down, but right now he was just trying to get away so he wouldn't be pulled into that situation again like before if she was really that silly enough to think that a compliment was a proposal.

[:33 Yo!]
What a sniveling, vaccuous little worm, Eydis thought as more sand blew into her eyes. Ugh, why was she here? No, no - better question: How do you get out of here?
Eydis wondered what her silly and very stupid other had managed to do this time. Eydis felt the damage control role was always slopped onto her shoulders, a job she did not want nor appreciate. Her mind reminded her that the general direction of outta here was where the rodent had squealed and run off to, catapualing itself onto the clothed stallion.
Eydis hadn't seen much in the line of clothing; all she knew of were flowers (which she detested, but every time she ripped them off the other Eydis just replaced them). Her pessimistic mind immediately assigned the blame on vanity, the urge to look wealthy, or to assign one's superiority over another's.
Although this was something Eydis wouldn't hesitate to do, it still enraged her. Someone was trying to exercise their power over her own. This she would not stand for, under any circumstances.
Spitting a gob of sand out of her mouth (the wind was picking up again), Eydis charged into the sand, reaching the pompous stallion and halting in front of his path. She tried boring a hole into the horse's face with a glare.
"Who do you think you are?" she demanded, stomping a hoof into the freshly churned sand.

As the mare raced infront of his path and took a firm stance infront of him, Mozenrath's eyes lidded halfway. Giveing an almost nonchalant gaze to Eydis, his tail a few snaps back and forth. What the hell was she doing? She was acting weird. Not normal from what she was earlier, how odd. But he'd play along.
"I think I'm Mozenrath. That's who I think I am." His eyes squinted slightly as the sand flew past his face. His cape fluttering and the cloth that skirted his turban did so as well. Takeing a few steps forward, he stared her down. "And just who do you think you are?"
